Vandal

I went to vandal twice and this place is a pure gem on all counts! First, the food. The sandwiches are simply incredible. The quality of the ingredients, the innovative and stunning, well-balanced recipes, the presentation and the quantity are just to die for. The bread is amazing and holds on (it looks hard to eat but it's not). All the flavours are there and equalizing perfectly to give amazing sandwiches you will remember for sure. I tried the 'boulette' (the banger sandwich there!) and the egg sandwich, there were simply amazing with a lot more ingredients that sublime the sandwiches. The crumble cake -homemade everyday - was also unbelievably good. Btw, you can see the chef preparing the sandwiches almost in front of you with the open kitchen. Second, the atmosphere, it's cosy and minimalist, it's very warm inside and very relaxed while being very neat and beautiful. Third, the staff. Don't hesitate to talk with the chef (who is the co-business owner btw) and his wife (the other co-business owner), both in their 30's. They are fairly talkative if you are open to talk, and will proudly but also modestly elaborate on their project/business, where the ingredients are coming from etc. if you wonder how come what you are eating is so unique and simply delicious. And they will also talk further non-cuisine related topics such as music, art, the neighbourhood and so on, if you wish. Fourth, the cleanliness of the place. It is simply spotless. Rarely I have seen a food-providing place that clean! Fifth, the music. It simply plays from a smartphone on a marshall speaker but the tunes are the owners' choices and it's trendy and eclectic (I love music so was particularly happy to discover some new very cool tunes while I was there). All in all, if you are around (or not), if you plan to walk around in the buttes chaumont parc, definitely plan your meals accordingly to stop by for truly delicious food in a comforting but still minimalistic place with great people. Manger un sandwich délicieusement coquin, dans un endroit propre et épuré, en écoutant un album de GZA, c'est là. Tout est bon : le pain est légèrement brioché, doré, tous les condiments sont justes et vifs, produits frais, quantité parfaite (gros mangeur ici) Et 18 € pour un dessert de patissier (crémeux citron cacahuète) + un gros sandhich + boisson c'est le bon prix.

Une adresse à sandwich qu'il faut tester ! Le pain est vraiment bon Les préparations sont gourmandes La recette végétarienne est un 10/10. Je l'ai adoré. Celle de la viande hachée avec les boulettes est parfaite pour l'hiver Les desserts sont bons, un peu trop healthy à mon goût, mais bien équilibrés Je trouve juste regrettable qu'il n'y aie aucun sides. J'avais encore très faim après un sandwich et un dessert. Bon courage à vous pour le développement

Un accueil sympathique et des sandwichs délicieux : originaux et super bien équilibrés ! Les sauces sont dingues. J’ai goûté celui à la spicy sardine et celui aux boulettes : rien à dire ! Même les desserts sont délicieux. Foncez y ! En tout cas moi j’y retournerai :)

Deuxième passage chez Vandal. On est tous les deux conquis ! Après le sandwich dinde gochujang exquis, on se régale de nouveau avec un sandwich boulette tombé du ciel. Les produits sont frais et vous ne trouverez rien d’industriel là bas. Les propriétaires sont visiblement passionnés et leur accueil est chaleureux. Un régal donc à la fois gustatif mais aussi humain ! Allez vous régaler sans hésiter, l’adresse est plus que validée !

Petite sandwicherie a deux pas des buttes Chaumont avec 8 places en intérieur, parfaite pour prendre a emporter et se régaler aux Buttes. Les sandwichs sont ultra saveurs, très punchy et originaux. On peut trouver pour tous les goûts: végétarien, a la viande, au poisson. On peut prendre des formules avec boisson et/ou dessert, bref, c'est vraiment canon! Le personnel est accueillant et chaleureux, on se sent vraiment bienvenue quand on y rentre. Continuez ainsi!

On est passé un samedi où Vandal était ouvert exceptionnellement. Je suis du quartier et je n’avais pas eu l’occasion d’y aller en semaine encore. C’était excellent, j’ai pris un sandwich à la dinde et un autre aux champignons. Honnêtement niveau goût j’ai été tout de suite conquis, les recettes sont originales, pleines de saveurs ! Je recommande grandement. L’équipe est aussi très sympa. Nous reviendrons ;)
