Enjoyed our meal and our waitress was super attentive and friendly! It was nice to have traditional pub menu as well as Mexican menu. It was delicious and the outdoor atmosphere added to our enjoyable experience.

Stopped in after a hike. It was October shortly after 1 pm. Not very busy (got busier closer to two). We could sit anywhere so we picked a seat by the window to look out over the pond. The service was great, everyone was friendly and we were waited on quickly. The burgers were good. Minus one star because the onion rings didn't seem all that fresh. They were not as warm as the fries. We would visit again. We did notice that as the place started to fill up a little it did get louder in there, so something to think about if you want a quick lunch/dinner. Photos of a plain old cheeseburger. The other is avocado grilled cheese burger (or something like that).

Google
1/27/24 first time here. I did read a bunch of reviews, so thanks to all. I did get a bit nervous about some of the food reviews. Four of us came here for dinner. So i got the jalapeno burger and that was decent. One of the guys bought the appetizer sampler for the table and that was really good, even though I'm trying to not eat fried food. I'll certainly recommend the appetizer sampler. They had a decent selection of beer. Service was good too. I'd say just be careful of what you order if you are nervous about the overall menu.

Google
Pricey for mid range burgers. Not a lot of options in the area are open in the off seasons. Service was good

Google
Food is awful tastes like it’s straight out of a freezer at a grocery store. The marinara tasted like tomato paste. The wings tasted like soap. The fries had no salt. Chicken nuggets were dry and had zero flavor.

Google
Staff was great. Food came out super quick. We had a southwest burger and wings. Both were tasty

Google
Had both breakfast and dinner there. Both meals were delicious. Service was good as well.

Austin Sloop

Google
Staff was friendly and quick, breakfast had good scalloped hash browns but the rest of the food was exceptionally okay. Prices are as expected for the convenience of dining in the Valley, but there's much better food a short drive towards town.

Yelp
We came here for lunch, my mother ordered a chicken salad sandwich, when it arrived it was egg salad. She mentioned that she ordered chicken salad, the person that brought it was not the one who took our order and was immediately said "ok, we will make it right". A minute later the girl who did take or order arrives and says in a really moody way, "you ordered egg salad" to which my said that she doesn't eat eggs so she would never order that...the girl snarkily replied "well...that's what you ordered and stormed off". We were shocked, she was so rude, and to her, clearly, she's never messed up an order and the customer is wrong. My mom got her corrected order, and we finished the meal, the entire time, each moment the waitress walked by she glared at my mom (who by the way is 70 years old). When she came to give us the bill, she slammed it in front of my mom and had her hand inches from her face. At this time, I took the bill and went to find the manager. In front of her I explained that her whole attitude from start to finish was unacceptable. The was she barked at her then level of aggression toward my mom when she brought the bill was not OK. I highlighted how the other two waitstaff were friendly and she should take notes from them. Needless to say we never went back the erst of the time in the Valley which is unfortunate since there are only like 2 food options.

Yelp
We had lunch at this quaint restaurant. First of all the servings are huge. I got a bowl of soup they seemed like a serving bowl. I had the New England clam chowder which was delicious but not very hot. My daughter had the broccoli cheese soup and my other one got the side dish of linguine with tomato sauce. My hubby got the triple decker chicken salad with bacon. The only downfall I asked three times for butter and by the time I got it the potato was cold

Yelp
Please avoid this place at all costs! Place is a rip off. I paid 25 bucks for a frozen burger and fries. The worst part my wife has a dairy allergy and asked if she could do a grilled chicken sandwich with a safe bun. Waiter said no problem. We noticed our baby was really off the next day we went back and asked the manager and he said no buns there were dairy free. Guy didn't even apologize just shrugged it off. Never again!

Gilles B.

Yelp
I agree with one of the reviewers. The burgers were dry and tasted like they were previously frozen. When asked how we wanted our burgers cooked, we asked for medium. They areived all well done. Have to add that the waitress was nice.

Yelp
BEST HUEVOS RANCCHEROS east of Pecos River. The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog.

Yelp
Don't bother.... Seriously. Ordered the Valley Combo and an additional order of Buffalo Wings. Just horrible. Frozen crappy junk food. Gross!!!!

Mike L.

Yelp
Had I seen the 2.5 stars beforehand I would not have even bothered coming here. Ordered an omelette with egg, cheese, tomato, and pepper. First time it came out it had onions in it. Asked to have it remade with no onions. Came out again still with onions. The staff have no clue what's going on. The service is slow and inattentive. Our waiter was either sitting on his phone or standing around shooting the shit with the other staff. We had to get up from the table to go over and remind him to bring our drinks. We noticed another table had to send someone up to the bar to remind them that they need their food. The place was practically empty so no excuse for slow and inattentive waiters. The food is way overpriced (though not unexpected at a ski resort). I paid $17 for an oj and an avocado wrap. Save yourself the trouble and skip this place.

Yelp
So unfortunate since this place is right in the town. They re-did it and it looks beautiful and I'm sure it's still a great spot for drinks. The service was excellent and the staff were attentive. However the food was so gross. We ordered the fries app with the cheese and gravy - it had no flavor or seasoning. I got the soup of the day and a salad and the soup was super watery and also had no flavor- very bland. My boyfriend ordered Buffalo wings and it tasted so odd. I've had better frozen wings from the grocery store. I would skip having any food here and maybe come for drinks!

Yelp
We've only tried the apps so far. They were okay. Food on the menu kind of pricey for what they're offering.

Yelp
My two kids and I had an enjoyable lunch here. The portions are large, particularly the kids' ones. One son got the turkey, which came with fries, a baked potato, and some sautéed veggies. Turkey was decent, sautéed veggies also decent. Baked potato was excellent and fries got his thumbs up. Other son got the chicken fingers, which were excellent. I had the chicken pita wrap, which was also very good. Solid pub fare. The service was nice, but we were a bit past the lunch crowd and the restaurant was pretty quiet. The interior looks recently remodeled. It's "interestingly designed" in a manner that will look dated and off in a few years.

Yelp
Head high hopes for the Valley Pub & Restaurant, came here just a month after opening and hope to have some really good food here in the valley. It was a very quiet afternoon, we came for lunch and we're the only guests in the restaurant. The menu seemed really big, with choices for almost everyone. Strangely I could not make a decision on what to order. I ordered a chicken dish with rice, it came with a lot of cheese on top, not what I expected from what I had ordered. My dining companion ordered a burger and fries and a part from an oversized bun, enjoyed his meal. I had hoped that the food would be exceptional, but unfortunately it just wasn't. The service was not that great either, the one waiter treated us like we wanted to be left alone. As a Valley resident, I have high hopes that this restaurant will improve over time. I hope they decide to focus their menu a bit more on a few things that will be extraordinary, rather than having a lot of things that are ordinary or worse.

Yelp
And me and my family were totally blown away by the post office and the food. I have never been to a restaurant where I've waited for water for a long as we did, our alcohol beverages , chocolate milk with lunch, and when our food finally came out after waiting 40 minutes for it it came out cold. Our food only came out to our table because my husband went to the door of the kitchen after 40 minutes of just waiting for the food. We waited 20-25 minutes for water and alcohol beverages and then another 40 minutes for food and our food had been sitting on the table in the kitchen, and just not served to us. People are coming in and ordering takeout and getting served their food right away. Probably one of the worst restaurants I've ever been to.

Yelp
My wife and I were in Waterville Valley for the weekend and we ate lunch 3 times at Valley Pub & Restaurant and loved it every time! My wife has food allergies and the staff was very responsive to that and took great care with her meals. She told the waiter, Luis, about her list of allergies and asked for the sliced turkey, lettuce, cucumbers and a baked potato. It arrived at our table and it looked great! I had a grilled chicken BLT and it was really good, the chicken was done perfectly and the sandwich was huge! It is so great that they also serve breakfast because there was such a need for that in Waterville Valley. We spoke to the owner, Fernando, on our last visit of the weekend and he was very kind and told us how great his staff is. When we were there on Saturday, it was very busy and the staff was literally running to make sure that everyone was seated and served. The restaurant location is excellent because they are in Town Square, next to the pond and with the inside and outside seating available, it is perfect. The staff and the food are excellent!

Yelp
Well sadly, we're down to one star. Figured we would give it another shot for just drinks. After sitting at the bar for about 10 minutes we finally put our drink orders in. As our drinks were being poured, the keg tapped. No big deal, it happens. But the bartenders didn't say a thing to us and we waited over 10 more minutes until we finally got our beers. Finished the first round and waited over 10 minutes until I finally had to call them over and ask for a second. Finished the second round, and had to wait almost 10 more minutes before I called them over again and asked for the check. We were two of six people at the restaurant so it's not like they were slammed. Disappointing service.

Yelp
Been going to Waterville Valley for years. Been to Hacienda 1 time because we always went to Mulligans. Now that Mulligans is The Valley Pub we go to Waterville Pizza. We've been to The Valley Pub 2 or 3 times because we wanted to give it a chance. Each time the service was not good and the food was very expensive. You have the best location in the village with prime visibility. Please, figure out how to turn this into an inviting restaurant that people want to come back to.

Yelp
I've been here several times in multiple seasons. I'm sitting here currently waiting for a server to check in after having my food dropped off about 30 min ago. The service here is atrocious. We and another nearby table are trying to flag down someone to bring a check. The food is bland and inconsistent. Bagels aren't bagels. I've had better broccoli cheddar soup in a hospital cafeteria. People are waiting out the door while nobody brings our checks and clears our tables. This restaurant has almost zero competition. And it acts like it. Drive out of the valley if you can.

Yelp
Recommendation: eat at the bar. Service and French burger we're awesome in every way.

Yelp
I would not suggest eating here. I had got the chicken scampi plate and came back to the hotel sick as a dog with food poisoning.

Yelp
I'm not sure what to say about this place. I don't want to be their first review and give them one star. They had really good fries and beers on tap and their staff was nice. The problem is.... their menu specifically says the burgers come with fries, 2 onion rings, pickles tomatoes and lettuce. Im writing this because... No onion rings. No pickles. Why write it if you can't do it. Just leave it off the menu. You're a new restaurant and can write you're own future. It's a ski resort area for f's sake. You have a captive audience. Don't over promise and under deliver. Bad form.

Donna P.

Yelp
Pros: friendly and attentive staff. Outdoor seating and game room inside. Waffle fries were yummy. Cons: the food was absolutely horrible especially for the absurd price we paid. I'm not a picky eater by any means. We each ordered a cheesesteak that was on their specials list... barely any steak on it. It was all mushrooms. The bread was hard and small too. the cheesesteak was $18!!!! I've never paid that much for a cheesesteak in my life. They had a chicken Caesar salad wrap on the specials list for $18 too. ABSOLUTELY ABSURD PRICING. My husband and I come to the valley every other month or so and are so disappointed with the food here. We will not be returning. We did dinner at coyote grill and the bill was cheaper there than our lunch here!!

Yelp
Extensive menu, great food and perfect location right on Cocoron's Pond. Nice out door seating option pending season and convenient location for visiting hockey teams being connected to the rink with close camera large screens of the games as they are on going.
google avatar

Tilde O.

Yelp
Absolutely lovely staff and a nice atmosphere. Good beer from tap and fair prices. Cocktails are good too. Both the times we have been eating there we have been really disappointed by the food. Coleslaw tasted horrible, buns were directly out of the freezer and the beef patty was not satisfying. The bar is 4 stars, staff is 5 stars, food is 1 star.

Yelp
Our Association had about 35 people meet at the Valley Pub & Restaurant the night before our Ski Day at Waterville Valley and were so appreciative of the excellent service and food. They even stayed open a little later than normal to accommodate us. The crew was a little overwhelmed with the amount of people, but they were professional, courteous and went above and beyond. Thank you to Fernando and his crew!!

Yelp
Our friends and our children came here on a busy Saturday night. Atmosphere is good, and drinks are fine, but food is horrible. We asked for hot dogs for the kids and they were served spicy kielbasa instead. We then said, could we just get chicken fingers for them and could they come out quickly (because getting our meal was painfully slow). They brought the chicken fingers out and they were still frozen in the middle. Most of us got salads and drinks for each of us and bill was way too much for the type and quality of food. Would not recommend.

Chris G.

Yelp
Stay away! Went on a Saturday afternoon with a party of 8. The servers tried but just could not keep up. Food was less than basic. One person in the group ordered a chicken salad sandwich. It came of bland white bread with lettuce, no chips, no pickle, no tomatoes. Only good thing was the fries.

R M.

Yelp
Had a very good takeout dinner from here. Chicken kebab with side Greek salad and chicken breast garden salad. I agree the prices are a little high for the area but the portions were generous and the food was really good! Chicken in particular was excellent.

Raimonds D.

Yelp
The apps were ok, but the service was the worst run restaurant we have ever experienced. We left without ordering lunch because it was such a disaster.

Yelp
the food here is barely edible. the re-fried the french fries and it is obvious. the burgers are horrendous and its the main thing they serve. oh and dont get me started on service. you cant get their attention to get water even when its not very busy. they give you 2 onion rings with your burger, and that is the best part of the meal. I cant understand how they stay in business when the food is so bad. you're better off getting in your car and driving down a couple of exits to Plymouth if you don't want to overpay for bad food. but if you are gonna stay in Waterville valley, I hear that Coyote Grill is excellent. but i havent tried it. but avoid this Valley pub at all cost. but if you go, avoid the burgers. maybe salad would be ok since you dont need to cook anything.

Elaine M.

Yelp
So far we have tried the grilled cheese and tomato, grilled cheese and bacon, french fries and eggs benedict. Everything has been very good. The home fries served with the benedict were excellent. I love that they have breakfast all day. Service has been excellent.
