From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional — the staff were incredibly accommodating, friendly, and always ready to help. The rooms are modern, spotless, and thoughtfully designed, and the elegant lobby gives a true boutique-luxury vibe. The breakfast? Absolutely insane. There were endless options to choose from — fresh, delicious, and unlimited! It felt more like a curated dining experience than a hotel breakfast. The location is also perfect — central, convenient, and ideal for exploring everything Thessaloniki has to offer. One fun note: our local tour guide was so impressed by the hotel during a quick visit that he immediately booked a staycation there with his wife for the following weekend! I would highly recommend Vanoro Hotel to anyone visiting the beautiful city of Thessaloniki. It far exceeded our expectations.

The service at this hotel was absolutely outstanding. The staff that work there couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. Had a terrible experience at a supremely different yet equally rated hotel in Thessaloniki and my god the difference is night and day in terms of the staff members. The reason I’m giving the room 4 stars and not 5 is because there is only one English Channel on the TV and it’s 24hour BBC news, a little variety would be appreciated I’m sure for English speaking only guests. Or have Netflix added on so guests can sign in and out as they please.

This is a gem of a hotel, an excellent value for a 5-star hotel in the heart of Thessaloniki. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food is very good at the associated restaurant (the Anza). Parking (not free) is available at a parking lot a couple of blocks away. Very much looking forward to our next visit.

This was our second stay at Venoro Hotel, and we really enjoyed it again. We traveled all the way from the USA, and it was absolutely worth it. The room was sleek and very clean, and we felt truly welcomed from the moment we arrived. The location is super convenient — just a short walk to the center and restaurants. Breakfast was amazing, and my iced latte was honestly better than anywhere else we’ve had. We will definitely return!

We felt very welcome and comfortable at this hotel – even with our little baby. What stood out the most was how child-friendly the entire atmosphere was. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm and accommodating, and we truly appreciated the care and attention we received throughout our stay. A big thank you to the reception team as well as the kitchen and restaurant staff – everyone was extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive. The room was clean and quiet, the breakfast was delicious, and the overall atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant. We would happily stay here again and can fully recommend this hotel, especially for families with young children.

My wife and I just returned from an absolutely incredible stay at Vanoro Hotel in Thessaloniki. It is highly recommended for a city stay!||The location is perfect. It is within a walking distance from anywhere and we never need transportation.||We were lucky to be upgraded to a top floor room (thank you Mr. Edi!) and it was a pleasure. The room is spacious, comfortable and was kept clean during our stay. ||The reception staff are very pleasant and knowledgeable ||Bbreakfast is served ala cart 24/7 which is great, since we could have our breakfast after a late start at the gym.||Here's what truly demonstrates the exceptional character of this establishment: when our return flight was unexpectedly canceled, the management immediately offered to extend our stay for as long as needed, on a day to day basis (same price).

We’ve came back again this year for 2 nights, everything was amazing just like the last year. Breakfast is great there is a variety of options to choose from as well as yummy coffee! Rooms are comfy and cozy, extremely clean. all of the staff we’ve encountered were so kind and friendly and supportive, whenever I asked for matches they always gave me one which I am so thankful! It’s literally at the center just 5 mins by walk to the square. One minus might be the street parking, but they’ve already stated that before the reservation so we were already aware of the parking situation, plus we found a free parking area just below the street which was nice, since parking is a general problem in Thessaloniki I wouldn’t call this as a minus though.
