The Best Picnic Spots in Paris, According to Locals | Vogue

"For a low‑key but unforgettable Seine picnic, I hop on the one‑hour cruise (about €10), bring a chilled rosé and my spread—both welcome on board—as the route glides past the Institut de France, the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, Notre‑Dame, and Île Saint‑Louis." - Nicole Kliest

It never gets old doing the sunset cruise. This company is particularly good. Our presenter was very personable, perfect timing in his talks. Weather was clear and cool, but not cold. Nature and service worked well to make the one hour cruise a great success! Pro tip, go ahead and get your drink in the first few minutes of the cruise so that you don’t have to interrupt your enjoyment during the good stuff.

Google
The tour was a perfect way to see the city, and I loved the French and English translations. I learned so much and the ride was so pleasant. There is plenty of time to take pictures of the sites, especially the Eiffel. Sit on the left side for the best views! *We took the 7:30 tour.

Google
We took a one hour tour boat along the Seine River in Paris, and it was a fantastic experience. The guide was excellent, explaining all the landmarks in great detail in both French and English. It’s also the most affordable tour option on the river, offering great value for the experience. I highly recommend it for anyone wanting to see Paris from a different and beautiful perspective!

Google
We booked tickets for this cruise online at the Vedettes du Pont Neuf website for the day we arrived in Paris from the US. We scheduled the 9:45 PM (21:45) cruise so that we could be sure to see the Eiffel Tower in all its shining and twinkle lights glory! And did we ever! Our tour guide that evening (so sorry, forgot his name...but one of the photos should help ID him) was wonderful—chock full of information and humor in a delightful way! Online ticketing months prior was easy! Finding the dock was easy! Finding restrooms nearby while waiting in line to board, not so much (they are available on the boat but no one told us we could access them before the cruise!). We met folks from other countries, held each other’s places in line to accommodate restroom searching and then boarded our boat. Departure was right on time, general seating allowed for inside or outside (must use stairs) viewing, beverages were available for purchase, and restrooms were easily available. The cruise itself was absolutely lovely…seeing the major sights with evening lights provided the Parisian magic we were hoping for! We highly recommend this cruise!

Google
We took the evening tour and really enjoyed it. The humorous guide really made it. Plenty of banter whilst guiding us through the Paris monuments. We booked online about an hour before to ensure we had a place as we headed towards the river. All seats are suitable for viewing and the boat is a good size compared to the oversized Bateaux Mouches..

Google
Pretty good! €15pp this is a clean, easy to find and book with upstairs (outside) and downstairs seating and a guide giving you facts and a cafe. It’s a lovely way to see the city and we saw the Eiffel Tower sparkle. I would recommend!

Google
We had a lovely evening boat tour with Vedettes du Pont Neuf. We sat on the top level of the boat and enjoyed a glass of champagne as we toured the Seine. We passed the Eiffel Tower on the way back just as it was being lit, and after the tour, we walked up on the bridge to wait for it to start sparkling. The tour company played music during the tour, and you could even request songs. It was lovely, and I would highly recommend.

Google
I've done this tour of the river many times. This is something I enjoy every time I'm in town. There was plenty of seating when I visited. The tour takes about an hour and pretty much runs on time. The tour guide spoke French and English. She did a good job of pointing out the highlights. There is a restroom at the entry by the ticket counter (but not on the boat). It is a nice way to get an overview of the city. The price has increased.

Yelp
Spending meaningful time on or around the river that runs through Paris is never a bad idea. We had already sat on the riverbanks & strolled along the promenades, now it was time to cruise the River Seine. There are several cruise companies that'll take you on the water; we chose an 8:45pm Sunset Cruise aboard Vedettes du Pont Neuf. The per-person price of 25 € for one hour includes either champagne, wine, or soda. Our tour guide threw out a couple historical fun facts in English & French, but for the most part, she played 80s yacht rock & asked for any music requests which was fun. As the sun started to set, we sailed under bridges, with the most beautiful being Pont Alexandre III, & past landmarks like Notre-Dame & Musee d'Orsay. In late August when we went, the sky was not yet completely dark as we came upon the Eiffle Tower, which was illuminated but not sparkling. The tour guide told us where to stand after our cruise to get the best view of the light show. There are bathrooms on board, & the lower deck is enclosed for protection from the cold or rain.

Yelp
A boat tour along the Seine is a must. Great way to see all the sites and get acclimated with where everything is. We enjoyed our tour very much. Our guide would say a few sentences in French and then repeat them in English. He was very knowledgeable and did a great job. Don't forget to tip! A few things to note. Sit up front if you want to be able to hear everything. The back of the boat is impossible. There is no sound back there. We did crash into something on our way out so make sure you are sitting down when they take off. I have a feeling this is a regular occurrence. They do sell drinks and snacks on board but we did not get anything so not sure of the pricing.

Yelp
I booked in advance, but it was a flexible ticket. I tried to find out in advance if we were able to use the flexible ticket for sunset hours, but my French is not strong enough. In the end we were able to use the ticket at sunset which was perfect. We opted for a cruise without food as I figured it might be difficult to accommodate allergies on a boat. The cruise was such a great idea, planned for our first night but then deferred to another night because we were too tired. It's beautiful to see all the landmarks lit up (even better after we asked the dude in front of us to stop angling his arm so strangely while he was constantly taking pictures).

Yelp
We'd considered going on the more expensive dinner cruises and came across Vendettes' sunset cruise. The price was right and included a "glass" of champagne (plastic, and not to be kept). We started out going around the île de la Cité and then headed towards the Eiffel Tower. We were not disappointed! This was truly a highlight of our trip. They timed the ride perfectly, and we got to see the sun set, and were in time to see when the Eiffel Tower started to sparkle. It truly was magical.

Yelp
This was a very nice river cruise down the Siene River. We had booked the sunset cruise. Just beautiful! Our tour guide spoke French and then repeated what he said in English. Very informative about the historical facts of Paris and the building and monuments. Relaxing cruise! Well worth the cost! Really enjoyed the tour information as we sailed up and down the Siene River!

Yelp
I hate that airlines continually overbook flights with the expectation that people will not make it. This practice should not be legal. Vedettes du Pont Neuf has an issue with overbooking their discovery cruise. Why they don't offer refunds as easily is beyond me. We arrived and they overbooked our first boat, so they told us to come back in an hour and a half. We decided to just go get dinner and come back the following day. Turns out they allow people on the boat that they lack the space for on the upper deck! My boyfriend and I were stuck standing in the back because he is 6 feet tall and we didn't want to block anyone's view.
google avatar

Christine B.

Yelp
This company offers every type of Seine cruise you might want: dinner cruise, lunch, sunset, happy hour or even just a basic discovery cruise which is the least expensive of them all. I appreciate that they cater to whatever type of experience and price point you're looking for. We thought we'd go for the sunset cruise which is also the happy hour cruise priced at 23€ and includes one glass of wine, champagne, beer or a soft drink. I was hoping to get some great shots of Paris at sunset, but since we were visiting in November we just ended up with gray gloom. That didn't take away from the enjoyment of the cruise though. It was quite cold (again, being November) but they very thoughtfully provide their guests with blankets - a nice touch. It's a wonderful feeling to be gliding down the Seine seeing all those beautiful landmarks like Notre Dame, the Louvre etc. And they always seem to stop at the Eiffel Tower just as it lights up for the evening. Very magical! We did not have running commentary. The bartender would just occasionally hop on and announce a building which was okay with us. The booking and boarding process was all very easy. My only small complaint was the music. They played very old pop music and even though it was just a one hour cruise, the songs repeated. They really needed to have better atmosphere than that and I'm sure they could do better than playing the same songs. Despite that hiccup we really enjoyed the cruise. We knew going in November would be cold and gray but loved the experience anyway, and Vedettes gives you a memorable experience. Other boats looked really packed and crowded but we felt relaxed and taken care of.

Yelp
We did this our first night in Paris, and it was a great way to start off. They timed our arrival at the Effie Tower for when it would first light up and then start flashing lights, which was very exciting. The one downside was it was difficult to hear the guide from the top of the boat. The guide was speaking in French and English.

Yelp
We are lucky to have family in France and they also took us around several times. As a local, our cousin took us to this cruise operator nearest to the Notre Dame for a ride down the River Seine. He liked this particular location because it is never jam packed with tourists like sardines. This was during July and the peak of the summer season. Which we saw at a lot of the boats that sailed past us. I felt bad seeing them crammed up against each other trying to get pictures of the scenery while we had more than ample room to leisurely move around and pick different spots, resulting in great photos and videos. Price was under 15 Euros was reasonable for a day tour of about an hour or so down the Seine River. Highly suggest putting this on your itinerary after visiting Notre Dame, versus jumping on the other cruise boat companies by the Eiffel Tower, where you are packed to the brim. I even saw some boats where people had to stand and no seating available. *TIP : stay on the left side of the boat if you want the Eiffel Tower to show up on your side

Yelp
This lovely 2 hour dinner boat cruise was one of my favorite things that we did on our trip to Paris for our 20th anniversary! I highly recommend it. Before you go, I advise you to double check and triple check where you are departing from. Depending on which cruise you have chosen, it will depart from a different area. Here on yelp, the main departure point is listed on the map, but that's only one of several possible points of departure. We had booked a cruise that left from the Alexander III Bridge location. We were confused and a little lost and showed up minutes after the boat had already departed. Disappointing! Fortunately, when we called the company and explained our error, they were understanding and let us go on a different cruise the next night instead. Really glad they helped straighten that out! The boat ride was gentle and smooth, and give us nice views of Paris at night. The most fantastic part was when it stopped by the Eiffel tower at exactly 11 PM as the lights on the tower started to sparkle. That was perfect timing! I was thrilled. The food and wine was very good, the servers were polite and attentive, and the soft background music of French songs set a pleasant mood. I'm really grateful that we followed people's suggestions and chose this cruise company over any of the others. I would love to take a dinner cruise with them again.

Yelp
Started raining heavy about 10 minutes into our cruise. rather than turn back they drove us around for an hour. I guess technically we paid for a hour boat ride and we got it, but 200 people crowded in the interior of a small boat while it was raining, whilst constantly telling everyone to be quiet was not fun at all. Nature happens sure, but this company did not handle the situation well at all. Greedy, as long as you get your euros right? 0/10 would not recommend.
google avatar

Mindy F.

Yelp
Amazing experience and the driver made it a point to get us to the Eiffel Tower in time to see it sparkle. Much appreciated and would go back.

Sagruilla P.

Yelp
Honestly probably any of the competing boat companies have the same route and offer the same core experience. This rating is for the activity of taking the boat cruise. I have done it a few times out of the many that I have been in Paris, and it's always been a highlight. Even though I tend to eschew touristy activities, this is one that is worth it. You are on a boat on the Seine. What more? You see the Pont Neuf, the Louvre, Musée d'Orsay, the first hospital, Notre Dame, and of course the Tour Eiffel. They give the tour in English and French. Our guide spoke very good English, and as I understand both languages, I can confirm that it was the same information. Taking this during the golden hour would be ideal but anytime will be a great experience. Tip: if you want to take photos, sit on an edge seat. The boat turns around so you will see almost everything twice, and your side will come along.

Yelp
Took a boat ride in France and it was with this company. The place is very close to the Lourve. Very walkable and they have multiple times to pick when you get it online. We picked a night cruise just because we wanted to see the evening lights on. It was quite pretty. The boat was pretty packed with even people from France and a ton of students with teachers taking a nice boat ride. It was also comfortable and not too rocky, also there was a lady on the speaker that spoke in French and also English, talking about the history and different houses and statues that are on the bridges.
google avatar

Lily N.

Yelp
A wonderful tour! The tour guide was very friendly, super knowledgeable, tried his best speaking different languages so everyone could understand!!! There's a cute snack spot before you board. Make really good crepes! Highly recommend!
google avatar

Boon C.

Yelp
I like the night cruise especially the last cruise to see the sprinkling light of Eiffel Tower. They have cruise start from the tower or near the Norte Dames. We pick the cruise starting point at near Norte Dames Cathedral. It went eastward first towards the Accor Arena. Then it turn back to westward towards the Eiffel Tower. The cruise like to board 45 minutes before departure. It is at the island near Square du Vert-Galant. You need to find the stair down to the dock. Along the river is really light up building. You can see many night light buildings. Includes palace and museum. The highlight of the night is reach the Eiffel Tower before nine PM. During nine PM the tower is darkened the lid with sprinkles light. Many of them. It is beautiful. That is why this cruise for.

Janet M.

Yelp
We booked the sunset cruise in Paris and it was a highlight of our trip. The boat stopped in front of the Eiffel Tower as it sparkled at 8 pm. A glass of champagne was included with our booking. Highly recommend. We had a wonderful time!
google avatar

Christina B.

Yelp
We booked this boat tour instead of the ones by the Eiffel Tower because we were staying closer to Notre Dame so the département point was more convenient. The person leading the tour was funny and charming with interesting antidotes about the city and various monuments. I have done other Paris boat tours in the past that weren't as interesting and would absolutely do this one again. We also really liked that the boat was huge compared to other companies and that they had a counter with snacks available for purchase (including wine!).

Gerry G.

Yelp
Everything, including the boat trip and the tour guide. Even purchasing tickets and waiting for our boat tour was easy and pleasant!
google avatar

Anco M.

Yelp
We decided on a 16:45 trip with the Pont Neuf vendettes. A one hour trip past all the major landmarks. A good guide gave a tour in both French and English. It was chilly, but we had a great time from the Notre Dame to the Eiffel Tower.
google avatar

Clayton P.

Yelp
This a cheaper option for river cruises. If you are looking for an excellent guide, maybe go somewhere else. Our guide spoken English and French, but didn't have much to say in English. She would go on and on in French about a sight and then say, "And, that's the Louvre" in English. An exaggeration, sure, but not much. Also, the trip was a little backwards in my opinion. We went straight to the Eiffel Tower when we should have ended that way. The end of the ride was lackluster.

Elizabeth B.

Yelp
Went last night to see the tower sparkle on the 10:15 cruise. Only got to see the top third sparkle. Very rude operator. Would not recommend this company
google avatar

Allen A.

Yelp
This is a very affordable 1 hour cruise. We did the 730 cruise which was perfect because the Eiffel Tower lights up at 8 sharp and makes for some good photos. The narrator was ok and overall we liked the cruise. Yes the snacks and drinks are a little pricey but what do you expect? We liked this cruise and if you buy online you save 3 or 4 euro per person. Our tickets were 10 each which was great.
google avatar

Lauren C.

Yelp
This was truly an amazing experience! We went at sunset and got to see the Eiffel Tower sparkle. Seeing a lot of the monuments at night is such a different experience than seeing them during the day. It did get a little chilly so bring a jacket. The tour guide was funny and very personable. Highly recommend going on this cruise.
google avatar

Mark M.

Yelp
Excellent tour on the River Thames that lasted an hour. The tour guide was pretty good. It cost €14 a person. You get to see quite a few landmarks with explanations, and the ride is fairly smooth. Seats are uncomfortable as they are made out of a tiny piece of hard plastic.
google avatar

Janice C.

Yelp
Going on a boat cruise on the River Seine is THE ultimate romantic thing to do in Paris. Get your puke bucket ready because you'll see a lot of "amore" on the boat ride and on the river banks. With departures every half hour during peak season (and every hour during winter time) you really can't pass this up. The cruise only lasts an hour but passes through the Louvre, Plaza de Concorde, Eiffel Tower, Musee d'Orsay, Notre Dame, etc. I imagine that whether you take the boat tour day or night, it will be a great, leisurely ride on the water. But I vote the night tour as the best one, so you can see the Eiffel Tower illuminated and it's dazzling lights reflecting on the water, I mean, they don't call this City of Lights for nothing. It's usually 14 euros for the boat cruise, but if you have the Discovery Walk coupon then it's only 4.50. Board at the dock station near Pont-Neuf bridge, Metro stop: Pont Neuf, Line 7.
google avatar

Chris S.

Yelp
They have a couple of boats, all different. Cruise provides a nice way to see manyof the famous attractions in Paris, at least from a distance. Live commentary was provided in both French and English. Easy location to find, close to metro.
google avatar

Kinnie I.

Yelp
Great 1 hour cruise on the Seine, very relaxing and breezy after a busy sight-seeing day in summer time Paris. We departed at 9:45 pm and saw the 10pm sparkling lights of the Eiffel Tower! What a beautiful sight from the water. Very memorable. Not expensive at $14 Euro per ticket. And this is very reasonable given most attractions in Paris are expensive. A must do!
google avatar

Steve K.

Yelp
We chose Vedettes du Pont Neuf for an 8 pm cruise on the Seine precisely because it was NOT a dinner cruise. Cruise was full hour. Most of the announcements were in French with some English. Helpful if you study the route on the Internet ahead of time. As other reviewer noted, vedette is French for small boat. Pronounced veu det. While Paris is the City of Lights, it could also be named the City of Bridges...you pass under so many. Kudos to Paris for lighting up its bridges, both sides and underneath. Cruises on the hour in Winter. Last cruise in February was 10pm. With a clear night and a partial moon, highly recommend an evening cruise. And was warm enough to sit outside. Tip: Tickets offered for 10€ (versus 13€) if purchased in advance online using a credit card. Don't need to specify a time. Ticket valid for 1 year.
google avatar

Vin S.

Yelp
We caught the last boat of the day in order to see the City at night. This departed at 10:30 PM. The tour was interesting enough, although the tour guide had a very strong accent, and she alternated between French and English, mid sentence. So it was difficult to understand what she was describing much of the time. Also parts of the boat had a strong diesel smell. But the lights of the city were beautiful, especially the Eiffel Tower and many of the beautiful bridges crossing the Seine. This compensated for the minor inconveniences of the boat. Although I haven't been on a day trip, I don't think that would be as much fun or nearly as colorful.

Dorothy S.

Yelp
Nice cruise BUT it's advertised as "live commentary in English and French". As we cruise, the cruise director would speak in French for about a minute+, then 10 seconds in English with a thick, difficult to understand, Parisian accent, giving almost no information. Good thing we had a brochure. This company also caters to school trips, day camp groups, etc. so when there is any English commentary, since the kids don't speak English, they all start screaming/talking with each other. If you're looking for English commentary with a relaxing cruise, go elsewhere.

Yelp
This hour-long cruise on the Seine actually turned out to be one of the highlights of my trip. It was on my second-to-last day in Paris, so I had already visited several of the sights visible from the Seine (ie: Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, Notre Dame Cathedral). However, it was fascinating seeing all of those places from down in the river and observing the city from an entirely different perspective. I went during the day, which was absolutely lovely, but seeing photos taken during the cruise in the evening is kind of making me wish I had gone at night to enjoy the twinkling lights of Paris after dark. If I'm ever fortunate enough to travel to Europe again, I will make it a point to go on this cruise at nighttime. My only minor gripe is that the tour guide spoke a little too fast, so I didn't catch everything she said. However, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this river cruise. It's an ideal way to rest your weary feet (after spending a tiring day sightseeing) while doing a fun activity in the process, and for a very reasonable cost to boot. I know that I, for one, enjoyed the Seine cruise immensely. What I initially only did as a minor diversion ended up being one of my most memorable experiences in Paris, and I can only hope to someday experience it again.

Yelp
Walked over one evening to the Seine and walked down to the river level to get to Vedettes du Pont Neuf. Find Pont Neuf, which is at the western end of Ile de lat Cite on the north side of the island, and you'll find this river cruise. We came at twilight and got right on board. We sat on the exposed top floor of the boat to get the best views. Cruising the Seine and seeing the Eiffel Tower all lit up was a real treat. You also get a nice cruise up and down the Seine. Narration was just OK. Very relaxing time and great sightseeing at night.
google avatar

Juanita D.

Yelp
I recently went on the the 1 boat tour through Vedettes du Pont Neuf and highly suggest to all who are looking for a relaxing & site seeing "cruise" through the river! The tour guide is wonderful and eager to share as much history and facts about each monument (eiffel tower, the lourve, etc). The tour itself is perfect for solo or group travelers, and there are plenty of picture opportunities for all! Few tips: - If you book online (which I suggest) - your able to save €2 per guest. For 2 guests, our total was around €22.00. - Get there at least 20 minutes before you depart to secure a seat. - Feel free to bring your own snacks and booze (if you don't have time, buy some at the mini bar before you board the boat)!
google avatar

Bryan B.

Yelp
A relaxing and beautiful cruise on the Seine! You can book your tickets ahead online, selecting a time slot that works for you. If you arrive early, you will have a great choice for where you want to sit. We went around 6PM and it wasn't too crowded. The sun over the Seine and beautiful views of the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame were definitely worth it.
google avatar

Chun P.

Yelp
A nice cruise on the river Seine... Here's some money saving tips: 1) Buy online and print the tickets. 10 euro vs 14 euro = save 4 euro(or $5.20) each 2) Bring your own booze...they sell it before you board, but its a rip off. 4 euro for a Kronenburg, which is a like a Miller Lite. Go to a mini market before hand and sneak it onboard. If its a sunny day, go at night. Or get roasted by the sun.

Yelp
I did a little research before deciding on a company to do a Seine river cruise with and the resounding answer given to me both online and by Parisiens was Vedettes du Pont Neuf. (Another tip was DO NOT do a dinner cruise-the food is overpriced and not very good at all) We took the hour-long Seine river cruise in June at 8pm so the sun was still out but on its way down. The light was beautiful on all the buildings, monuments, etc and I would definitely recommend going at this time, although you'll still definitely want to bring a pair of sunglasses. A night time cruise would also be very cool (and romantic), but you just wouldn't get to see all the surroundings as well as in the daytime. The tour starts at Pont Neuf and goes all the way down to the Eiffel Tower before turning around and heading back past Pont Neuf and all the way down past Ile Saint-Louis before heading back again to Pont Neuf. It is a great hour-long cruise with great commentary in both French and English. We did a double decker bus tour earlier in the day and this boat cruise put the bus tour to shame-we got so much more in the short hour on the boat than half the day on the bus. We purchased our tickets earlier in the day and arrived about 30 minutes or so before the cruise was set to leave-you don't really need to arrive this early but doing so allowed us to be first on the boat so we had our choice of seats. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Paris...and if we return we'll probably do it again!
google avatar

Denice R.

Yelp
With over 60 reviews no need to reinvent the wheel. I'll just add that this river tour was a real highlight of our visit to Paris. Affordable, entertaining, educational, and 100% family friendly. Not at all cheesy. The personalities of the bilingual tour guides really add to the experience. We were surprised at how much we enjoyed this river tour and keep saying we wouldn't mind going again every visit to Paris because it's so relaxing and such a lovely way to see Paris from the Seine.

Yelp
We decided to end the evening a river cruise. It was a tad brisk out so the boat was not all that crowded, The gentleman taking the money for the cruise didn't seem to like his job or like dealing with customers and was very short with us. We waiting with the others around the shop for the time of the cruise. We started out sitting on the top deck. Some photographers came by to take shots that you could later buy. Also, the tour guide was on top at the front of the boat. These boats can seat hundreds but there was many 30 or so on this one. Going with the wind was OK. Learned a bit about the city and a few sites. When the boat turned around to head back we decided after trying to stay warm that going downstairs would be better. Well, it was warmer but there was no guide. We could hear her talking up top but not well enough to make out what she was saying. My wife went up and told her that we could not hear her downstairs. She said the speakers were out and that there was nothing they could do about it. So we did half the tour in silence. Not exactly what I was hoping for. I asked when we landed about getting some of our money back and they said no refunds. They said it was our choice to sit where the speakers weren't working. Great customer service - not! I am not sure how you could verify all is working before you do this cruise OR just do it an stay on top where the guide is and tough out the weather. Or you could look at reviews of other lines...

Yelp
This was a very nice way to get an introduction to the sights of Paris! The tour guide spoke in both English and French, and he also added a couple jokes along the way. The tour shows a large quantity of the amazing historic sites along the Seine, as well as giving an amazing up close view of the Eiffel tour - without the lines!
google avatar

Rob P.

Yelp
This is a fun way to spend and hour and see many of the major sites along the Seine. It's a different experience than your typical bus tour. For €10 (booked online) this was a good value. One thing I really like about this tour is that it has live narration. Our guide led the tour both in French and English. She was narrating for almost the entire time. Unfortunately this was wasted on many fellow tourists who just carried on their own conversations and focused intently on getting selfies. Oh so many selfies. Anyway, she did a great job and I felt bad and put a little extra money into the guide's tip bucket since so many people exiting the boat in front of me tipped nothing.

Yelp
The night tour is Paris' best bargain--only 10 Euros for advance internet tickets!

Yelp
Good cruise. Mistake with food and went above and beyond. Appreciate the cruise.

Yelp
Great narrator, great evening boat tour. Got to see the attractions lit up at night on our last night! Definitely a must do on your trip to Paris, especially, after a few hectic days. Just sit back and relax to see the sights and lights. Staff was quite nice and helpful.

Yelp
If you are trying to figure out which Seine River Tour Company to go through while in Paris, look no further! I paid 9 Euros for an 11:30 AM tour. It was cheaper to have a tour between 10:30-12:00 PM and I thought it was a steal. The Paris weather was very cooperative and even though it was a little chilly, I still sat outside in the very front. Just make sure you bundle up. You really get to see all the major monuments in half an hour. You don't even have to make a trip to the Eiffel Tower. I give this tour company two thumbs up =)

Yelp
The good news was 2weeks later a letter from the Paris police arrived in my USMail... some kind soul turned in my wallet... everything (except the cash ) was still inside.. sent $11.00 to a friend in Paris with copy of my passport & I got it all back... Merci Paris!

Yelp
A one hour tour that was totally affordable and offered the most charming views! I am so glad we took this excursion and wish we had opted for a longer dinner cruise. The views were so different from the boat than they were from the ground because the perspective of the city from the water is not blocked by traffic or people. They had an upper and lower deck, the weather was fine so we were on the upper deck and had a clear view. I was so surprised by how easily our guide switched between languages, it was not annoying at all and I really thought it would be when I was researching tours. It was not crowded, you can get snacks and alcohol on the dock before you depart and they offer a restroom at the dock. I do not know if there was one on board.

Yelp
I loved watching my mom's face light up as we rounded the corner of the Seine and saw the Eiffel Tower! The tour guide did a great job explaining what we were looking at, and she was brief, which was appreciated as she spoke in both French and English. I especially liked that our trip was less expensive than most other options and it didn't feel like a discounted trip! It was less crowded and offered the same views! Definitely would recommend buying your tickets online to get the discount. One downside was the confusing layout of the online system. I accidentally bought 2 orders for the same set of tickets.

Yelp
I went on a boat cruise on the river, and it was great. We went at night, so it was a bit chilly but all the monuments were lit up! The tour guide was pretty engaging and provided information about what we were seeing, including the bridges. I would recommend it! It isn't too expensive, especially if you buy online. Make sure you print out your online ticket though; they collect the tickets when you board the boat. There are plenty of seats on both sides of the boat, so don't worry about that. Good cruise, would recommend!
