Vanilla Gorilla Cafe

Was looking for breakfast while at work and stumbled across here. I ordered a Small Iced Vanilla Latte with oat milk and a Butter Croissant via Uber Eats. The total on Uber Eats was $17.93. When it arrived, the bag came neatly packaged with their logo on the front. There was no spillage inside (which I appreciate). The coffee itself wasn’t my favorite. There wasn’t enough of the vanilla flavoring and it wasn’t as potent as I wanted it to be. Now the croissant, was just as described, buttery, not too flakey, and not hard at all. The portion wasn’t disappointing as well. I finished it very quickly and I could honestly say I would’ve had another one! Overall, I feel like I personally won’t order coffee here again, but I would look at their baked goods.

This place is a gem! The breakfast pastrino was absolutely delicious! Cozy atmosphere and friendly staff made the experience even better. Highly recommend for a delightful breakfast treat!

Fantastic place for a quick cheap bite that actually tastes good!! Fantastic quality and selection, their vanilla oat latte’s are great but I highly suggest their golden chai. Staff are incredibly kind and efficient, wait time was 5 minutes and the atmosphere inside was so fun!!

Visited at 8:45 am on a Friday morning. It was extremely busy with quite a long line. There was plenty of seating, but nearly all were occupied. The atmosphere didn't feel right, not very hip, not cozy. But spacious. I ordered a hot latte with extra shot, and house drip coffee. The latte was very weak, disappointing. Even as a medium it was mostly milk. The drip coffee was fresh, but mediocre tasting. They offer a huge selection of sandwiches, pastries, and various beverages including hot and iced varieties of coffee. The service was extremely fast and friendly considering how busy it was. There were bums inside walking around hassling people for money. I'll probably not come back.

If you are looking for a place in Manhattan to grab a amazing coffee and a bite you need to check this place out!! Absolutely amazing staff. My wife, daughter and I had the opportunity to visit here today. We found it by chance as we were exploring the area. They didn’t disappoint. The staff was engaged enthusiastic and so helpful! Not to mention our coffee and muffins were absolutely delicious! I highly recommend this location!!!!

A great cafe usually includes comfy seating and the big couch at the Vanilla Gorilla is welcoming the moment you walk through the door. There are plenty of other seats, tables and people working and studying. A solid cafe menu is offered alongside various coffee and tea options. I opted to try the vanilla latte, assuming from the cafe name this was a signature drink. The vanilla latte was smooth, rich and creamy and not overly hot. An easy spot to stop by and relax in a busy area of the city.

After a week of bagels I woke up wanting something different. I came here and ordered a Chicken Parm Pastrino and Hazelnut Honey Latte from Vanilla Gorilla this morning - both hit the spot for me! Everything was made fresh which meant I could customize my wrap. Mmmm! Nice relaxing vibe and music makes a win-win all around!

I was actually looking for another coffee shop when I saw their sign and immediately crossed the street and I’m glad I did. Super quick, welcoming, and friendly service! Great vibes!
