Great hotel , price was nice for the area, Great staff very friendly, Rooms are in an older fashion that goes really well with the hotel style, bed was comfortable and pillows were nice big and could be shaped nicely for comfort, Breakfast was very nice and the dining area was very comfortable. I will definitely stay here the next time I'm in Mariestad,

Very un-tidy room, smell|A lot like some perfume or what every super storm smell in the room, receptionist was too lazy to come and check. Just said that all|Should be good and all ok 🙈 curtains and sheets looks either like being chewed by someone or have not been changed from previous guests. Also color of sheets (yellow/beige??) is a bit questionable, no white sheets in hotels are very strange…

We will be back - fantastic location and service. Typical Swedish hotel with its own charm. Closed to parking and numerous restaurants. Breakfast is as expected and sufficient food and spoiled for choices.

We were visiting for one night going north. We were 4 adult and 2 children so we had the "apartment" in the house besides. It was a really fantastic "apartment" with so genuine room decoration. ||||The breakfast was one of the best breakfast that I have tasted in many years, really locally made and really genuine. I can actually don't say anything negative about this hotel.

Comfortable beds, but make sure to bring earplugs because you will keep hearing a constant noise from an air valve outlet during the entire night. Very odd choices for breakfast. They offer scrambled eggs but not without added shrimp mixed in. They have two kinds of yoghurt and both of them are sugary vanilla-flavoured. Why not just have plain scrambled eggs and a natural yoghurt alternative? As soon as the staff finish their work for the day they close down the dining room, so there is absolutely no way to have a cup of evening tea, coffee, or even a glass of water. Overall, a very average hotel with an above average cost.

Fantastic staff! The hotel interior is like stepping back in time, to the late 80-ies. Fun time. Flowers on the wallpapers and fresh flowers of all types everywhere. Wonderful. Pair that with the lovely people working there, it is simply perfect. Free parking. Oh, by the way, bowles of sweets are place everywhere.

I had a room in the annex. Nice room with a balcony. Seems pretty newly renovated. Clean rooms. Fresh new bathroom. Towels clean but aged. No air condition. Nice with a patio bar but the reception feels a really dated. |I really hate that the double bed is actually two single beds that easily move apart.
