BEAUTIFUL location. So many sea turtles! Absolutely gorgeous views too! They keep the grounds immaculate. The pool is a bit small... probably not a great idea if you have "active" kids/teenagers who want a big pool experience...but plenty big enough for swimming a few laps back and forth. Nice grill area and adequate beach front too. Good small shops/amenities close by.

Google
Wonderful view and location! We love the Valley Isle Resort. The lobby area is brand new and many of the condos have been upgraded by their owners

Google
The room was clean, had a beautiful view of the ocean from the private back porch, and we had beach access to enjoy the gorgeous blues of the ocean from the sandy beach. And even get in and swim around. Plus the plants and landscaping of the lobby and hallway are very pretty.

Google
Each unit is individually owned, so YMMV, but the location was excellent- we saw sea turtles and humpback whales from our lanai, and even got a visit from a local chicken. Front desk reception helped register our vehicle for parking, they were very friendly and appreciated. Our unit itself was fairly dated, some inexpensive updates could go a long way. Despite many signs for “no smoking”, someone was smoking very smelly weed outside our place on a regular basis.

Google
Everything depends on the unit you are given. Ours had spectacular views of the ocean. Spacious furnished balcony. Well furnished, comfortable, but not luxurious. Excellent cooking and dining gear. If you need help you will get it. Good value.

Google
I've stayed here a couple times. Lahaina is 15min drive the beaches (if you don't want the one under your balcony) is 11minutes away. The property feels private even though your close to everything. Condos are nice, lots of space.

Google
The beach erosion is real. The beach here is gone..huge sand bags are trying to stop the remaining bank from being washed away. Fitness center is gone. The conference area and other rooms appear to be under construction with no work happening for a while. Now understand the big fire was and is an on going tragedy 😢 the Maui spirit and the people have taken a huge hit and are stressed, depressed and generally in shock IMO. Lots of visable whale activity from our 12th floor room.

Google
I stayed here for a week. The room was nice and spacious however, there was no AC, but with a couple fans and leaving the screen door open.. you should be good. Walking distance to the beach with great views. Nice and quiet relaxing resort

Yelp
(Visit was April 19-24) Let me tell yall somethin'.. I was told by one of the locals that many people are stating they do not want people to come due to the fires.. Please do come! Maui survives and thrives off of visitors. I rented an airbnb here and it was EXCEPTIONAL! While I was worried about there being no air conditioning, it worked out well in April. Considering April is a winter month in Hawaii, I don't know how it works in the summer, but the room I stayed in was so immaculate. I woke up every day to the sound of the ocean and had coffee outside every morning watching the beauty of the ocean. It's something I always wanted to experience. Just breathtaking. The entrance is very nice, and the front desk customer service personnel were all super welcoming and kind. I highly recommend this place! Very close to everything in the city. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Yelp
A great condo complex right on a nice beach and close to shopping and dinning. The staff is helpful and friendly. Very clean and well kept

Yelp
We really enjoyed our week stay here! Sea turtles, sea turtles and sea turtles galore!! We even got to see one sitting on the beach right around sunset which was just so unforgettable for our family! Pool was nice size and never too busy. Beach was nice and never super crowded like some of the other beaches. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
My family, friends and I have stayed at a condo in this resort at different times for about 15 years. We stay in the same 1 bedroom condo privately owned. Each unit is individually owned. The property is well maintained and clean. A newly built spacious lobby, pool and BBQs. Very limited amenities but, the view and location more than makes up for it. Do to erosion from ocean there is no beach front to enjoy but, all the units are right on the ocean. You can walk just a few feet and there is lots of usable beach area. We get sunsets from our lanai and sunrises from our front door. Lots of small businesses across the street including restaurants and snorkel Bob's. Gas station and another strip mall at the corner. Life is good when you fall asleep every night with the sound of the ocean. Aloha.

Yelp
Unit 205 is very nice. Fantastic views from lanai. Well stocked unit. Loved hearing ocean at night from nice murphy bed in living room Especially enjoyable during whale season when you can see whales from lanai. Will definitely stay in this again

Yelp
Lovely lovely lovely. The property is beautiful despite a little bit of construction going on during our visit. The first night we were on the 12th floor and for the remainder of our trip (one week) we were on the 5th floor. Insanely gorgeous beachfront views and perfectly positioned to catch the gorgeous sunsets. The crashing waves are melodic and therapeutic, if it is too loud for you then adjust the sliding glass door accordingly or the curtain. I can't recall a time when we have slept better and more soundly. Both units had wifi, Beach stuff in the closets (sand toys, *snorkel equipment and boogie boards), washer and drier, two beautiful rooms with two beautiful full bathrooms with gorgeous and updated showers. One had a stove, one didn't but the one that didn't had a microwave which said it had a stove/bake option. We didn't stay long enough to figure it out and the management company wasn't sure about it. One of our favorite features of the complex was the little brushy pond area in the main corridor, where two turtles lived and we even saw a hefty frog in there. The kids and I would walk by daily hoping to see everyone. The folks at the front office were friendly and helpful. The beach was pleasant and never overly crowded (at least during our stay). Unfortunately it was too windy to have any success with the snorkeling on this beach but we definitely weren't complaining. *According to other reviews, not all units have beach supplies in the closet. Our first unit had most of everything and our second unit only had sand toys.

Yelp
No beach at this resort due to beach erosion. There's giant sandbags in front of the water where there use to be a beach. Great ocean views and sunsets from the balcony. The pool is kind of small. Wish they had a jacuzzi. The rooms have all the necessities like fridge, microwave, stove, washer and dryer. Stayed in a one bedroom condo with a Murphy bed in the living room to sleep a total of 4 people. Good location as it is close to front street and there are plenty of local restaurants near by. Right across the street is Dollies and Miso Phat and a liquor store. Around the corner is a McDonald's. Lots of parking available.

Yelp
Sorry, wrong unit. Can't figure out how to leave a review for another unit. Please disregard any stars or any other information.

Yelp
I was at valley isle in September 2022 on the 6th floor. The building is old, has no AC, I was disappointed, cockroaches are everywhere, towel rack in the bathroom is rusted. The view was ok, not the greatest. This building needs to be upgraded.

Yelp
We rented unit 607 from Kay and Vijay Madnani-our second stay with them. Simply beautiful and warm and responsive hosts. We love this place-great location and within walking distance of many shops, beaches, restaurants, etc. The view and ocean front location plus a lanai facing the ocean to enjoy the sunset/sunrise each day. Couldn't have been a nicer stay-next time at least two weeks! Well equipped with most everything we needed with nice apartment size refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, etc.

Yelp
This location are all individually-owned condos ranging from studios to two bedrooms. Some units had their own washer and dryers. Valley Isle Resorts is located about 7 miles North of the main town of Lahaina. It's right on the beach front and every unit has a view of the ocean with a balcony. There is a pool, which we took advantage of during some evenings. We were in Room 909, which is a one-bedroom condo on the 9th floor. There is a queen bed in the bedroom and a Murphy's bed out in the living room. We ended up using the bedroom as storage space for our clothing, etc. and instead sleeping on the Murphy's bed. We enjoyed the fresh air coming through and the sound of the ocean as we relaxed in bed. There is no AC but it isn't needed. There was always a constant breeze and a ceiling fan. There was a small dining table, which I only used to fold laundry on. We ate all our meals out on the balcony. The kitchen is fully stocked. We cooked breakfast every morning to start our day. The breakfast restaurants all get very packed with long lines and wait times. We rather not have to deal with that. There is a garbage... errr.. rubbish chute down the hall on each floor, which is quite convenient. The recycling is on the bottom floor and items need to be separated. Overall, we were quite happy with our stay here. We met quite a few people from all over the world and it was an added bonus. Check-in was easy and staff here are very friendly and accomodating. As a side note, we went on zillow and one bedrooms units are selling for $525,000. Ick!

Yelp
Stay at this place because of the location. Every unit has an ocean view. The beach is small but very nice and the water is warm with plenty of things to see when snorkeling. We enjoyed our stay. The view from our room made up for anything negative about the place. The resort has units that are privately owned and can be rented out through management companies and it also has units that are owned by timeshare companies - there are various ways to stay at this location. PROS: - During our stay the surf was calm enough for kids to safely swim and play. - The rooms have excellent views. Faces the west for sunset views. - Free onsite parking - Our unit had a washer/dryer (I bet most units have this) - Walking distance to restaurants and surf shops (where you can rent snorkeling gear etc) - Full kitchen with dishwasher in our room - Our unit slept 4 people (one bedroom unit with a queen bed in the bedroom and a murphy bed in the livingroom) - Friendly staff - Grounds are well-kept with a nice lawn area for children to play on CONS: - During our stay, the surf wasn't strong enough for boogie boarding or surfing. - Barely any amenities at the resort. During our stay they did not have chairs or umbrellas or beach toys to check out from the front desk, for example. - There used to be a gym but not any more - The elevator is finicky and broke twice during our stay - Balconies on high floors are a bit dangerous for children - Strong winds make a lot of noise coming through the building

Yelp
The views, the staff and the cleanliness were spot on. Great location and I felt pretty safe there.

Yelp
This place is a collection of condos owned and operated by different individuals, so the quality of your rooms will vary depending on who you rent from. So, this review will just be a general review of the property. First, there is a beautiful view of the ocean from any of the condos. I saw whales from my room on the first day! There is a beach right in front of the property-- it's not the best beach on the islands by any stretch, but it is a great spot to watch the sunset. There is a pool on the property which is open till 10 p.m. It's a great amenity to have as it gives you something to do after the sun goes down. There are grills and picnic tables that are available for use, and there are two washing machines ($1.75/load) and two dryers ($1.50/load) available on the third floor. It looks like there are two options for condos-- one has a bedroom, living area, and kitchen, while the other type is a studio (with full kitchen). The property was kept clean, and you can constantly see maintenance cleaning and improving the property. Now, the big negative: ROACHES. The room, though it was very clean, unfortunately had some small roaches. You can also see some outside of the property occasionally (and we're talking the island gigantic variety). One more thing that affected our stay (and this would not be an issue for most) was that there was a huge rain during our stay, and the property is graded such that any water that entered the breezeway ended up pooling in front of our door and entering into the condo. Definitely something that needs to be fixed.

Yelp
Third condo in three years. Third time IS the charm!!! We're ready to book our vacation for next year in the exact same unit. THIS is what we've been looking for: location, views and simple amenities. Our unit (and the complex as a whole) is a bit dated, and the concrete block exterior isn't very appealing. But we both giggled when we opened the front door and saw the ocean, Molokai, and hardly anything else. We haven't had the doors and windows completely closed since we arrived a week ago. We peeked in other units and they look similar. We love the beach, have super easy access to Lahaina, Kapalua, Honolua and more, and are far more pleased than when we stayed at Black Rock. Full kitchen, washer and dryer, and a fine pool. They appear to be preparing to rebuild the reception area damaged in a fire, but the noise never bothered us. The ocean is THE thing, and this has it dialed in!

Yelp
Rooms are amazing. Going to sleep to the sound of ocean waves is only surpassed by waking up to the morning light and sound of ocean waves. A very short walk from our 11th floor unit to a quaint little beach perfect for watching the sunset and rolling in the crashing waves. So, so convenient. Plus, only a 5 minute drive and you're at a little beach with bigger waves for body surfing. Great location, free, close parking and walk to grocery/liquor store made this a wonderful trip!

Yelp
Perfect! Our Vacation Internationale condo was awesome. Very clean. The views are incredible, right on the beach. There was plenty of sandy beach while we were there July 01 2019. Even though there is not air conditioning, just know that if you open the patio doors and the front door( yes, there is a screen ) the breeze flows through. Keep the drapes closed during the mid day to keep the sun out. Pool is nice. Will definitely book a stay here again

Yelp
I had Hawaiian airline miles that I wanted to use. But if I wanted to use it I needed an inexpensive place to stay at, because staying in Hawaii tends to get very expensive after car rentals and Food to eat and so on. We have searched different hotels and their rates and it gets pretty pricey when we are staying in Hawaii for quite some time. Came across Valley Aisle Located on the Island of Maui, the prices was pretty good for the amount of time we stayed there being that its a fully furnished condo owned by a very friendly couple. Its a one bedroom one bathroom condo. The day we got there it was breath taking once we opened the door seeing the beautiful view of the ocean. The condo is very clean the owners have people come by to keep it clean and maintained. This condo was as if we were staying in a hotel room but much better for a really good price. It is on the 8th floor and the balcony faces the ocean allowing you sit there to watch the sun rise/ and set. It would be definitely a great place to stay for whale watching, but unforunately we went did not go during whale season. The next time we plan a vacation in Hawaii we are going during whale season and choosing this place to stay at again. On top of the table there was a wonderful greeting into the condo, the owners also had suggestions to places for you to go to if you do not know what to do in Maui.

Yelp
This resort is awesome. Great views, great customer service, clean & comfortable furniture and cool decor. I literally jumped up and down with excitement upon checking into our room. It's that awesome! I can't wait to stay here again in December.

Yelp
We have a timeshare here. We always seem to get the unit that people can see straight into from the walkways. The wind goes through the building with a howl. The pool loses the sun by noon. The good news is the beach is great, and the sea turtles mate about 50 feet away.

Brad W.

Yelp
ok this review is for the onsite management team. The resort itself is excellent and have stayed there 4 times before this time. we traveled to kona before the virus hit and the aloha attitude was great then we went to maui and our favorite resort just as the closures stated happening. the aloha spirit drasticaly changed here. from just being rude and obnoxious. my first run in with this was the office staff as we walked into the office to let them know we were there and to get parking pass the young lady was very rude shook her hand at us and pointed to sign on the desk that said one person in office then ran to the back wall till everybody left, then i got the pass, did not say a word to us, we felt as we were leapers, then daughter inlaw walked in and was ignored as somebody else walked in and was greeted as a long lost friend. she said she felt discriminated against. Son in law was not allowed to get on elevator as some lady in uniform snapped at him and said 1 person per elevator so he just let her go her way. i got schooled by an employee because i used my had to hold open elevator door as it started to close while getting in with luggage. all in all these people were not nice at all. Do not recommend valley isle till these clowns are replaced. i also want to say that the aloha spirit is dead in maui at the time of this review

Yelp
VALLEY ISLE RESORT, CONDO #109 Here is a space from which you can fully experience YOURSELF while experiencing Hawaii as simply and authentically as if from a beach house. It seems almost that Spartan, at first, and might disappoint those more inclined towards luxurious cocoons and only a passive experience of being there... ... But, those who would enjoy seeing Molokai awakening in the morning across the water, hearing Mynas, Sparrows, and Spotted Doves singing choruses to the sunrise, the gamboling of delighted children playing old fashioned games, and then kissing the sun goodnight with reds over a glass of wine or tea ... will be thrilled. It also only took me minutes to realize how perfect this would be for a band of young surfers and divers to hang out after a day of frolic. While I am much too old for that, I enjoyed being inspired by those who weren't. The owners have tastefully and sensibly equipped the apartment with everything you need and nothing you would want to steal in a way that brilliantly, if subtly, encourages you to cultivate directly your feeling, smelling, tasting, hearing and seeing the actual Maui shore that is literally only steps away across a lawn that looks, feels and smells like it had just come from the Augusta National. The furnishings do not intimidate and are easy to move. The couch converts to a bed if you want to sleep with the surf, but we really enjoyed the quiet of the bedroom in the back. There's a fabulous shower. M'lady commented often on the exceptional lighting and mirroring near the dressing area sink. We absolutely loved the place, its peace and quiet, the congeniality of the other guests. And maybe this is also largely because we are quite happy with knowing ourselves and are particularly open to experiencing the real thing first and the resort only in background. But even if you are not yet so comfortable with your simply being yourselves but would like to give it a try, this is a very good place to start.

Yelp
Have stayed at several of the resorts in Kahana over the years. This one is a little older but well maintained. Pool is set a little far from the ocean, but it's ok. The beach is tough to beat. Would stay here again.

Yelp
We booked through Hotels.com. Arrived late at the unit to a foul smell and a loud whistling sound. Went to air it out an discovered the slider to the balcony in the master bedroom was open and unable to lock. We stayed about 10 minutes and left. We have been trying to get a refund ever since, but they are refusing to give anything - we never stayed there one night and the room was UNSAFE, not to mention in a complete different location then was on the map at Hotels.com - more than 5 miles out of town where we were there to visit family staying in Lahaina, we had not intended on getting a vehicle and had shuttled into Lahaina to find our hotel was at all the location between Baby Beach and the Banyon Tree as indicated on Hotels.com website where we booked. I am asking for at least 6 of the 7 days reimbursed - they are refusing to do anything

Yelp
My husband planned a surprise birthday trip to the island of Maui, and boy was it a big one! In looking for a place to stay,  I was recommended to take a look at a Corner Of Paradise http://www.cornerofparadise.com, and I am glad I did! Once I made the reservations, I promptly received a detailed email laying out all the amenities that would be provided, (which were many) as well as explicit instructions about who to see for parking when we arrived. Also included was a list of their favorite places to eat which ran the gamut from casual to high end dining. We discovered a few memorable dining experiences on our own as well which I highly recommend (The Mill House & Miso Phat). When we arrived at rental 1101, I couldn't have been more pleased. All that was described in the photos couldn't have been more spot on. The condo was pristine and felt very warm and inviting, the view from the balcony as we sat and enjoyed a glass of wine couldn't have been more picturesque. The grounds are impeccable and the beach really nice. It was a sad moment when we left but our stay in Maui will be a memorable one. We will come back again for sure.

Jessica S.

Yelp
We were a little unsure of what to expect when we booked a condo on the beach in Maui. We hadn't been to Maui before, and we hoped we were going the right avenue with getting a condo instead of a hotel. With meals being expensive, we found it important to have a nice kitchen area in hopes of making breakfast/lunch "in" every day in order to save money. We were absolutely delighted when we rolled into suite 408 after a long flight from Cincinnati, Ohio. Not only was the unit newly renovated (new carpet), it was very clean and had a nice home feeling to it. The views of the condo were absolutely out of this world. I was a bit worried about the units at Valley Isle not having air conditioning, but it wasn't at all a problem. With all windows and the screen door open, there was a nice breeze flowing through the unit at all times. We liked how the two bedroom doors had a closed off bathroom. Because we were staying with another couple, this extra privacy was very nice. My favorite area was the balcony off of the master bedroom. We had the screen door open at all times and slept to the sounds of the ocean waves rolling onto the beach. Talk about perfection! The kitchen was very nice and well stocked. There were even some fun kitchen gadgets that we don't even have at home! We used the washer/dryer twice and it worked very well. On top of all that - condo 408 is a FANTASTIC place to watch a beautiful sunset. I think part of the reason the condo felt so much like home was because of all the items that were already stocked in the condo: binoculars for whale watching, board games, books, CD guide for the "Road to Hana," wine glasses, phones, fax machine, wireless, internet, hair dryers, ironing boards, extra towels, etc. We felt right at home from the moment we got into 408. The Valley Isle resort is very nice and we were pleased with the pool area and the beach. While there aren't ample chairs at the beach, we certainly never had problems finding one. There were many times we had the entire pool area to ourselves in the afternoon which was fun. We never used the grill, but saw people over there from time to time and it looked like a nice setup. Valley Isle is conveniently located and close to Kanapali (sp?) and Lahaina. It was a quick drive to Front Street and Whalers Village where we enjoyed many wonderful evening dinners. Prior to our stay in condo 408, we had a few phone conversations/emails with the owner, Kenn. What a friendly gentleman. He even left a packet of information with his recommendations on local restaurants, shops, places to swim, etc. We had a great time in Maui and a great time in Kenn's suite (408)!
