Valparaiso Cultural Park

Ex-jail renovated to historic sites and opened for cultural activities, studies, etc. You will see the history of how it opened as a museum and some old part makes us feel the dark old days as a jail.... Open to public, something like 9:00-17:00.

Really amazing space with excellent exhibitions. The coffee shop is good too. One of the best views we found of Valparaiso and the harbour. Nice grass area to chill too.

Cute park with a nice city view. Came here around sunset & it was pleasant to just walk around, sit & relax.

I can't tell how is the place because i didnt manage to get there but the way shown on google maps seemed extremely dangerous and deserted. You walk through some empty alleys and stairs full of trash and it's easy to get lost. No signs about the place even if you are close. I was 5 min away but I decided to turn around and leave because it seemed too spooky. I advise tourists to avoid it.

Loved this park. Tons of arts and exercise classes and well kept. Definitely a good use of an old prison.

It's a nice place, but it needs a permanent museum or display

Architecture buffs and anyone interested in the history of Valparaíso would enjoy a stop here. Very well done repurposing of old jail that now contains a wide variety of spaces for cultural activities. Lots of different things going on here every day, including things like photography exhibits. There is a nice cafe and restaurant that I haven't tried yet but it is on my list.

Wonderfully landscaped contemporary grounds which afford great vistas to the rest of the city below.
