Top restaurants in New Delhi to dine at - SilverKris

"An upscale destination for reimagined, sophisticated Indian cuisine where dishes are beautifully plated and rich with the aromas of traditional flavors rendered in contemporary style; the expansive, indulgent menu ranges from inventive chaat made with crispy flowers to delicate puddings of apricot encased in handmade puff pastry. The dining room features a notable mural by artist Anjolie Ela Menon, and signature items such as the Flower Chaat highlight ingredients like green pumpkin and fennel seeds." - Rachna Sachasinh

We had a wonderful dinner at Varq and absolutely loved the food, attention to detail, and the overall service. This is Indian fine dining done right. We started with the Bhatti Paneer, which was perfectly cooked—soft, smoky, and an absolute delight. The Palak Patta Chaat was beautifully presented and tasted even better; the use of avocado was exceptional and added a lovely modern twist without overpowering the dish. For the mains, both the Charred Channa Masala and Dum ki Sabzi stood out. The way green and white asparagus were skillfully incorporated into the dishes was impressive—thoughtful, balanced, and very well executed. The breads—Mini Olive Naan, Multigrain Tandoori Roti, and Panchdhaan (five-grain) Roti—were all spot on and complemented the mains perfectly. We wrapped up the meal with Jeera Rice and Indian yoghurt, which was a simple yet comforting end to the savoury courses. Dessert was a big hit with the kids—the Masala Chai Tres Leches was unique and delicious. For drinks, both mocktails were excellent: Keri (raw mango) was refreshing and tangy, while Anar (pomegranate, holy basil, and aquafaba) was beautifully balanced and refreshing. Overall, a highly recommended Indian fine-dining restaurant with great flavours, elegant presentation, and impeccable service. Easily one of the best Indian dining experiences in Dubai.

We had gone for our anniversary dinner and we liked it.. since it was windy seating in the outside was closed. But the inside seating was cosy and warm. Food which we order was a 3 course set menu. Which consist of a appetiser, main course and dessert. We also ordered a soup for our daughter only 2 choice was there one was a veg soup and the other was a Chinese soupy noodle kind of .. it was very tasty. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating.

I visited with my parents for my mother's Birthday 🎂. Arjun's service and hospitality is extraordinary. He even arranged a Rose lemonade and brownie cake and got other staffs to celebrate my mother's Birthday. It's a memorable moment for me and my parents. And the Chef came to us and asked the review of the food, that's an amazing gesture. I loved the veg and chicken trio starters, Malabar prawns, mirchi paratha and garlic naan with mouthwatering sauces. I'll come back with more friends just for that service and hospitality. ☺️👌

Had an amazing 5-star dining experience at Varq, Taj Exotica. The food was outstanding, the drinks perfectly crafted, and the vibe absolutely delightful. A special thanks to Arjun and the team for their impeccable service, they made the evening truly memorable and added a personal touch to make my wife’s birthday celebration extra special. Every detail, from the presentation to the hospitality, was top-notch. Highly recommended!

Varq at the Taj exotica is rated one of the best restaurants doing Indian food in Dubai. It lives up to this billing and more with an extremely unique menu that titillates the palate with authentic Indian flavours but with its own signature style. This is with an extremely welcoming atmosphere where the team make you feel welcomed and then go the extra mile to look after you. They are extremely knowledgeable about the dishes and one gets a good idea of the flavours. We started with the Vegetable trio and 3 chicken 3 ways trio as appetizers. We were offered an interesting take on mini idli with a tamarindy sauce. The murg makhmali and paneer were exquisite. For the mains we ordered Purvanchal Bhaji a unique take on methi saag and mandua roti. (Presentation pictured). The presentation is flawless and effort expended is amazing. It's add to the flavour which is smooth on the palate. The chicken sirka pyaaz just melts in your mouth with the hot panchdhan roti. After the meal which did not feel heavy at all we settled on Doda burfi pictured. PS the Sorbet like nimbu pani strikes a sweet sour flavour that's just right. Note every bit of the presentation is something to savour including the beatroot leaf papad and panjiri. My compliments to the Sous Chef Anoop Brelvi and the team as they have really come up with something very unique in terms of taking an Indian menu to another level. Varq provides a great ambience, nice music nothing heavy on the ear. Tables well spaced so you are not disturbed. The staff go the extra step. Usama you rock. If coming on a weekend would recommend reserving in advance as it is a popular restaurant.

Very average food at exorbitant prices. Overall, a disappointing experience. We ordered butter chicken, naan, three-ways chicken, drumstick soup, and theche fish. Unfortunately, none of the dishes stood out. The flavours were flat, and the food did not taste fresh. The meat, especially, tasted like it had been reheated rather than freshly prepared. Service was about 3 stars. We asked for pickle early on, which the waiter forgot and only brought when we had almost finished our meal. We were celebrating my mother’s birthday, and the complimentary cake that was brought tasted bad, with a rancid nut flavour, making it inedible. Given the pricing and expectations, this experience was well below average. Would highly not recommend.

I went with my family for the Onam Sadya at Taj Exotica this August (2025), and it turned out to be such a special experience for us. The food honestly felt like home, every dish was so authentic, full of flavor, and prepared with such care. It reminded me of the kind of traditional Sadya you’d expect in Kerala, which is rare to find done so perfectly outside. The service made it even better. The team was quick, attentive, and genuinely pleasant, which meant we could just sit back and enjoy ourselves without having to ask for anything twice. The atmosphere was festive but still comfortable, making it the perfect setting for a family celebration. What really stood out for me was when the chefs themselves came around to check how we were enjoying the food. That personal touch made all the difference, you could feel how much pride they took in what they served. (Chef Sonu Koithara and Chef Anish Matthew) We left with happy hearts and full stomachs. It was one of those meals where everything food, service, and setting just came together perfectly.

We celebrated my dad’s birthday at Varq and it couldn’t have been better. The service was great, the drinks were amazing, and the food was creative with rich yet subtle flavors. Everything looked beautiful and tasted even better. Definitely going back again!
