The room was small. The bed was too firm. The shower was in with the toilet. No hot water but the AC will drive you outside to warm up. No blankets in the room. The restaurant was very, very good. The hotel was beautiful. Large pool. The staff was great. A pod of dolphins played in the surf while we ate our dinner on the beach.

Went there to spend a day outside the city of Acapulco. This is a short drive, but feels a world apart. Beach runs forever, and the waves were pounding. ||This little resort is right on the water, with cute decor and many little places to sit in the shade or the sun. There is an open air restaurant, little lounge-y type seating areas, palapas on the beach with hammocks, and loungers by the pool with umbrellas.||Spent some time under a palapa with some cold drinks. ||To cool off, we went in there funky little pool, and sat at the pool-bar. A little more lounging, and we were ready for something to eat. The food was delicious, and one of the better "beach-side" restaurants I have been to. ||the place was busy - almost every every space was occupied. So at times the service was pressed, but always friendly. ||If you are looking to get away and relax, I would highly recommend!

We have been to Hacienda Vayma many times over the years and have seen many others in the area. This is by FAR the best looking and kept property in Pie de la Cuesta. ||The pool area is terrific and very inviting you can lounge around the pool and enjoy their swim up bar or head to the beach and enjoy a hammock and be served by their terrific staff. ||David and Luis 2 long time bartender and wait staff are terrific who worked very hard on this busy Sunday. ||The food is extremely good. We ordered some guacamole and the ravioli stuffed with spinach and cheese in a cream sauce was delicious. ||As many friends were there today we shared their pizza the camaron as good as ever and the snapper alla talla was excellent. ||As always we highly recommend. We had tried peeking at another spot just to see something different but that was a huge mistake. ||Bottom line if it's not broke don't fix it or change for the sake of change.

Located on the beach, somewhere in the zones of Acapulco (ensure you catch a taxi !!!).||Sit on the sand, each fresh seafood at reasonable prices (not cheap but very reasonable ).||Service is very efficient, very precise and really honest - the Maitre' D told us if something was from yesterday and was never trying to 'sell'. An honest man....||Food was great. I had whole fish, it was really very good. My friends enjoyed a variety of other dishes. ||Very relaxed ambience.||The prices are similar to other places of the same quality. It's actually a great place to eat, drink and listen to the waves roll in.||Recommended.||

Vayma is definitely a (hidden) gem of Pie de la cuesta, we've been visiting over the years and always found this place very charming, it is very nicely decorated and the staff is doing great job to keep the place clean (considering that it is all covered in sand and there are always at least 5 dogs at the property (pet-friendly hotel)), still there could be some improvements.... hammocks and beach furniture looks old-ish and little dirty, standard room is very very tiny (go for suit, if possible), showers have no pressure, our toilet had bad smell, you can hear everything what's going on in the room next to you, towels and mattresses could be better quality... oh, and there is an event garden next to the hotel. So if you are unfortunate and there is event during your stay - prepare for no sleep till 3am. Instead of all mentioned above, we will be back. The pool is amazing, restaurant is good (don't expect your food to be on the table in 15min) and the sunsets - they are simply amazing.

The location is perfect. Near to Acapulco's, this hotel have a beach without people. The service was really good. But the rooms are not good. The room that I have was horrible. Y don't have hot water, and my toilet was in the shower. Really strange.

Great place to lounge about in the day, nice pool, forget swimming in the ocean as even though quite calm in the last week is is clearly dangerous. The pool is a nice feature as is the bar area so that has been done well.||||The rooms are crazy expensive and extremely bad. Noisy aircon, No TV, No internet, No hot water -- seriously its a single tap like a poor mexicans house. On the roadside it is seriously noisy - forget trying to sleep. And no blankets. forget opening a window for fresh air due to the traffic noise and there are no flyscreens to stop creepy-crawlies and mossies coming in -- I did see a tarantula walking across the road in the middle of the day -- I couldn't believe it but they are there somewhere.||||Basically the rooms are complete rubbish. I would be better off in a tent and more comfortable sleeping in my car.||||The meals are expensive but substantial and of reasonable quality.||||This place has a never again mark for sleeping from me. It is in no way, shape or form the best in pie de la cuesta. Far from it.

I've visited many times over the years. I have posted in the Vayma Acapulco section but as we all know Hacienda Vayma is in Pie de la cuesta which is about a 30 min drive from the Fiesta Americana where I usually stay. ||Vayma is a terrific boutique hotel in a very laid back and peaceful village. It's located beachfront about 1/2 Mike off the main road next to tres marias. ||The pool is terrific here along with a great swim up bar which gets alot of use from my friends yearly. The pizzas are very good usually terrific but something was missing this year. They seemed thinner crusted then in the last. Still we go for the ambiance being on the open pacific with the waves crashing while enjoying a nice cocktail in one of the palapas on the playa or swimming around their pool. ||I've never stayed at this hotel but the grounds are gorgeous and if you want to get away from it all this place is perfect. Don't expect creature comforts this is fairly rustic room wise. ||
