VASCO RESIDENCY GTDC HOTEL

Pros : - It is located near Vasco railway station. - There are many restaurants . - Vasco market is near, so from there you can get local buses /Auto to any areas in Goa. - Rooms are spacious with balcony . - Prices are comparatively low . Cons : - This is government property so maintenance is not up to the mark. - No proper room service. - No complimentary items like water bottle, soap, hair oil etc. My Opinion : Look I stayed for 2 days, and it was a pretty decent stay in that area. It is safe place but you can't expect 4 or 5 star bedding, bathrooms etc. For a short stay it is worth the money, I regularly stay here whenever i go to Goa . Many people from south India prefer this lodge.

Extremely Disappointing Experience at Vasco Residency I recently had the misfortune of booking a room at Vasco Residency, and I must warn others to avoid this place at all costs. I booked my room a week in advance and arrived at the residency in the morning, only to be told that there were no rooms available. Despite having vacant rooms, the staff refused to accommodate me, showing a complete lack of respect for guests from other states. The staff's behavior was unprofessional, and their sole focus seemed to be on making money, rather than providing decent customer service. To make matters worse, the rooms and facilities were not clean, with dirty beds and bathrooms. I strongly advise against booking a room at Vasco Residency, and I hope that the management takes steps to improve their services and treat their guests with respect.

It's near vasco railway station with walkable distance. Rooms are spacious and good. Price is cheap. Need to update the service like frequent powercuts and for that causes trouble in lift

We took a non Ac Room. Balcony was good.it was very expensive for a family rooms was not good which we didn't expected it. We thought government hotels at least maintain basic accommodation like soaps and shampoos nowadays everywhere each hotel providing them. Even water also not available We have buy from them. Bed was good and one chair also given that's a plus for us. Near by Vasco da gama railway station

Vasco Residency is a good stay but for food we need to go out. There is no room service,. Elevator is there as such no need of climbing stairs. Overall a good stay place and it's very close to Vasco railway station.

Stayed in Non AC Front-facing Double Room No, 305 from 6-9 Nov. It is a 2-star hotel and is worth the total room rent for i.e. Rs. 1512 per night (no included Breakfast). The airy room was big with a decent bathroom; bed spread was clean. Situated just 300 m from Vasco railway station and accessible from the market and other places. There is a good veg restaurant Annapoorna, 5 mins walk. GTDC reception here does arrange for private North & South Goa sightseeing Tempo Travellers (from Vasco station). Good budget hotel to stay for travellers at the center of Goa who need rail, air and bus connectivity.

Location is near by that is walkable distance from vasco railway station. Rooms is so so not up to mark. And service is poor. And prices also high comparative to private hotels.

4-5 km away from goa airport. Doesn't have a restaurant of it's own but there are many restaurants, food courts, shacks, bars etc near this place. Rooms look old fashioned like a government rest house. But rooms are big and location of the hotel is very good. Cab is Always available in front of the hotel. AC rooms cost around 1500+GST. It's better to book online, you may get good discount online. I booked 3 days through "Cleartrip " And paid 3900(including gst). Overall a good stay if your budget is below 1500. They also have non AC rooms.
