V&S Hostel Boutique

This hostel is an excellent location, the room we stayed in was great, super comfortable. This was our first time in Buenos Aires and Cristina was a great host offering lots of suggestions of what to see and do in the area. The only negative was that we weren’t given notice that workmen were going to be doing work on our balcony - we were there on our honeymoon and I think they saw more than they expected!

Cristina is such a great host! Full of suggestions about the area, things to do around town and even other places in Argentina! The hotel is secure, in a nice part of town and the rooms are comfortable and well appointed. There’s a small kitchen upstairs with tea/coffee/mate facilities on each floor.

What a great place. First, it was very easy to find for taxis and for myself on foot. The neighbourhood may not be as lively as others at night, but I appreciated being in the centre and close to transit routes. I was able to walk to most places and take buses or subways other times. ||There is no reception desk, but the instructions on WhatsApp were impeccable and the response time excellent. On my first morning I was met by a woman who collected my cash payment and gave me lots of info about the area.||My room (w a private bathroom) was so nice and comfortable. The air conditioning was temperamental but worked when I needed it to. There was good wifi and hot water. The kitchen had fee coffee, coco, and tea.||The place was spotless.||I would 100% stay there again.

Very welcoming and accommodating host! Cristina is willing to help you discover the city and will give you recommendations for things to do. There is autonomous check in and check out options as well so you have flexibility. The location is extremely convenient and rooms are nicely decorated.

A great place to stay! The room we stayed in was simple but stylish and included a balcony as well as a separate area off of the main bedroom with a table and chairs. V&S is located near the Obelisk and Teatro Colón and is near several Subte (metro) and bus lines so it is easy to get around the city. Cristina was a fantastic host who was very attentive and shared great recommendations for things to see and do in Buenos Aires.

Ever since my arrival I was greeted by the friendliest members of staff and my roommates became good friends during their stay here. As a volunteer in Buenos Aires for 2 months, it was important to stay at a place that ticks all the boxes, and V&S really does! The central location allowed me to move comfortably through the city via public transport (subte and buses are super cheap and very useful). ||||As a vegeterian it was important that I have a place I can prepare my own meals (although there are many veggie friendly food places around, and veggie empanadas, of course!), so the kitchen here, compact and simple, provided me with all the utensils I needed for creating an enjoyable dish (even the lack of oven didn´t stop me for creating nice food). When the meal is ready, the common room is a great place to enjoy it! With an authentic atmosphere is perfect for it all - having a peaceful meal/reading a book/having a movie night or relaxing on the refreshing patio during jamming sessions or beers with the new found friends. ||||The rooms are very cozy and clean - the sheets and towels are getting changed on a weekly basis and the whole room and the bathrooms are cleaned regularely. Air conditioning is an extra bonus on a hot summer day, so the comfort is guaranteed! The showers provide both hot and cold water, are light and airy and even provide a hairdryer, and there´s plenty of shower rooms on every floor, so there will not be a need to wait for long to get your chance to shower. There´s also laundry service available for 120 pesos per laundry bag full of clothes, which is very handy for long stays!||||As I mentioned - the staff here are awesome and always welcoming you with a bright hola! Always willing to help and give advice and vouchers for different events around the town (trust me, there is something happening pretty much every night!)||||So all in all, I really appreciate this hostel being my home for 2 months and I´ll certainly miss the good vibes and people I´ve met here.

The location of the hostel is great with easy access to bus and subway. Rooms and bathrooms are really clean and similar to the pictures. Super nice receptionists who can give you tips to discover the city! Many thanks to them for the warm welcome! There's always lots of international people travelling so the atmosphere is great! I would totally recommend it for anyone looking for a nice place to stay in the center of Buenos Aires!
