Varadero

I was finally able to visit this restaurant while in Barranquilla, and I have to say it was wonderful. I had heard so many good things, and I can confirm they’re all true. The food was excellent, and the ambiance is beautiful. It’s a great place to celebrate and enjoy with friends and family. If you are Cuban, or simply love Cuban food, this will be an unforgettable dining experience. If you’re visiting Barranquilla and want a great culinary experience, don’t miss this Latin restaurant—you won’t be disappointed. And of course, one of the best flans my husband has ever had in his life.

An incredible place for a special day. Service is top notch, even though it was very full due to Father’s Day, they did everything they could to make us feel welcome and comfortable. There was a special menu, for the occasion. Appetizers were AMAZING, but main dishes were not the best. Dessert was once again delicious. The restaurant is beautiful, colorful too. I would 100% recommend this place.

Varadero in Barranquilla was such a pleasant surprise! The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavour and beautifully served. The atmosphere is vibrant and warm, with Cuban music that instantly transports you to Havana. The live show was incredible full of energy and fun making the whole evening feel like a true celebration.

Varadero feels like a slice of Miami in Barranquilla — chic, vibrant, and impeccably run. The restaurant is stunning, with elegant touches and a welcoming energy that makes you want to stay. Service is exceptional — warm, professional, and effortlessly attentive. The pork belly is perfection, tender and full of flavor. The tostones with ropa vieja are rich, savory, and beautifully plated. Every detail is on point. A standout experience that feels polished, luxurious, and unforgettable.

This restaurant really goes all out with the ambiance. I enjoyed the band that played during my visit. The food was delicious and my server provided great recommendations. The only annoying aspect was a guy next to me that kept recording videos/taking pictures with the flash on…Boomers🤦🏾‍♂️

Food was mixed quality with good salad and fish combo but bacon starter was pretty mediocre. Also for a Cuban restaurant it only had two rums and make mojitos with whiskey so..... Interesting Great live music saved this from a 3
