Gorgeous little corner! One of the bars makes proper espresso coffee too. Clean and lovely to visit. To one side is access to the sea where I would start my swim back to plage des Catalans. Kid friendly around that part and great for adults to venture out.

Charming harbor in the downtown This place deserves a visit. Quite close to the old port (shorter than 30’ walking), you’ll find a charming harbor seemingly entering deep in the downtown. You can walk along the wharfs enjoy a glass or a nice dinner. If you go on 150 meters on the right side you’ll reach the seafront with a nice view on the bay, especially at sunset. Do not try to get very close by car, it’s almost impossible to park.

A small and traditional fishing village, born just below a viaduct, in the 19th century. It is located along the Kennedy Corniche, the splendid promenade named after the American president, which rises just outside the Old Port and the center of Marseille. it is possible to admire the small pastel-colored fishermen's houses, the lined up boats, all colored and the water with a thousand shades as a frame. A truly fascinating and evocative place. Undoubtedly among the most picturesque in the city. if you want to take a postcard photo you have to pop into this little gem. you can reach it on foot or by city bus.

Visiting Vallons des Aufons, the charming fishing village in Marseille, was an absolutely fantastic experience. Nestled along the picturesque coast, this little place radiates an authentic and welcoming atmosphere that left a lasting impression. Strolling through its quaint streets, I was captivated by the genuine warmth of the locals and their rich fishing traditions, the aroma of grilled fish wafted from seaside restaurants, tempting my taste buds.

Beautiful hidden port with scenic views. Great place to eat at a restaurant or simply stroll around. The area includes the beautiful 3 arched Pont des Auffes, a bridge built in the 19th century, and the Porte d'orient, a monument commemorating an army that fought alongside the allied power in the first world war.

Beautiful area, wish I’d found it before my last day in the city. Nice place to sit by the water, immerse yourselves amongst the locals or grab a meal at one of the nearby restaurants

Nice spot to visit. We biked there with lime and it was easy to park there the bikes and walk around the area and take some pics.

Scenic fishing village with less crowd that's accessible by bus. Crystal clear water.
