** The following review reflects my delivery experience DURING the COVID-19 pandemic. **
Why do I think of Earth, Wind & Fire? Oh yes..."Boogie Wonderland"...although it was The Emotions that sang those words over the familiar EWF horns. But this is Vegan Wonderland. No horns, no disco beats. No gluten either which was why I wasn't particularly tempted by pizza because I wasn't interesting in chewing on cardboard (no offense). What did draw me was the $13.95 Planet Friendly Bowl where they offered the option of a cauliflower rice base.
Well, sign me up as it was described as a vegan Korean build-a-bowl. Indeed it was as it consisted of cubes of braised tofu, pickled red onions, pickled carrots, kimchi, seasoned seaweed, green onion, and gochujang sauce (photo: https://bit.ly/3lSrrLi). Deliciously savory with enough evocation of a bibimbop to satisfy. I suppose it was overkill to order the $3.95 Garlic Cauliflower Rice, but since it was mixed liberally with garlic and (egad!) butter, who was complaining? Not me (photo: https://bit.ly/3ifgTn6). I'm going to do the electric slide in Boogie Wonderland.
