Vashon Adventures

The staff is friendly and really on top of things. They were ready for us and stabilized the kayaks as we got in. It's a fantastic area for kayaking. With the ferry ride from Point Defiance, it made for a great little day trip. We'll be back!

Our experience was great. The staff was super friendly and true to their word of welcoming furry friends. We rented 3 kayaks for 90 minutes and had plenty of time. We took a large 80lbs dog and she enjoyed cruising the water.

Very straightforward and helpful staff. We arrived almost an hour earlier than our booked time and they got us right in the water. Would definitely recommend and rent from again. Very reasonable prices.

We booked a reservation for 90 minutes on sea kayaks and everything was great! The kayaks were ready for us when we arrived, the guides gave very thorough instructions before sending us out to sea, and we had a blast!

The staff at Vashon Adventures were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The launch and exit from the kayaks were convenient and easy. The rudder on my kayak was very stiff, and the kayak was hard to maneuver, making the whole experience harder than necessary. In addition, the backrest was extremely hard and bruised my back. I’d advise to take a towel or pillow to cushion the back of the seat. The setting at Vashon Adventures is very beautiful, and despite minor discomfort, the trip was very enjoyable.

Vashon Adventures is wonderful. We have partnered with them on several occasions for our nature programs at Vashon Nature Center and we are always impressed by their service, camaraderie, and professionalism. We've used them for kayak trips, research field days, and they have also hosted a safety training for our interns, staff, and volunteers. All high quality experiences. Highly recommend these folks!

Excellently cared for equipment and shortly after launch we were explored by seals and found ourselves in a moon jelly garden.

We lucked out with gorgeous weather yesterday, and Erin was kind enough to get us out on the water before Vashon Adventures' official opening for the season. Communication was easy and smooth, and the paddle was awesome. We can't wait to come back - and maybe even bring our little ones! Highly recommend if you're on the island - you won't regret it :)

Hands down five star service! My husband took me to Vashon island for our anniversary. I am not an athlete so an electric bike was awesome! The water is beautiful and the locals were all very wonderful. It was like going back in time. Erin loves what she does and it shows. I highly recommend her adventures! We rode the ferry over and she picked us up and our adventure began! Great little get away!

Went on the moonlight kayak tour last night and it was great! The tour guides were friendly and very knowledgeable about the island. As an added treat we saw jellyfish and paddled to area where we saw bio-luminescense.

The guys there were aloof and unhelpful, but the girl running the rentals was amazing. We had a really fun experience - saw jellyfish and added a couple more cool finds to our shell collection (sand dollar and moonsnail).
