The customer service we received was well above what we would have expected from any other jewelry store. They are not simply a jewelry store, but Mark designs so many beautiful pieces as well. We were very impressed with the workmanship that went into making the custom sand dollar earrings. For anyone looking for nautical jewelry, this is definitely your go to jeweler. Mark is a savior!! I was on business travel to Fort Lauderdale and upon removing my suitcase from my overhead bin on the plane, I knocked my diamond out of my setting! I know...I almost had a heart attack but luckily the loose diamond was not far and was able to grab it with sweaty palms, held onto it tight until I got it to Mark! I came running into the store after a quick search with TRUSTFUL reviews and Mark put me at ease. And the reviews don't lie! Mark was so sweet and ensured I watched him as he placed my diamond back in its setting. It hasn't budged since then. So point #1: don't ever wear your engagement ring lifting heavy items. I take great pride and pleasure in being able to give a real authentic HONEST review for Vanmark Jewelers. As fate would have it, last April, I was traveling in Peru and went to Machu Picchu. At some point while I was there looking at the ruins, the bracelet fell off of my wrist. I find it ironic and away, that I should lose it in such a sacred spiritual place. And yet the irony is a beautiful one, because I recognize that perhaps some of the gold within that bracelet originated from the Incas and this was Existence offering to return it to its original source. (Well then again maybe I just have a very imaginative mind, but that's a much better story than saying I lost my bracelet Machu Picchu. Lol.) I did not know how I was going to be able to replace that bracelet because the sentimental value was even more than the actual physical value for me. And then it occurred to me. I have a father that's 83 years old, and a year ago he gave me two beautiful American eagle 1 ounce solid gold coins as a birthday present. I took these coins and put them in the bank vault for safe keeping. The problem with that though is that I could never really appreciate them as a gift. They were hidden in a box somewhere. Until it occurred to me that I could melt them down and have that gold formed into a bracelet to replace the one that I lost. At that point I started doing a lot of forensic research to find the perfect master craftsman jeweler that would take on this project. Using the Yelp application I received 10 quotes from higher rated jewelers in the area. I was so discouraged because even though I was providing all the gold material, they still were all quoting me between $2000 and all the way up to $7000 just for the labor of accomplishing this. I wanted an 18 karat 8 1/2 inch Cuban link bracelet around 10 1/2 cm. As luck would have it, Vanmark happened to be right next to my acupuncturist. And I thought why not go in and just give it a shot before I decided to just give up. So I went in and met Mark the owner. Gave him the story and told him what my intention was, and I immediately knew I was in perfect hands. First of all what you should know, Mark is an artist and a scholar. Meaning he has that creative artistic energy as well as an intellectual left brain energy. A perfect balance of the two. In addition, he's the most honest and authentic Jeweler I have ever met. He has integrity and respect for his customer. Believe me I'm somewhat jaded after all of those quotes that I got on Yelp from these local Jewelers. Mark took the time to break down the exact process step-by-step by step. From the beginning to the completed project. And he gave me a great quote for labor, in fact it was A LOT less than the other competitors had quoted me. In addition, Mark invited me to watch him melt my gold coins and actually let me experience the production of my bracelet. And to top it off, he indulged a weird request that I had, I asked him if it would be OK if while the gold was in the molten liquid state if I could put some fur from my beloved dog. Obviously the fur would just be evaporator by the heat of the liquid gold but in my mind it would have the essence of my beloved pet melded into the bracelet almost like a spiritual alchemy. Mark laughed, looked at me like I was a little weird, but said; " I don't care ...not a problem for me." He really educated me...I never understood how much was involved in making a gold bracelet before. Mark stuck to the timeline as promised, had great communication emailing me and calling me and giving me updates. And today I finally was able to pick up the finished product. He presented it to me in a beautiful mahogany wooden box and it was perfect. I can't even express in words how beautiful this bracelet is. So I'm sharing pictures from the original coins to the process to the finished product so you can see for yourself. Look putting Ego aside, I've worked very hard in my life to be very successful, I'm a world traveler, and I'm an excellent judge of character. I give Mark and Vanmark jewelers the highest thumbs up, the highest amount of stars you could possibly give to a Merchant! Trust Mark for any of your jewelry needs. Know that he will take care of you and he will charge you much less than any competitor and give you a by far better quality product. In addition to that most likely you'll end up making a very good friend with a man that has earned and gained my respect and admiration. It's not just a gold bracelet, it captures the love of my father, the love of my dog, and someday the opportunity for me to pass this forward to one of my family members as a keepsake that will always remind them of me. This place does excellent Jewlery repairs mainly high end pieces. Definitely recommend and trustworthy. They also have a small showroom with beautiful pieces for sale.

My engagement ring's center stone was loose and our original jeweler had retired so I had to go on the hunt for another experienced and trustworthy person. I visited a couple places that I did not feel comfortable with and continued the search and came across Vanmark Inc. Mark was extremely friendly, took a look at my ring and was able to fix it on site while I was there. He was kind and professional and I will definitely be going back for my jewelry needs!!

A friend recommended Mark to me when I asked where I could find a jeweler who can custom design a pair of earrings from loose stones and a roughly sketched design. Mark created the exact piece I wanted beyond my expectations. His work is clean and precise with attention to detail. I'm very happy with the earrings. So much that I had him make a pair for my partner as well as another for myself. Mark also resized my watchband and cleaned some other pieces for me. I have brought two items for repair and I was very impressed with their service both times. I brought a ring which had a cracked band and it came back with a seamless repair, polished and perfect, for under twenty dollars. The second repair was free because it took a little longer than expected, but this, to me, illustrates that they strive to be fair and fully accountable to their customers. They are a shining example of quality service.

If I could give Vanmark Jewelry Designers 10 stars I would! I recently got engaged and needed my engagement ring sized. I'm new to the area, so I was worried about finding a trusted jeweler that could help me. Mark is the best! He was so helpful and let me stay and watch him size my ring so I wouldn't have to leave my diamond behind. He also fixed the clasp on a necklace I brought in free of charge. I think I was in the store for no more than 20 minutes. If you want the best customer service and overall experience, Mark is your guy!

I highly recommend Mark at Vanmark Jewelry! I was on vacation in Ft. Lauderdale last month and while excercising I smashed my engagement ring and popped out one of the small pavet band diamonds. Thousands of miles from home and newly engaged I was panicked! I quickly searched on Yelp for the closest Jeweler with a 5 star rating! Luckily for me Vanmark was only a few miles down the road so I hopped in a Uber and was on my way. I walked in extremely nervous to hand my ring over to someone I had never met (we've all heard the horror stories of shady jewelers switching out the main stones with fake diamonds). Mark was a Gem....pun intended :) he was polite and professional, he reshaped my ring and reset the diamond that had fallen out. He also checked the integrity of all the other diamonds to make sure I wouldn't have any further issues. He also made a recommendation, which I followed through with of having the bridge of my ring built up so it was stronger. Mark is an honest business owner and a friend to travelers in need!

I recently bought a new setting and I had my diamond set into it by a well rated jewelry store in Boca Raton. Unfortunately, the workmanship was poor and I had another well respected jeweler try to profit from this. This is where Mark from Vanmark Jewelry came into the picture. I shared with him my long story and he gave me his honest opinion. Yes, it was not set correctly but he said it could be fixed. Which was not the same story elsewhere. He talked me through the entire process and let me come with him into the back work area. I could watch him work on my ring the entire time and ask him questions. Really, what other jeweler do you know would do this? He gave me a piece of mind and was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Not to mention a very fair price. If you look on his website, you can find all the pieces he created himself. But don't let that make you think he doesn't do more. He can do custom work and repairs. Now my engagement ring is back on my hand and I couldn't be happier.
