Had a wonderful meal here, met the owner, she's a riot! Would easily recommend this place, had the thai beef salad and mango sticky rice. Very real flavours that are put together by someone who actually understands Thai cooking - makes sense, as the chef runs a cooking class! I'll be back everytime I'm in Hobart.

Good food at a very fair price. The restaurant feels like a small family business in a nice way, with an update to the decor and better presentation of the menu it would polish up nicely.
A good selection of vegan options but the menu could be more clear on what is and isn't vegetarian/vegan.
Friendly and helpful staff, service suffered a little as they seem to operate on a very small team but a very pleasant experience overall.
This place has potential.

THE BEST TOM YUM I’VE EVER HAD! The taste, smell, and spiciness are just right! Can’t stop sighing in satisfaction whenever I take a sip of it 😂 The broth is quite clear, not that thick and creamy type, which is absolutely to my liking. Chicken Hot Plate tasted amazing too, we inhaled everything happily 😂 The staff is friendly, the Chef is even more welcoming. Would definitely come again!

This place is absolutely incredible. The staff are amazing and the host is a beautiful person who makes insanely delicious food! We ate here right before I went to Thailand for the New Year and I have to say that the food made by Sumana & the team at Vanidol’s is top tier! The flavours and taste is unmatched. Couldn’t recommend this place more.

The North Hobart Vanidols (there is another in South Hobart) has been in the same place for years and there's a reason it's still going strong despite all the changes on the strip and places that have come and gone. We ate here again as a group of seven tonight which was excellent. The menu has options for everyone and all the food was tasty, well presented and at the end of the meal everyone felt satisfied and week fed but not 'heavy'. The staff and the owner/host were great and made us all feel welcome. Can't wait to go back.

This is one of the best Thai restaurant I have had on my Australia trip the foods is so delicious and the owner is very friendly it’s make us feel like home. Everything perfect!! You must try if you are in Hobart!!!

Service was the only star. Waitress is new but at least attentive.
We literally had 3 pieces of foreign matter in our food. One of the plastic bags in the soup, pieces of steel wood in the pad thai and some brown hair in the curry.
The owner didn't really care about the food maybe just eager to sell the business.
