VE Hotel & Residence

We had a wonderful 5 nights stay at this wonderful hotel. We like that it's not too noisy and we truly enjoyed the slower and quiet atmosphere. We were always greeted warmly by the staff irregardless of the time whenever we enter of leave the front lobby. Our rooms were always neat and clean whenever we returned. The bathroom's water pressure is very good as well. It's always so relaxing to come back to our room after a long day out. Not only that,there's plenty of restaurants to choose from within walking distance from the hotel too. Our family of 6 really enjoyed our stay here and we will be back,if we are visiting KL.

I stayed at the VE hotel for a four day conference at the University of Malaysia. It was a very enjoyable experience, with a modern comfortable room that had a spacious open-concept bathroom. I stayed in the double deluxe room. The hotel is part of the Vertical towers that are connected to each other. The hotel was connected to complexes with excellent restaurants. I enjoyed lunch at the Khan restaurant in the Sphere and Hock Kee Kopitam in the Nexus shopping mall across the street. Both of these malls were reachable through walkways connected to the building. The breakfast was excellent with a live egg station, lots of options with local varieties and continental options. The infinity pool was beautiful however it was unheated and a bit uncomfortable for a nordic European. The staff was extremely helpful and since I had an early flight, packed me a decent breakfast to-go.

A comfortable and clean place to stay with good facilities and very fast Wi-Fi. The room itself was spacious, tidy, and well-maintained, making it a relaxing place to rest after a busy day. Another small detail I appreciated is that the tap water is drinkable, so you don’t have to worry about buying bottled water.I stayed here while attending a conference at The Connexion, and it was super convenient because there’s direct access from the hotel to the venue. Breakfast is quite varied and tasty, but it’s better to come a bit earlier, after 9.00 AM, some items are not refilled. Overall, a pleasant and convenient stay, especially if you’re here for events nearby.

Overall a pleasant stay. The room was spacious and came with drinking water provided, which was very convenient. The bathroom was well designed and comfortable to use, making daily routines easy and enjoyable. I also liked the TV system very much. It was modern and easy to use, with free access to iQIYI and other platforms, and listening to music was convenient as well. The system felt up to date, which was refreshing, unlike many hotels that may look nice on the outside but have outdated in room systems. However, it would be even better if a dressing table or vanity area were available, as it would make getting ready more convenient. Also, water tends to splash out of the shower area even when the door is closed, so I hope this can be improved in the future. A good experience overall, with thoughtful details and just a few areas for improvement.

I’ve stayed at VE Hotel whenever I visit KL, and this was my first trip back after a couple of years. We booked a 2-room suite this time, and overall the space was comfortable and very clean. Housekeeping standards are still well maintained, and cleanliness across the hotel is commendable. The front desk team was helpful, friendly, and prompt, which made the stay smooth. The free shuttle to Mid Valley remains extremely useful and convenient. However, I did notice a few changes compared to my previous stays. The breakfast buffet was moderate. While there was variety, the taste seemed to have declined. The chicken rendang, in particular, looked dry and unfortunately tasted like it had been reheated or recycled. There were also some noticeable cost-saving measures. Amenities provided were minimal, and for a 2-room suite with two bathrooms, the amenities were not proportionately stocked. We had to share across both bathrooms. The reusable rubber slippers definitely need reconsideration. They were uncomfortable and did not feel hygienic. In the suite’s kitchen area, a medium-sized dustbin would be helpful, as the small bins filled up quickly and led to trash overflow. Additionally, adding rubber padding under the dining chairs could help reduce noise when they are moved, especially for families staying in suites. I genuinely enjoy staying at VE Hotel and will return again because I love the location and overall comfort. I just hope the standards that made this hotel special won’t be lowered in the name of cost saving, especially when the room rates remain similar to before.

The Hotel was convenient located near to all kind of eating places, offer good package with suprise bithday amenity. When we enter the room its was very clean from all espect including toilet where i most particular with. Hotel front office check in and out was smooth. Will diffinately be back again to this hotel once we visited KL. Love everything from A to Z.

I was very disappointed with my recent stay. Upon check-in, I found someone else’s laundry left inside my assigned room — a serious lapse in housekeeping standards. When I requested a room change, I was repeatedly questioned and made to feel like my request was a burden. I was even asked whether I wanted to change rooms just to get a higher floor, which was both inappropriate and dismissive of hygiene concern I raised. Although I was eventually moved, the lack of accountability and poor service recovery were not what I expect from 4-star hotel. I hope management takes this seriously and improves both room inspection and staff service culture.

All round a very very nice hotel to stay. Very clean, nice decor and presentation, happy customer service, great views, lovely amenities and a delicious spread for the breakfast buffet. Toiletries provided, although shampoo and conditioner quite thin in consistency (not good for knotty hair but ok for short hair). The king bed was rather short and a little hard but very wide and nice blanket. 4/5 stars
