We had a wonderful dinner at Varq and absolutely loved the food, attention to detail, and the overall service. This is Indian fine dining done right.
We started with the Bhatti Paneer, which was perfectly cooked—soft, smoky, and an absolute delight. The Palak Patta Chaat was beautifully presented and tasted even better; the use of avocado was exceptional and added a lovely modern twist without overpowering the dish.
For the mains, both the Charred Channa Masala and Dum ki Sabzi stood out. The way green and white asparagus were skillfully incorporated into the dishes was impressive—thoughtful, balanced, and very well executed.
The breads—Mini Olive Naan, Multigrain Tandoori Roti, and Panchdhaan (five-grain) Roti—were all spot on and complemented the mains perfectly.
We wrapped up the meal with Jeera Rice and Indian yoghurt, which was a simple yet comforting end to the savoury courses.
Dessert was a big hit with the kids—the Masala Chai Tres Leches was unique and delicious. For drinks, both mocktails were excellent: Keri (raw mango) was refreshing and tangy, while Anar (pomegranate, holy basil, and aquafaba) was beautifully balanced and refreshing.
Overall, a highly recommended Indian fine-dining restaurant with great flavours, elegant presentation, and impeccable service. Easily one of the best Indian dining experiences in Dubai.
