Vasse Felix is a must! The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. Florencia prepared a surprise for us and we loved it! What a day! We enjoyed a great wine tasting! Kaitlyn told us everything about those beautiful wines, she was excellent! What a welcome! After that tasting we headed to the restaurant, there Tally welcomed us. We chose the set menu with wine pairing. Every single bite was divine, the wines are gorgeous and both together were just perfect! Simon brought my favourite dish of the day…that scallop was an explosion of flavours…Jo, who took care of us, was great and she guided us through this unforgettable lunch. Can’t thank enough the whole team for making my partner’s birthday special! We’ll definitely come back!

I nice winery to stop in for some tastings, it will cost you $10 for your tasting. The grounds are beautifully kept and there is a kids play ground and an area to sit outside and have a wine. There is also a gallery you can walk through. There’s pottery you can buy and other pieces other than just wine. I tried the bubbles, and the reds. They were a bit dry for me and not fruity enough but were still enjoyable to try. The lady that served me was very informative and helpful she made me feel comfortable. A nice stop in for me. I loved the bronze kangaroo. The vineyard is well kept and there are some very old vines.

Been here a number of times now. And honestly never disappoints! Had my mother visiting and they managed to fit us in even though they were full. Had the best three course lunch with wine parings from our waiter. The staff were so friendly and attentive, always makings sure we were happy and answered all my mother’s questions haha Once we finished, we went downstairs to so some wine tasting. Which was so wonderfully presented by the American staff member. Telling us all about the wines, and the background of the wine estate. Was an unbelievable experience from start to finish. Thank you so much for the hospitality and experience. Can’t wait to be back soon!!

We absolutely loved our experience at Vasse Felix, our waitress Perryn was so knowledgeable and professional and lovely to interact with. All of the food was incredible, we ate every bite and enjoyed all of the accompanying wines. Highly recommend the beef and also the mussel flatbread and the kangaroo tartare. Such a wonderful day. Thank you again Perryn.

Went for lunch, then the original tour. Lunch was delicious! We were a group so managed to try most entrees and mains. The pumpkin shortcrust was the standout- really good flavours and cooked beautifully. But if there is one thing I’d order again and again, it’ll have to be the chocolate dessert, which was a wonderful medley of flavours and textures. The tour was informative and well-paced. Isaac has a wicked sense of humour!

Wonderful wine tour including personalized wine tasting. Patrick was our fantastic guide. We also enjoyed the 5 course lunch afterwards which was created to match their stellar wines. The 'snack' and wagyu course were amazing. The staff and service at Vasse Felix are very friendly and knowledgable. We spent 5.5 hours here - highly recommended!

Excellent winery and restaurant. Enjoyed our pre meal wine tasting and chose two to purchase. Before our meal we appreciated the art Gallery display of stunning works. A five star meal - a choice between a menu of own choice or degustation- we chose the former. What a treat! The best dishes I've tasted in a long time! We took our travel buddies: they feature in a picture or two. Highly recommended. Also, booking ahead is a good idea. We waited (happily, I might add) 40 minutes...hence pre meal activities! Also, there's tours if interested.

Stopped at Vasse Felix for a tasting, we were thoroughly impressed by Caitlin who was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The wines were very good and the winery was picturesque. We also enjoyed a generous charcuterie platter. We definitely recommend

We only tasted one Sauvignon blanc so we really can't speak to most of the wines. What we can review is the ambiance which we didn't really care for very much. The tasting area is a cube accessible from three sides. The wood is dark and the lighting bright so there is no "softness" to the feeling of the area. Outside there is a large grassy area for kids to play. Since we only wanted to taste a full Sauvignon blanc the server didn't charge us the tasting fee. We liked it enough to buy it anyway however it was nice of the server to agree to that.

Great food and view. I love winery restaurants and had wanted to try Vasse Felix, was not let down. The food was excellent and the presentation even more beautiful, I will never forget how pretty the pork looked. We normally never eat dessert but had it here just because everything else was so good. Thoroughly recommend.

A brilliant meal overlooking manicured lawns and vineyard. Michelin star quality meals. We had quail, octopus beef and tagliatelli and they were each amazing. Staff, Rosa from Canada , exceptional.

Extraordinary Winery in the South West of W.A. One of the earliest in the region. We enjoyed the wine tasting, had a look through The Vault wine exhibition. Then settled on a glass of Cabernet and nibbles upstairs overlooking the winery. A must visit experience.

I was blown away by this place. I have been quite disappointed in the more well known and popular places, and many well regarded winery restaurants. Vasse Felix stands out for exceptional service, food and value - and the atmosphere is lovely. Not only was the tasting menu extremely well priced, the quality of ingredients were outstanding. Each dish was both unique, and wonderfully flavoured. Service was excellent - attentive, helpful and friendly. Very professional with zero attitude which is so prevalent in this region. Every course I scraped the plate for every last bit of sauce, and there was no judgement. I have to be honest and say I was dreading the emu carpaccio, but it was stunning. I also appreciated that there was no pressure to order wines or extras (I was driving) even though I really wanted to. I could not find any fault. They even offer to hold up your meal for you if you go to the bathroom, so no worried dashes out of the dining room! I have done a few degustations in Margaret River, and this is the only place I would return to. I was just so impressed with everything, even the booking was well handled and they called to discuss fitting me into a time when they were booked solid. They took every effort to make it enjoyable and the value was just unbeatable. I don't know why they don't charge more.

Fancy lunching in Margaret River - highly recommend the Barramundi with Sea Urchin. DO NOT, I repeat, do not skimp on the salad of pickled carrot, beetroot, fennel and goats feta .. you'll regret it. Overall, the restaurant area upstairs is a gorgeous space - its a round space surrounded by floor to ceiling glass doors that open during the warmer months to let in the most amazing breeze. It is a fairly expensive restaurant but the quality of food and service you receive more than warrants the price for some of the food. I love an open kitchen and this restaurant sure knows how to showcase an open kitchen - one of the best I've come across. The suspended fireplace when you first walk into the restaurant is breathtaking - shame it wasn't winter to really test out the fire crackling ambiance.

I'm not a wine connoisseur, but I've heard so many great things about Vasse Felix Winery and Restaurant, so we decided to check Vasse Felix out while we were in the area. I saw that Chef Aaron Carr recently won the Chef of the Year award and I came in with high expectations, I was not disappointed. We had a great lunch at Vasse Felix.The balcony seating overlooks the vineyard and the immaculately groomed lawn. With ingredients like sea urchin, raw trout, and emu, the dishes at Vasse Felix are far from ordinary. Chef Aaron Carr delights patrons with delightful concoctions that leave them wanting more - I wish I could order everything on the menu! I highly recommend making a reservation as they always seem to be busy. I also recommend sticking with the seafood dishes and saving room for desserts. I loved the barramundi with mussel reduction, the raw ocean trout and the marron starter. They were all very tasty and fresh, prepared perfectly, and exquisitely plated. I wasn't crazy about the pork shoulder with octopus, as it was kind of bland and the pork was a bit too fatty. Of course, I wish the portion was about 3x bigger, but fine dining portion is always minuscule and we still left feeling full. The tomato, quinoa, and mozzarella side was surprisingly very good. The tomatoes were very fresh and crisp, which balanced nicely with the chewy mozzarella. Service was great, but for such a casual dining environment, it felt a bit stuffy and over-the-top formal. I'm glad they let us in with flip flops, swim trunks and all though. I highly recommend Vasse Felix if you're in the area. I know there are many wineries and restaurants in the area, but Vasse Felix is definitely worth a visit!

Only has the wine stating in this lovely place and it was delicious. Highly recommend it. Especially the cabernet sauvignon. The staff was very nice and they have a nice art gallery. The place is pretty - they have outside seating area with picnic towels ready to be unfolded on the grass. Perfect.

Definitely coming back again for food. We went there in a group of 4 for lunch. We tried their wines before lunch. The wine was good so we get one bottle of it when we have our lunch. We tried their duck and beef, both of them are fantastic! The service was good and the place was really nice for dinning with family and friends. We tried their cheese platter and a dessert too. All of them were very good. This place get really crowded on weekends, so be sure you're here early or book in advance. Lunch is not available until 12pm.

This winery is absolutely gorgeous with an art gallery, restaurant upstairs, free tastings and even a walking path. The wines are fruity, sharp and cater for varied wine connoisseur. However they are lacking in options for dessert wines.

Stopped in for a wine tasting but spent more time out exploring the gardens. Such a beautiful spot to sit in the sun and enjoy a glass or two. I did taste three wines though - a sparkling white, a red and a dry white, all delicious. I bought a bottle of the sparkling for a friend as a gift. Definitely recommend this winery!

Visited the vineyard on a lovely sunny winter day. Beautiful ambience & great food. Friendly service. Delicious food - beautifully presented & top quality.

Ok, this place is a foodie paradise. The entire region. This was the first restaurant at which we had lunch and to say that we were impressed is an understatement. Every dish is a work of art - not only are the ingredients local, fresh and incredibly foodie the combination of flavors is perfect and the presentation is just gorgeous. We had an appetizer with a soft cheese, asparagus and flower petals and fresh peas and a main which was a haloumi cheese with various other ingredients. Oh my G-d!!! We also had their 2012 H.... Cab Sauv series and it was an amazing wine. I have a tiny list of places which I think are the most amazing places in the world to eat and this . had joined it from the first bite.

What an absolutely gorgeous restaurant and meal. We sat on the balcony in perfect mild weather. Probably helped that it was a Friday and we had taken the day off work to take a long weekend down south. Mushroom agnolotti and beef flank were amazing and the desserts...wow!! Some of the best I have ever eaten. Keen to try other places down south but I'm scared none will stack up to vasse Felix..so I might just go back and not risk it! :)
