VASCO RESIDENCY GTDC HOTEL

Rooms are quite spacious, very very clean. Has all the required basic necessary things. Staff is very welcoming. We stayed here for a night only and had checked-in very late at night but the staff was very friendly. Will highly recommend this place when in and near Vasco Da Gama. It's very near to South Goa airport and location is good as well.

Very spacious and clean room, walkable from vasco railway station. Lots of Nearby shops and restaurants. Complimentary breakfast sucks and is pathetic, visit udupi restaurant which is on back side of this hotel for breakfast. Walking park opp to hotel. Gdtc tour bus pickup and drop point. AC temperature control didn't work

We booked 2 a/c double rooms and a 4 bedded non a/c room through online. We stayed on 13/07/2018. The a/c rooms are in new building and rooms maintainance are good . But the 4 bedded room is in old building and it is of poor maintainance. Rooms and toilets are full of dust . But the rooms in new building are maintained well. Better book a/c rooms. But the tariff is very low when compared to other hotels. Overall it is above average and good for budget travellers.

Location: 5/5 Staff: 5/5 Rooms: 2/5 This hotel is very close to the railway station (walking distance), bus stand, market, and petrol station. However, the building appears quite old, which might be the reason for the musty smell in the rooms. The washroom flush is outdated, and the chair covers were dirty. The AC was working perfectly, and the balcony view was nice. Staff members were very helpful to all the guests. Overall, I would say the people in Goa are very helpful. It also seems safe for women.

It Was Amazing Stay In A Beautiful Place And The View.Feel Like Good And The Staff's Are So Good And Well

Pros : - It is located near Vasco railway station. - There are many restaurants . - Vasco market is near, so from there you can get local buses /Auto to any areas in Goa. - Rooms are spacious with balcony . - Prices are comparatively low . Cons : - This is government property so maintenance is not up to the mark. - No proper room service. - No complimentary items like water bottle, soap, hair oil etc. My Opinion : Look I stayed for 2 days, and it was a pretty decent stay in that area. It is safe place but you can't expect 4 or 5 star bedding, bathrooms etc. For a short stay it is worth the money, I regularly stay here whenever i go to Goa . Many people from south India prefer this lodge.
