I had a delightful casual dinner at Vans. They’re open every day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, making it a great spot any time of day. The cozy atmosphere, complemented by the large window that lets in plenty of natural light, makes it an inviting place to dine. Plus, there’s more seating inside than it looks from the outside.
One thing I truly appreciated was the Asian twist in many of their dishes. I ordered the steak for dinner, and it was perfectly juicy and cooked just right. It came with chimichurri that added a bright, zesty flavor. The bean sprouts and coriander gave it an extra Asian kick, and the red onion puree added a pleasant sweetness.
For the entree, I tried the rice roll with chilli lemongrass beef. The filling was full of flavor, reminiscent of pho, though the roll itself was a bit thick and chewy for my taste. Still, a solid dish overall.
The cakes on display caught my eye, but I was too full to try any—definitely something to look forward to on my next visit. The service was also excellent; the waitstaff were friendly and efficient, and the food arrived quickly. Overall, a very pleasant dining experience :)
