Valley Views Glamping

Fairy lights, the fire crackling, staring up into the beautiful night sky drinking a hot cuppa - while seeing an incredible Aurora storm… what a magical stay we had at Valley Views. Luxurious bedding, beautiful outdoor baths, and the most glorious view of the valley. The next morning we had a beautiful cooked breakfast and enjoyed the most wonderful conversation with Patrick and Amber - you don’t find better hosts than here. Absolutely stunning place to stay, hosts are warm and inviting. Location is scenic and peaceful. Amenities are 10/10 and supply everything you could need. Recommend if you’re making your own meal to stop at Kurow or oamaru on the way through so you don’t have to leave. Breakfast was supplied and was many options to choose from. The domes are just magical- well appointed, private, with luxury bedding, a fire to keep warm, and views to die for.

Valley Views is one of my favorite spots to getaway, so good for the soul and the most amazing custodians of that land as well. The view is just incredible, the domes delightful, outdoor baths are next level and the accommodation is beyond your expectations. I’ve stayed as a guest & ran my retreat there, both absolutely exceptional experiences.

Patrick and his family define warmth and welcome. From the moment you set foot on their property, he’s there with a huge smile, sharing in your joy of simply being there. Each yurt is totally private and they are decorated for comfort and romance. Think fairy lights off the grid kind of ambiance. Hot bath? Sure, there are 4 outdoor bathtubs, each with its own gas water heater. Room 4? You’ve stumbled into the honeymoon suite and you’ve got your own bathtub. Shared showers super clean and lots of hot water. And the views from the yurts are endless; rolling greens and yellows and cows and sheep. Beds are warm and cozy and we slept like we hadn’t in weeks. We ate on site in their wonderful dining room and food was plentiful and fabulous. This is truly what off grid glamping aspires to. Epic.

What an amazing experience! Amber and Patrick were the perfect hosts - couldn’t do enough for us. The setting, the domes, the amenities and the service we received were all exceptional. We also enjoyed a 4x4 guided tour of the family farm with Slim which was awesome - another great photo opportunity. The outdoor baths - take a coffee or a wine - such a treat and again what a view. Valley Views Glamping was the highlight of our trip to NZ - give it a go - absolutely fantastic. Thanks Amber and Patrick for your amazing hospitality ❤️

We so enjoyed our stay at valley views glamping. It was our favourite accommodation of our whole trip… everything was the so clean and comfortable. Wonderful service and welcoming hosts and the views are so beautiful. My brother and his partner enjoyed the baths as well. Great for the whole family as the room was mostly baby proof except for the fire. Would definitely stay again.

This was our second time staying at valley views and definitely won’t be our last! This is such a peaceful, beautiful place to stay in an amazing part of the world. The home cooked dinner add on was yet again a 10/10. Anyone making a trip to the South Island of New Zealand must stay here!! A truely all round amazing experience.

Better than we had imagined, people are great, we had the in house roast dinner, it was superb, the best lamb shanks we've ever had.|Outside baths were something special and the domes are warm, beautiful fitted out and have stunnng views. |A must do, can't recommend this place highly enough.
