Vashon Adventures

Went kayaking for the first time with my three year old and we had a great time! The staff were super friendly and patient, and took the time to find the right kayak to fit us all, a life preserver that my son was willing to wear without a fight, and a perfectly sized paddle for him to use. They were even kind enough to take our picture for us! We appreciated the direction and clear safety instructions, and really enjoyed our low key 90 minute paddle. We were happy we got to see a seal and then do a little beach combing after.

Not being locals meant we had no knowledge of what to do, where to go, or when to do anything. However, not only did we get to have a great time Kayaking, but Erin was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. This made our trip to the island all the more special.

Our experience was great. The staff was super friendly and true to their word of welcoming furry friends. We rented 3 kayaks for 90 minutes and had plenty of time. We took a large 80lbs dog and she enjoyed cruising the water.

Super smooth process and friendly staff! We were about 15 min late and yet they were very patient with us. We completed our waivers online ahead of time which helped speed things up tremendously! They took our kayak & paddle board down to the water for us - helped us on/in and off we went. Enjoyed the water for an hr and a half, returned and they met us back at the water. We just hopped off and on our way we went. Highly recommend using Vashon Adventures!

Very straightforward and helpful staff. We arrived almost an hour earlier than our booked time and they got us right in the water. Would definitely recommend and rent from again. Very reasonable prices.

Great experience at Vashon Adventures! My sister and I had a great experience kayaking on Vashon. Erin from Vashon Adventures was so incredibly nice and accommodating, which made our experience as non-islanders very enjoyable. We will definitely be back for more kayaking adventures!!

The staff is friendly and really on top of things. They were ready for us and stabilized the kayaks as we got in. It's a fantastic area for kayaking. With the ferry ride from Point Defiance, it made for a great little day trip. We'll be back!

Had a great paddle. Gorgeous weather. Got there almost 2 hours early because we wanted to pad our ferry arrival/departure with enough cushion for delays. The staff were super accommodating and were able to get us on the water an hour earlier than we booked despite having a larger group ahead of us. We only used about an hour of our 3-hour time slot because we’re weakling newbies. However, we will definitely be returning! Thanks for a fun day.

Hands down five star service! My husband took me to Vashon island for our anniversary. I am not an athlete so an electric bike was awesome! The water is beautiful and the locals were all very wonderful. It was like going back in time. Erin loves what she does and it shows. I highly recommend her adventures! We rode the ferry over and she picked us up and our adventure began! Great little get away!

Went on the moonlight kayak tour last night and it was great! The tour guides were friendly and very knowledgeable about the island. As an added treat we saw jellyfish and paddled to area where we saw bio-luminescense.

The guys there were aloof and unhelpful, but the girl running the rentals was amazing. We had a really fun experience - saw jellyfish and added a couple more cool finds to our shell collection (sand dollar and moonsnail).
