A small gem hidden in the old city of Edessa within 3mins walking distance from the famous waterfalls. Great room, spotless, well cared for, quiet. Everything one could ask for from a quiet getaway.

Unique place with excellent restoration - huge lobby with fireplace and a view to the valley, ancient defence wall under your feet, very clean room with smart combination between forged iron, knitted curtains, wooden furnitures and soft duvet covers and pillows, and last but not least unique lamps. Delicious home made breakfast and so nice staff on the reception where you could find the story of the house and restoration process of this family run sweet hotel. The style of the architecture and interior, as well as the name Varosi, remind me the old Bulgarian houses and neighbourhoods from the Bulgarian revival period.

The Best in Town. The outside looks not very good. It was like the fairy tale.My wife in the biggining was skeptical. Little by little we liked this place More and More. Something magi with his Landlord of Macedonian origin from The Alexander the Great. This is real Macedonia, not what Tito pretended years ago. It seems like the story of the Jewish people, that never belonged to Jerusalem. In the Bible is written about Jesus the Palestinian not the Jew. I really appreciate this piece of Heaven Thank you All

This 250+ year old home, perched on a hilltop, has been completely remodelled and refit for travellers in the 21st century. The windows from the comfortable, wood-beamed common area give a beautiful view across the valley containing the Edessa archaeological site. Wi-fi is good and the breakfast (included) was bountiful and delicious. I was very sorry indeed when we had to leave.

Very friendly and helpfull staff. Nice room with a view across the surroundings. As it is build on a cliff face I don't think it is very suitable for people with impaired mobility. (there is an elevator)|Bathroom is very good especially compared to other Greek hotels.|We stayed 2 nights. Breakfast is perfect.||The Varosi district is much smaller than I anticipated. There is much to see in Edessa, so you can easily spend a day there. Waterfall is nearby and has a lot of water even in summer.|If interested in history, buy the Edessa card so you can walk in and out of the small museums. All very friendly people!||On the other side is the "real" Edessa. Also very pleasant with a lot of cafes and some restaurants. There you will meet the local people

What a wonderful way to start our long awaited Greek holiday. This is an amazing place, the building is beautiful, simply decorated in the most tasteful way, from the stunning entrance, stylish rooms & terraces with breathtaking views. Petros was a charming & helpful host, we enjoyed drinks on the terrace, after visiting the waterfalls ( 5 minutes walk away), greek coffee after dinner ( Ousies Taverna) whilst listening to a great playlist & delicious breakfasts each morning- Thankyou for everything

Having worked in mainland Greece in 2009, on my days off I used to go for drives to see what I could find, and on one such drive I came across this hidden gem of a hotel.| I always promised myself I would come back and stay, and this week was that week, my wife and I had initially booked for 3 nights but ended up staying an extra night.|Spotless rooms, friendly staff and nothing too much to ask.|5 minute walk from Edessa water mills and falls and local access to some of the best Greek restaurants Edessa has to offer, the Varosi Four Seasons is everything we hoped it would be and more and a return stay is an absolute definite for us, Thank you Varosi and see you again soon, Mark & Ann ❤️||
