Upscale and quite expensive place for "Cuban" food. As I have spent a lot of time in Cuba, in and near Varadero, it literally had no Cuban feeling as it's quite expensive and also filled with a variety of food, far from the reality in Cuba. They also had electricity in abundance which is also rare in Cuba. What they did right in line with most Cuban food is the lack of seasoning in terms of salt and pepper as well as rich flavour. I had the fish, which was well prepared and presented but honestly quite boring in taste and flavour unfortunately and not worth the very high price. They had Belgian, Mexican and (thankfully) Colombian beer. Unfortunately no Cuban like Cristal or Mayabe. Pity. At least stay with Colombian or Caribbean beers if that's the theme of the restaurant. I was sat outside, which was fine although the furniture, especially tables, could do with some TLC and revamping. Staff was friendly and attentive, food came fast and music was on point. Just didn't quite reach the full potential with the food I had.
