It was my first visit to Vegan Zone. I had known about it since its opening. Full disclosure, Chi, the founder of the restaurant is an old friend of mine. She went vegan just over a year ago, and within 5 months had opened up a vegan restaurant in her hometown of Hoi An. This seems incredible to me. How many other vegans can say that they have done so much within such a small time of being vegan! I should also add, that she had never worked in the food and beverage industry before. Yes, WOW!!
So, what about the food? It's delicious! The dishes are unique and we loved several of the dishes especially the lemongrass tofu and the noodle soup with all the fresh herbs. The drinks are delicious and the ambiance is lovely. The service is very good and it is very clear that this business is a labor of love.
Well done to all the team at Vegan Zone! We can't wait to come back.
