Valmarana Villa To The Dwarfs Vicenza

While villa has a few beautiful frescos and ornate furniture, for the most part it is quite small and can be finished very quickly. The gardens unfortunately were not kept in good shape and not impressive. Considering the price of the ticket felt overpiced for what was offered.

Beautiful Villa. Located on top of a hill, beautifully kept and decorated on the inside with antique furniture and frescos which take you back in time. The gardens of the villa are well taken care of and have lots of green areas, flowers and roses. The villa is surrounded by woods and gardens therefore the views from both the villa and gardens look like paintings. Very panoramic. The villa has always belonged to the Valmarana family. Tickets can be bought on site and they have leaflets in different languages with explanations of each room that can be visited.

Wonderful! A real home. And the forestry building is facinating. The gardens are well planted and labelled too. Well worth a visit and a stroll. I walked from La Rotunda up to Valmarana Villa along a path (about 5-10mins) then after visiting the lovely house, walked back down to La Rotunda and the car park through the gardens.

To be honest, we only went because it was Monday and everywhere was closed in Vicenza. What a mistake that woukd have been! The frescoes in the main house and some of the best I have seen and tell such wonderful stories. It's a little expensive but well worth getting the audio guide.

Really cute villa with nice paintings in different rooms and a great view. However, none of it can justify the extraordinarily high entrance fee. You can visit both the Basilica and the main gallery in Vicenza less than this place.

Very beautiful point for tourists visiting. Nice small museums villas, with beautiful interior and exterior. Not big.

Beautiful villa. Super well-kept grounds. Nice historic exhibits and also residences if you want to rent out a place. Nice bathrooms. Cafe with good selection.

Villa Valmarana ai Nani is lesser known than ita close neighbor, the Villa Rotonda. However, the villa is very beautiful, with very picturesque gardens. What I found to be more impressive, in terms of interior spaces, is the secondary house for guests with the inter-connected rooms and the views towards the valley. The staff is super nice and friendly, and the place also has a bar/terraces with snacks and drink, a very important aspect considering the fact that the place ia quite remote.
