Vashishth Guest House Rishikesh

Vashishth Guest House will go above and beyond for their guests. I checked in very late after catching a train to Haridwar. They sent a taxi to pick me up from the station and despite my arrival after staff had officially clocked off for the night there was still someone waiting for me. Then they upgraded my room to a balcony suite for free. I spent 2 blissful days in Rishikesh before checking out at 6 am on the 3rd day. They were ready for that too, arranging me a return taxi to Haridwar to watched the 8.04 Vande Bharat Express to Delhi. And then, when I was on the train and realised I had left a pair of newly purchased earrings in my room? They arranged to have them sent to where I am staying in Delhi. I am amazed by the sheer level of service I have witnessed from staff at Vashishth Guest House and I will be returning in the future to spend more time in that holy place. As an added plus the Guest House is less than a 5 minute walk from Parmarth Niketan and the ghat where the ashram holds Ganga aarti on a nightly basis. It is also 5 minutes from Janki Jhoola and greater Rishikesh. I simply cannot recommend this guesthouse enough.

We booked here but upgraded on arrival to stay at the connected sister hotel yog vashishth, as we wanted a window with natural light and a view. Writing review here so others know to check rooms next door too. Definitely worth check both when booking your room :) Lovely hotel. Super fast wifi. Friendly staff. Good location

I was very lucky to find this place. The room is very confortable, breakfast is great and all the people working there are really nice and friendly. I felt taken care of, which was so nice being so far away from home. They also where very helpful when I arrived, I had a bad experience with the taxi and they helped and picked me up on the other side of the Ganga. I'm definitely going back when I'm again in Rishikesh.

Vashishth Guest House is an absolutely fantastic place to stay to experience all that is Rishikesh. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The location is brilliant too, right near Parmarth Niketan where there is a Ganga Aarti each night. There's also a yoga class twice a day that you can drop into. It's also convenient to vendors offering adventure sports such as rafting. The rooftop cafe serves a great breakfast, lunch and dinner too. Overall a perfect stay, very highly recommended.

We had a 4 night stay with family. This was an excellent place to stay, staff was nice and location was perfect. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Thanks Tushar for arranging the motorcycle for me.

We really enjoyed this hotel in Rishikesh and highly recommend it to foreign travelers. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and go out of their way to ensure a good stay for guests. Having in-house yoga and massages available is a big plus! The restaurant is very good and never disappointed us (we ate there a lot!).

Had a budget-friendly stay at the Vashisth Guest House for our first visit to Rishikesh. The rooms are excellent with reasonable pricing; the staff maintains hygiene and cleanliness. Room service and housekeeping were well-managed and satisfying. Highly recommend this place for a comfortable stay!!
