Varada Place

Lovely place in super central location. Google any place and it's all within walking distance. Owner is friendly and helpful. Coffee espresso in the reception area. Use the machine right or everyone loses their minds. Rooms are adequate and surprisingly quite as they have double windows and thick walls.. Microwave and big fridge in room too. Wifi was 350mbps very fast. If you're working, tell them and get a room next to a router. Bike rentals opposite from Super Joe 250b

I enjoyed staying here in a room with 2 bunk beds. Homey atmosphere, AC works fast & you have your own little private space & a nice bathroom. I had the room to myself 2/4 days. Coffee & tea are free & you can get cup of noodles for 20 Bhat if you are too tired to go out after your tour. I enjoyed reading a book (from a local restaurant's lending library) on the sofa in the shared living room. Nice place!

This is a lovely little hostel in a central location in Chiang Mai, very close to both the airport and city centre, and perfect for a solo female traveler such as myself. Varada Place is clean, quiet and really good value for money with free tea and coffee. I stayed in the mixed dorm and found it to be very comfortable, and came everything I needed: AC, a fresh towel, plug sockets, nightlight and privacy curtain. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, particularly with assisting me with airport transfer. I felt very at home here, and will definitely choose this hostel again next time I'm in Chiang Mai.

Very nice budget guesthouse! Rooms are simple but functional. I liked it that in the bathroom the shower zone is well separated and the whole rooms doesn't get wet. The staff and the owner are super friendly and helpful. They also have free coffee from a real coffee machine that I loved. The location is good, about midway between Maya and the old town, walkable everywhere. Highly recommended!

Varada and her team are super nice and helpful. The room has everything I need and was clean. There are many cute cats and two shy dogs. The location is a little bit off the centre, but still close to Nimman and Old City. I will come back.

Pretty nice, comfy, simple and clean hotel. It is located in a small street with plenty of restaurants and no noisy trafic

Great place. The rooms are simple but clean and have a microwave, good sized fridge, TV, balcony. Bathrooms are spotless and have a shower curtain so the floor doesn't get wet everywhere. Downstairs there are spacious common areas and there's always free water, tea and coffee. The coffee is good quality from a machine and instantly ground. There are also washing machines and drying racks available at the property. The owner is lovely, extremely helpful and knowledge about any and all tourist / expat needs. Highly recommended.

Good affordable place! The location is on walking distance to the old city centre. Rooms are clean and the owner is very kind.
