100% RECOMMENDED!!! Since the moment I called to make a reservation I noticed the friendliness of the staff, and my idea was confirmed as soon as we got there! The staff was lovely, and the food was amazing! We got the goulash and the chickpeas burger + the desert in the picture. Everything was just great!! I must say though that it was raining on the chair next to ours and no one did anything about it, luckily we weren’t sitting there.

A (relatively) hidden gem near Prague Castle, and absolutely delicious. Every bite was tasty and it’s great to have a vegan taste of traditional foods. The terrace seats are stunning (and indoor seating looks nice and cozy too!). If I am ever in Prague again, this will be one of my first stops. Service was quick and pleasant and we enjoyed every bite. The staircase up is a journey, but very worth it!

If you're wandering through Prague and craving a taste of Czech tradition with a compassionate twist, this vegan gem is a must-visit. Their plant-based take on *svíčková* is an absolute revelation—rich, creamy, and full of flavor, it honors the classic while bringing something fresh and exciting to the table. The atmosphere inside is as warm and comforting as the food. If you're lucky enough to visit on a clear day, the rooftop dining area is where the magic really happens. Overlooking the rooftops of Prague, it’s the perfect spot for a leisurely meal with a view. Fair heads-up: it is only accessible by stairs, so keep that in mind when planning your visit. Whether you're vegan or just vegan-curious, this place proves that traditional Czech cuisine doesn't need meat or dairy to feel like home. An absolute delight from start to finish! 🌿🇨🇿✨

Nice to have some Czech food without the meat. Very pleasant gluten free beers on tap. Tiny roof top view of Prague Castle.

One of the best meals we have had in Europe thus far, including compared to a $550 meal at a Michelin star restaurant in Berlin! We had the tomato tartare, the goulash and the steak. We loved it all and appreciated the kindness of the staff. We left super full and happy! PS if you want to enjoy their balcony, get reservations!

Google
I came here under the recommendation of an online article while i was searching for vegetarian restaurants in Prague. Beware: the restaurant is on the top floor without elevator, so be prepared to climb about 3 flights of stairs. I wanted a low-carb dinner option and i chose the zucchini lasagne, otherwise i would have gone for their daily special of mashed potato with veggie stew in red wine reduction. My husband had the chickpea burger. The food was tasty and the service staff was friendly. But i cannot comment much about the atmosphere though. Ordered 2 mains and 2 drinks, came to about USD45.

Google
Homey, tasty vegan food in a cosy setting with friendly, personable service. If the weather’s with you, choose the upstairs terrace, and definitely go for their homemade lemonade-passionfruit is excellent.

Google
10/10!!! The food was amazing - we had the potato goulash & the svíčkovà sauce with no-beef sirloin. It was lovely to be able to try some traditional food! Portions were huge & very filling. Service was great, staff very kind & attentive :)

Yelp
This place was so worth climbing a few extra flights of stairs. As a vegan, it's been difficult to find options that honor the Bohemian culinary traditions of Prague... until I found Vegan's Prague. The food was phenomenal and the restaurant was lively and cozy at the same time.

Yelp
We had a wonderful meal with excellent service in this amazing location. It was worth the walk up the hill and up the stairs to dine at the base of the castle wall. Special cocktail, big cold beer, and vegan preparations of two authentic Czech dishes made this a memorable evening.

Yelp
Traditional Svickova! A plant based version of a time tested dish. The dumplings were moist and fluffy. The service was hohum. They allowed us to sit then hurried us along and out the door. Not warm or friendly to us, Black and Chinese Americans that day. I just hope it was close to closing and they wanted to go home, but it felt like more than that. Definitely not soft and fluffy. End rant

Yelp
Good food and drinks; nice rooftop view. My meal at Vegan's Prague consisted of Cabbage goulash/gulas with dumplings. Czech dumplings are a bit different from the dumpling I'm familiar with; it's more like a thick bread. This was my second time have goulash ever. My first was at another restaurant in Prague that had vegan options. That was phenomenal and set the bar high for goulash for me. Compared to what I had at the other restaurant, this one was more soupy which may just be their style. It was flavorful and the dumplings were just enough for the goulash. I had the raw chocolate cake; it was just alright, I would try another dessert next time. Staff was very nice and the waitress explained the dumplings to me and was very attentive.

Yelp
I appreciate that they make traditional Czech dishes vegan, but there are better options for vegan Czech food in Prague. This was the first Czech food I had ever had and it was interesting just for being new. The dumplings were good, and the soup was good, but the cabbage goulash had a bitter aftertaste and the fake meat was dry. It was overpriced and a bit of a tourist trap in retrospect. My omnivore friend who was eating with me was very hesitant to eat any more vegan food after this.

Yelp
Amazing vegan place located on Nerudova street on the way to Prague Castle. The restaurant is situated upstairs with a cute and cozy environment. Food**** Incredible cuisine paired with delicious options for drink. Atmosphere**** Cute and cozy upstairs environment with nice outside seating. Service**** With a smile, quick and friendly Price EE More than 15 euros per dish

Yelp
First and foremost, one should be aware that this is definitely not a wheelchair accommodating restaurant. Upon entering the entrance (which we already had to walk down multiple flights of stairs), we had to walk up 4-5 flights of stairs just to get to the restaurant --and the restaurant itself also is two floors, with more space at the top floor. However, the space is super nice and clean, and it was nicely ventilated and cool with all the windows wide open. As my husband and I were planning to attend a reception afterwards, we only ordered an appetizer and dessert with drinks. I ordered the homemade lemonade made from organic grapewine juice, which was absolutely delicious! It tasted like a sparkling grape juice that was perfectly light and refreshing to cool off from the weather. Our appetizer, avocado tartar, was also good --but I think "tomato tartar" would be a more suiting name, because that's what it mostly tasted. Lastly, we got the daily special baked cake, which was their poppyseed cheesecake. My husband and I quickly found out that we weren't big fans of poppyseed, but the cheesecake part of it was still delicious :)

Yelp
Our experience at Vegan's was not a good one. The food was ok but the satisfaction burger was bland and not satisfactory; it was served on a split(broken) bun that made it a messy affair and the burger pattie was bland and had the texture of sand in my mouth. The atmosphere was as though they were cramming as many people as possible into an attic(be mindful there are a decent set of stairs to climb). We came on a day where the weather was great but Vegan's was stuffy and I felt like I was almost sharing elbow space with the people sitting at the tables next to us. We wanted to sit on their outdoor patio but we were immediately told "it's all reserved" which we understood so that atmosphere could be completely different. The service was also disappointing though not directly for us. This is a vegan restaurant that caters to the dietary restrictions of those on a vegan diet. We were fairly surprised when they said they wouldn't leave an ingredient out of one of their menu items for one of the people next to us due to dietary restrictions. This person ended up eating a sad side of potatoes instead. We will not be back.

Yelp
Went here because of the name! In Prague, it's a little challenging to find vegan food. Pro tip: Make sure that you make a reservation so you can sit outside and see the castle. Overall, its a cute restaurant and the owner and his pup are lovely! If you are not from Prague, it's a must to try the goulash

Yelp
Best advice is to climb that hill and then climb ALL THOSE STAIRS. After walking up & down Prague Castle all day, the last thing I wanted to do was climb up another hill then 4 stories to get to our dinging destination but boy am I glad I made the trek! Hot, savory & warming goulashes we're waiting on us. We chose the Traditional with potatoes and the Root Vegetable with Dumplings The traditional 2s like a hearty stew with huge tender hunks of potato, carrot, peppers and onion. The broth was incredibly flavorful! The root vegetable was like a sweet potato purée with tempeh cranberry sauce and dumplings.....just like Thanksgiving Beers to wash it all down. They only offered 1 on tap but it was a good one & paired well with our goulash So yeah.......the climb is worth it

Yelp
Like everyone else has mentioned, worth the trip up the stairs for the food and then view! Friendly, warm, and helpful staff. Had the special James Bond burger and it was on point. Also had the avocado tartar as a starter with the delicious bread! Ordered more bread because it was soo good and had more tartar to put on top of it. Definitely stop by if you make your way to the Prague Castle.

Yelp
A different eating experience from. Bellevue - but for a vegan restaurant excellent. Four stars because not easily accessible and special burger was too soft to manage in the bun. Dishes we had: shared starter platter w stuffed cucumber (cashew cheese), stuffed sweet red peppers, guacamole on homemade rye cracker and hummus. Mushroom soup was smooth and well seasoned Mains were burger special w roasted potatoes. Burger comes w avocado slices, cashew cream, tomatoes and lettuce on homemade bun w sunflower seeds. Dessert we chose was vegan chocolate banana carrot cake - dense but not overly heavy and moist and flavourful. Like a flourless cake. View from balcony is great but today was 33+. We sat indoor on top floor.

Yelp
I can't even begin to tell you how happy I was to find this place! I just happened to see the sign and we took about three flights of steps up to a gorgeous old restaurant. We were warmly greeted, both by the two gals working that night, and also by a group of about 10 European guys who invited us up onto the rooftop area where they were having drinks and smokes. We chose to sit inside where it was quiet - it wasn't very crowded for dinner on the night we arrived at around an hour before closing. I chose a soup of the day which was a green pea soup and it was very very good. Fresh and not overly salted. I went with the more traditional potato goulash and loved it while my mom ordered the vegetarian lasagna which I think had zucchini noodles if I remember correctly. Both of our entrees were absolutely delicious and I finished it up with a warm cup of ginger tea. Noms! A+ all around.

Yelp
Delicious, well prepared with love, and nutritious! After eating and sampling local and regional cuisine, this Restaurant was an oasis!

Yelp
I was so glad I decided to come here after a day of sightseeing around Prague Castle and St. Vitus Cathedral. It's just down the hill on the western end of the castle, and up a few flights of stairs. It's an entirely vegan menu with a good number of gluten-free options, all clearly indicated on the menu. (Their special of the day was a delicious-looking burger, but it was unfortunately not gluten-free.) I ended up getting the gluten-free burger on the menu, which had a loosely structured patty of vegetables and tofu, with caramelized onions, tomatoes, a bunch of arugula, and a tarragon mustard sauce, on top of a potatoes au gratin "bun" (in other words, it's an "open-faced" burger but instead of a bun, it's a stack of potatoes au gratin). It was DELICIOUS, if not a bit heavy/oily. I couldn't finish the potatoes because of how full I was, but regardless, I loved every bite. They had a few seats open on their terrace, so I snagged a seat there and enjoyed the lovely backdrop of Prague Castle while I ate. They also have wifi, which made this foreign traveler without a European SIM card very happy. The servers are very friendly and helpful. Couldn't have asked for a better mid-afternoon dining experience.

Yelp
Worth the climb. Prague has a great vegetarian scene and Vegan Prague is an exclamation point on it. This is truly vegan and worth the climb up the hill (and many stairs). Great food and fabulous service. The view is amazing...make sure to stop out on the terrace (see photo). Highly recommend

Yelp
This place was vegan, but the reason I ended up choosing it was because it was one of the few places I could find that accepted credit card in the area. You have to go up a few flights of stairs to find the place, and the restaurant is on two floors, I ended up getting seated in the upper level. I had the Svickova with smoked tempeh, and it was okay. The dumplings themselves were quite good, but the sauce and the tempeh didn't quite capture how good the comparable meat version of the dish would have been. It's probably a good substitute if you're vegan, but it isn't quite the real thing.
google avatar

Justine K.

Yelp
Wonderful view if you come before the rush or make a reservation you can enjoy the rooftop terrace. They have traditional Czech food options to choose from so you can taste a bit of the culture without feeling guilty! I tried the dumplings which were in a bed of carrot & root soup paired with bread slices. Hungarian isn't the best vegan food in my opinion, so I won't ding this place for the meal since it was good for what it was but certainly not one I'll crave. Personally I enjoyed the vegan Czech food at Restaurace Plevel more. The service is excellent, quick & friendly staff, free WiFi, and a lovely view. my server even refilled my water bottle when I requested rather than charge me for bottled water (no tap). P.s. the side salad was huge but I think I got my dose of greens in for the day

Yelp
Located in the adorable Mala Strana up many, many, many stairs, this place was a good find in Prague. I have to eat gluten free, so this place caught my eye because it had allergy friendly food marked on the menu. My sister and I got the Zucchini Lasagna and GF burger and shared the two. The lasagna was definitely a stand out and was so yummy and filling without being too heavy. The "burger" ended up being more of a stack of veggies on top of a pile of veggies, but it wasn't bad. Especially if you are partaking in Prague's famous beer culture, you may appreciate a veggie meal. Was it my favorite meal in all of Prague? Probably not, but if you are in the area and looking for something that tastes and feels good, this is a great place to go. Bonus if you can sit outside and get the view!

Yelp
Had the opportunity to grab a lite bite and the infamous honey cake. Since it's a vegan joint, they make medovnik with agave as opposed to honey and it was simply scrumptious. The best part about this restaurant is it offers amazing view of the Prague castle and on a sunny afternoon you can just savor the surroundings with coffee and cake. No elevator so be prepared to climb couple of floors but it's worth it. Must try in Prague!

Nan B.

Yelp
What a find! Two nights earlier we ate at a Michelin two star restaurant that didn't hold a candle to Vegan's Prague. We were lucky enough to get a seat on the rooftop terrace underneath Prague Castle as the sun was setting. The food was excellent. The appetizer with guac, hummus, marinated pepper rolls and cucumber cups was a great shared dish. The cabbage goulash and quinoa chickpea meatballs with tomato sauce were delicious. We are not vegans but good food is good food. The service was perfect. All this for 1/10th of what we spent at the Michelin rated restaurant in Prague!

Yelp
This place is Amazing! My son and I do not do Gluten and this place was listed as having Gluten free options...They did not disappoint!! Service was very friendly. Food was sooo Delicious loved the cute dining areas upstairs and downstairs. Menu was in English and Czech. Would totally recommend this for anyone as a MUST EAT HERE whilewhether your having lunch or dinner!!

Yelp
Your meal with an amazing view! The food was delicious! Let me start with the garlic sauce and homemade bread - might just be one of the best garlic dips! I had the svíčková and my husband had the Andy Warhol burger -- no disappointments here. We finished off with dessert of course, chocolate cake :) Be prepared to climb a few flights of stairs -- but the food, service, and view are worth it!
google avatar

Yelp
Take a few flights of stairs off the street and you'll find this quaint restaurant. The service was excellent and the food was just as great. We didn't make a reservation but they were thankfully able to squeeze us in! We hadn't had a proper meal in over a day so we decided to try a few different things. We split the soup of the day, which was a creamy cauliflower soup, and the beet salad. Both were delicious. My boyfriend got their special of the day, a veggie burger and he loved it. I went the more traditional route and got the potato goulash and it was sooooooo good! I highly recommend giving the goulash a try! So glad we have this place a try, we definitely were not disappointed!

Yelp
Had a super great experience at this restaurant with two non-vegan family members who were reluctant to eat at a vegan restaurant. We really enjoyed the "Old Bohemian vegan feast" which is puffed barley with mushrooms and vegetable, steamed buckwheat with spinach, baked millet casserole, with soyannaise, and the "traditional potatoes goulash," which is potatoes, garlic, carrot, onion, root vegetables, pepper, and gherkin. I would recommend trying both of these if you're interested. The zucchini lasagne wasn't as good, but my mom still enjoyed it. It's gratin zucchini, tomatoes, home made cashew cheese, and mainly spinach along with tomato sauce. The humus starter was just okay (I would personally order something else). The service was extremely friendly. I would highly recommend this place to vegans or non-vegans who are looking for a healthy, friendly dining experience.

Yelp
If you're a vegan, then you absolutely must make Vegan's Prague your second home when you're in town. It's located at the top of a winding stairwell near the Prague Castle about 15 minutes from the bridge. They even offer traditional Czech fare that is modified for vegans, including "Svíčková na smetaně s uzeným tempehem" which is a delicious dumpling and gravy dish made with tempeh and root vegetables. My husband loved his "Cuketové lasagne," which is a lasagna made from zucchini, cashew cheese and other tasty vegetables. Even if you're not vegan, I highly recommend coming in for a meal. It's just that good! Pro Tips: - Grab a cozy seat in the upper level, which even has a children's play area if you have small children - When the weather's nice, you can sit outside on the patio with a caste view!
google avatar

Aida A.

Yelp
Writing this while I am sitting here and finished our food. Great taste of everything we had! Zucchini lasagne great portion and it was so tasty. The Warhol and Da Vinci burgers were amazing. You have to come and sit here if you can outside and enjoy the view of the Prague Castle. Very friendly staff, great view and amazing food what more do you want?! Everything we are was fresh made you can taste it. I love seeing more vegan restaurants and that they actually take time to make everything fresh. Now to the dessert. Blueberry cheesecake and fruit dumplings also very tasty. Keep it up with the great fresh food!
google avatar

Sarah M.

Yelp
We were looking for a place to get vegan traditional styled Czech foods and this place delivered. We enjoyed everything that we ordered. I would definitely go back here if I am in Prague again. The staff were all very friendly too.
google avatar

Louis L.

Yelp
They serve an amazing food, very tasty. Service is very nice and friendly, location is top with a great view, they accept card payments (including Apple Pay). All waiters speak excellent English. And again food is (to my humble taste) very very good, will come here again :)

Kaja G.

Yelp
We came here because it was recommended to us and we were not disappointed!! To me it was the best vegan restaurant I've ever been to. The food was very delicious, nicely served and we didn't have to wait long for it at all. The staff was super friendly, in particular their dog which was so cute, and the restaurant itself had a nice interior design. If the weather is nice I recommend you to ask for a table on their terrace, you have the best view! All together I really recommend paying it a visit, also if you're not vegan.
google avatar

Cate N.

Yelp
It was our last night in Prague and my friend said that we could go to a vegan restaurant if I found one that served vegan Czech food. This place is amazing! The staff was friendly, there was a beautiful view out on the terrace, plus the food was incredible! Can't wait to come back here on my next visit to Prague.

Yelp
It was a great meal. I tried to be a vegetarian, but It was my mistake. I can not stop eating meat. I love it

Yelp
An island of sane eating in the tourist ripoffery on the approaches to Prague Castle. All the uphill roads have one million bad tourist places. I had a salad at Vegan's Prague that was an honest, large, salad filled with fresh vegetables. I saw two salads in the tourist restaurants. They were both dismal iceberg affairs. The food here is nice enough, fully fresh and vegan - making it better than the competition. The charm of the place is the ambiance. You climb three stories worth of stairs in a charming old Bohemian staircase. You climb one more story on a spiral staircase if you want to sit in the garden. The room itself has rustic charm and a lovely view of the neighboring old quaint buildings. You eat your vegetables and you relax and you could be in a chalet. If you want destination vegetarian food, there are other more exciting vegan meals in Prague. But if you are going to the Castle - this is an excellent option for lunch.
google avatar

Yelp
Such a cute little restaurant with great food! My friend had the guacamole on crackers as an entree but said that it wasn't really like guac, more like just avocado. Honestly it was only three crackers with not too much avocado, so obviously really small. I had the red burger which was great! The burger patty was very soft and super tasty. The sauce on the burger was delicious and complemented the patty well. It also came with well seasoned potatoes which was a nice touch. We finished off with some "Spider-Man cake" which was so good!!! Highly recommend.

Yelp
One of my favorite vegan restaurants I tried whilst visiting Prague! Love the location (near the Prague castle) and I love the interior decor (very cozy and Czech feeling). The food was absolutely amazing, and great service! Definitely get the bruschetta appetizer (the bread is to die for). And the vegan dumplings with tempeh was so good! My favorite "traditional vegan Czech food" I had in Prague. Get a spot on the terrace if possible! I highly recommend this place and can't wait to come back on my next visit to Prague :)

Yelp
Great vegan restaurant located near the castle. I was happy to find this restaurant in the hay stack of touristic restaurants around the castle. It's a bit hidden. There is only one sign outside the building says "vegan restaurant", then you have to climb about 2 floors of stairways to get to the restaurant. Services are extreme friendly, people are causal here. The food was served shortly after our orders. And non of the dishes disappointed us ! I love the starter: roasted pepper with eggplant. It's fresh, light but rich in taste. It dedenitiy turns on my appetite. Raw Zucchini spaghetti was delicious. It was a perfect dish for a hot day. It's basically zucchini slides into spaghetti shape, then added some cashew sauces to decorate the taste. Served in cold. I personally do not like salad, but this dish is a great substitute as for a healthy salad ! Highly recommend you to come here for a quick relaxing lunch.
google avatar

Heidi L.

Yelp
We saw this place while on our walk around Prague Castle (you can see it from the overlook). Then, on our walk back down, we actually found it and went in. You walk up several steps up to get there, but it is worth it. When you get inside, there is indoor seating as well as rooftop seating from which to choose. The staff was so courteous (one even knew of Colorado because he's a fan of the Avalanche!). Their menus include both Czech and English descriptions. We split the Red Burger and the homemade breaded dumplings with plum sauce for dinner. So delicious!!! Try their freshly made orange juice too. Next time we are in Prague, we are definitely coming back to this little gem of a place!
google avatar

Iga F.

Yelp
Loved it here, it was like homemade food with love. The goulash was good, dumplings as well. The daily soup was lentil soup, also great. I wouldn't recommend the lemonade grape because it's quite bitter and sour. The poppy seed cheesecake was also amazing ! I also would recommend the starter mix plate because everything was great on it! The staff was also very nice !!
google avatar

Yelp
Loved the food, the service and the atmosphere! Amazing traditional Czech dishes! I'm very happy we went there! Absolutely recommending!
google avatar

Yelp
This has been one of the best locations and by far the best ambient. I'm not vegan, but came with someone who is and I can truly say that I enjoyed everything I ate. Will definitely come back here. Friendly, and very attentive staff. I just wish I found this place sooner.

Yelp
Ahoj! Jsem veganka! This place is awesome and has traditional food for good prices. I really liked the vegetable goulash soup. Very filling and delicious! The waitresses were very patient and kind. I highly recommend if you are a vegan and you are in Prague! I know I will go again! This time, I hope to order in Czech!
google avatar

Marte M.

Yelp
A beautiful vegan restaurant close to the castle. We were lucky enough to get a table on the rooftop with a fantastic view of the castle. Service was excellent and the meny had about 10 different courses. I had the goulash and my friend had the GF burger. It was all delicious and we loved it. Made me happy when I saw into the kitchen and could see the chefs were 2 older ladies cooking. This is real good homemade food with a lot of love. Loved this place.
google avatar

Brian L.

Yelp
I like to pride myself for liking all vegan food but this place personally good but wasn't great. I was very hungry and Prague is known for being cheap so I already planned on eating two meals wherever I went. This place was a little more expensive than expected but nothing crazy. I order the rabbit burger and potato pancake special. The burger and potato pancake were both very good but the sides for each were bad. I didn't mind because I had to two entrees to munch on but if I only had chosen one it would had been a bigger issue. The veggies were mediocre and the onion side was simply disgusting.
google avatar

Vanessa C.

Yelp
Love this spot. Came here twice in three days. First tried the classic Czech meal and the next night heart-warming lasagna. I also highly recommend the potato goulash...I had to restrain myself from eating it all, as it was my boyfriend's meal. To top of off, the views from the rooftop balcony are superb. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Vinesh S.

Yelp
Excellent find in the tourist central of Prague. Though the food is Vegan, all items deliver and it doesn't make me miss non-vegan food. The location is with the roof top is an added bonus. Tables inside in the loft are cozy and did I say far from the touristy places a couple of stairs down below. The wine and tea is great too. Service also is great and prices very reasonable for all that it offers. If I could give this restaurant six stars, I would.

Erinn M.

Yelp
Everything is delicious! You won't be disappointed! We ordered the dumplings special and zucchini lasagna. So good!
google avatar

Yelp
I haven't tried much overall of the vegan selection in Prague, but this may be one of the best spots! I love the variety of then menu and would try anything on it. I ended up getting the satisfaction burger, with the patty made of quinoa, chickpeas, and something that had a slight kick to it. It was topped with beetroot, onions, avocado, pickles, and two sauces, and came with little baked potatoes. It was amazing! I loved the flavor profile and diversity despite not being a fan of pickles. The baked potatoes were a little bland but the messy burger allowed me to dip them in the sauce dribbled on the plate. It's a little tough to get to, halfway up or down a hill and then up three or four flights. It's a pleasant journey as it's filled with nice-smelling candles all the way up. It's in a tourist area, but the inside feels far from touristy in the little attic. I also ordered black tea, which I had no complaints. The music was an eclectic mix of '60s psychedelic rock, which I could appreciate. Pricing wasn't too bad, however when paying the waitress reminds you that the tip isn't included, a sneaky guilt trip they include for tourists.
google avatar

Asa G.

Yelp
Nice food, many vegan options. We ate there twice, the first time every thing was amazing specially the raw cake was the best I ever tried. The second time it wasn't as great but still pretty okey. It's a bit more pricey than usual places.

Yelp
I am disappointed to write this post because I had high expectations for this place...but I strongly urge you to eat elsewhere, not only for your tastebuds but also for your health. Putting aside that my friend and I both contracted food poisoning, which turned into a parasite and stomach infection that is now on its 11th day and put us both in the hospital, the food was also bland and lacked flavor. We ordered the Avocado app to start (which was good..but it's somewhat hard to mess up putting avocado on a cracker), the Czech stew, the traditional Czech platter, and the fruit dumplings. The Czech platter had an assortment of buckwheat and grain sampling sized portions and the stew was too thick and I really have no clue what was in it. For those wondering how you can contract food poisoning at a vegan restaurant: bad rice, raw vegetables and fruit that are old or poorly prepared are some of the primary culprits of carrying food diseases. I know this could be an isolated case but it certainly doesn't make up for the fact that it happened. I wouldn't wish the way I've felt for 11 days on anyone.
