A lovely shop to visit when in Copenhagen. Beautiful selection of artworks and handmade homeware and fantastic customer service from Sigrid (who resolved our issues with shipping to the UK). Thanks again Vanishing Point team! We really love our print!

I walked past this shop while exploring the neighborhood with my husband on a recent trip to Copenhagen. I was drawn in by the gorgeous sweater hanging in the doorway (which I subsequently bought) and when I saw the full stock of the store, I almost died. It's the most beautiful variety of homewares, decor, art, knits, and more. I could've spent my life savings in there. To top that off, the woman working there (maybe the owner? don't know) was the kindest, loveliest person. She was so welcoming and gave my husband and me some suggestions on other places to check out in the area. If I am ever lucky enough to be back in Denmark, I'd come back to this place in a heartbeat :)

‘Studio of handmade’ basically tells you everything as to what you have to expect to find there. I surfed on the website before going, but you surely will find more things if you go in person. The staff was oh so lovely, very helpful and talkative (if you wish to have a nice chat). I could not take my eyes off of all of the pieces of artwork in the shop. The carpets, the knitted wool jumpers, the prints... I wish I could just take it all. I ended up choosing a work from a Norwegian artist after talking with the staff, who gave me their opinion and tried to help me choose by asking questions. They undoubtedly were very helpful and I am sure that were it not for them, I’d probably still be there trying to figure out what to buy. The canvas is now on my desk, and I do not regret buying it whatsoever. It’s very pretty indeed, but most importantly, both the work itself and the title inspire me and make me happy. In that sense I truly feel like I took home a little piece of Copenhagen :). It is also very popular with my roommate and anyone who sees it. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

There is so much to love in this shop: artwork, ceramics, textiles etc. I made sure to visit again before departing to pick up a selection from various artists to take back home with me. And I'm sure I'll be ordering online too in the future.
