The atmosphere was very welcoming and homey, which we enjoyed. The food was good. They also gave us a delicious cheesecake on the house. Prices were similar to other places in the area. There was a lovely cat too!

We had lunch at this lovely little place in a cute little area . I loved that the menu had the ingredients of the dishes. I got eggplant imam and it was delicious and my husband got The gyro plate which he also enjoyed. The bread was also very good, and I could tell they used quality olive oil with the tomatoes they served us as well. Highly recommend. I hope I can come here again and try the other dishes

What an incredible dining experience! The food was nothing short of amazing—fresh and clearly made with love. I particularly loved the zucchini balls and the eggplant dish, both bursting with flavour. The location was perfect and the staff so friendly, I would happily dine here every night to avoid the typical tourist trap restaurants serving loveless dishes. Our waitress was exceptionally accommodating, even allowing me to try both wines before making my selection, which was a delightful touch. If you are looking for authentic Greek cuisine then I highly recommended having dinner at Veatriki!

My partner and I decided to venture to this area purely due to the high revues on this taverna. It deserves every star possible, from the service to the food, nothing could be faulted and it was just delightful. The village itself is very authentic and picturesque too. Thank you for the friendly service and beautiful food, an experience we thoroughly enjoyed :)

A nice traditional place to eat. Everything we ate was really tastefully and the service was amazing. The only bad thing was the pricing although this is something that goes on all around Corfu. Unfortunately 17 euro for a dish is something that we Greeks cant easily afford

Fantastic hosts, delicious home-made food and a local cultural experience made our holiday memorable. We stayed in the village Makrades and ate in the cafe Veatriki almost every single day. We were lucky to take part in the traditional Greek night with music, dancing and singing. It was very pleasant to sit for hours under the cafe’s pine tree during the hot part of the day. Veatriki is situated in the heart of the village with parking just around the corner near the church. Highly recommend to visit!

Veatriki Is a wonderful little Family-run Taverna right in the heart of Makrádes Village. Greek music, cosy tables and yummy Greek food and wine. What more could we ask for? The service was attentive and the food was delicious.

We went for a little wander in the village with my family and stopped there for a short break. What a delightful place. Loved the service, the fredo caffès and the baklava were excellent. It is a small family owned place and the atmosphere is as warm as it can be.
