Google
To find a veggie restaurant in Spain isn’t that easy. That’s why we were really happy to find this space. Service was friendly and helpful. We got the food really fast. We took the menu of the day. Even though the soup and Humus were a bit watery the rest was good and tasty. The ambient could be improved. For example Black plates and cozier lights could help.

Google
Excellent food and friendly service. Plate of the day is great value.

Google
This joint is awesome, super yummy down to earth grub in a cool, laid back and friendly atmosphere. The Vegan Harmugesa and Fried Tofu Tapas were absolutely delicious, fantastic flavor and a fully fledged, legit and knockout vegetarian menu. Everything here looks incredibly tasty and I'm definitely returning. Support local businesses!

Delicious plant based food - very easy going

Google
we visited yesterday and we will come back for sure. the food was really flavorful and delicious. the protein bowl needed a little more sauce but everything we ordered tasted great

Google
Vegan Delight offers exceptional vegan food from various cuisines. I loved the dumplings and teriyaki rice with mock chicken, but the mango lassi was the best I’ve ever had – incredibly smooth and flavorful. The service was excellent, with a wait time of only 10 mins. The staff were friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!

Give Me Food And I Am Happy

Google
Quite honestly speaking, this might be the best vegan restaurant we've been to. There is a 3-course menu (appetizer, main course, desert), which includes wine for 11€. Additionally it just tastes awesome. Hands down, one of the - or even THE - best experiences, we've had. Thanks for everything. Keep doing what you're doing. You're great!

Google
Food is fine, nothing special. Service could be improved, as simple questions about items on the menu were left unanswered. They also didn’t have everything on the daily menu.

Yelp
Un lugar muy bueno donde comer comida vegana a buen precio. I really enjoyed eating here. Great, vegan options at a great price point.

Yelp
I stopped by for a late lunch after the museum of contemporary art. While not a typical tapas restaurant it was a welcome change to have a typical NYC meal while on vacation! Food was good, prices were reasonable and everything was vegetarian!

Lynda S.

Yelp
Excellent variety of fresh produce in the salads and dishes, wonderful fresh juices - new favorite is their refreshing ginger lemon juice! Highly recommended.

Yelp
When our original destination was too crowded for us to be seated, we walked around the corner to Veggie Garden for our last lunch in Barcelona It was hard to choose but finally opted with their Daily Specials. You get to select options from a pre-set menu, to create 3-courses & also includes wine I chose the Hummus & Thali - the hummus was awesome & liked the carrots to scoop up the creamy goodness. Didn't much care for their bread - it was hard & dry. The Thali was a combo of daal, some mixed veggies & lentils. I thought most of the flavors were the same but it was filling Mr chose the Chef's Tapas & Albondigas but be was served the calzone instead. The calzone was only okay & the Mr had really been looking forward to the "meat" balls but we were not willing to send it back at that point - we had a plane to catch Apple crumble for desert was like an applesauce with crumble on top. Not bad but was hoping for chiunks of apples We felt rushed from the time we entered the place to the time we left - the waitstaff was coming up every couple of minutes to see if we were ready to order & we barely finished the last bites of our courses when they were there to clear plates. But for offering vegan in Barcelona & a fun atmosphere, have to say this place is a huge A-OK

Yelp
Excellent fresh extracted juices!!! Very healthy and fresh. Menu has ten pages of vegan items to choose form. Lunch was very popular. Will be going back for dinner soon.
google avatar

Elina A.

Yelp
We ate a "3-course" lunch with hummus, dahl and some kind of apple pie för 9,25€. It was great and yummy for that price! Wine or water is included.

Yelp
If you like Indian food this is your spot! I have to say that Indian food is not my fav but anyway it was good. The service was very kind and helpful with our "what should we order" questions.

Yelp
It's one of the best Vegan places in Barcelone. We visited Barcelona from San Francisco for 4 days and we decided goto this place twice, as we really loved the food. Momos - Awesome - 5 Stars Thali - Awesome - 5 Stars Empanada - Great - 4.5 stars Will go to this place again in our next visit
google avatar

Canny F.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this joint because I saw the word vegan and had to order something even though we were headed for dinner. I ordered the momo which was basically expensive dumplings. It had a strong Indian taste and I think this joint was Indian. It was good but I was hoping for something new.

Yelp
It was refreshing to find this place because there is almost no vegan/vegetarian food here in Spain and I eat pretty clean for the most part. Spanish food is not the best and lots of fried fatty foods. For a min I felt like I had some of those cherished conveniences of being back In LA eating good tasting healthy veg food. Definitely come here if this is what you are looking for. I will probably come back for dinner. Also not expensive so you definitely get your monies worth. Get the Thali you won't regret it. Also got the seitan burger and it was not as good as the thali.the juices are amazing and everything is very fresh and the cost is minimal compared to what you get for it. Winner!

Yelp
The sandwich comes with a generous portion for only €4.50! The Gràcia sandwich is flavorful, healthy and filling - a perfect choice for lunch. Also, if you are running late to class or work like I did, I recommend to order the sandwich to go since it only took them 5 minutes to prepare my order.

Yelp
Predictably good vegan fare! You can't go wrong ordering from their daily menu specials!
google avatar

Char L.

Yelp
Pretty disappointed with the food here. We ordered the grilled tofu, dumplings, garlic bread, and guac with Indian chips. For drinks, mojito and tequila sunrise. Grilled tofu: Ok Garlic bread: Inedible (cold and hard as a rock) Guac with Indian chips: Ok Dumplings: Best thing we ordered out of the food but nothing to jump up and down about. Drinks: Depresssing. Extremely watered down. Service was fast, although our server seemed like he had a bad cold because he kept sneezing and wiping his nose on his hand. I think it's safe to say we won't be returning here during our stay in Barcelona.

Yelp
Veggie Garden conveniently opened in late 2011, just as I was starting an intensive masters degree. A healthy, affordable, vegan kitchen just steps away from my apartment? Clearly, I ended up here multiple time per week. This is a vegan Nepalese restaurant. The owner is a warm, super friendly man named Ramesh, who is an absolute gem and always waves to me even when I'm just passing by. His wife and young son are usually around to entertain as well. They have an extensive list of fresh juices and smoothes; my favorite is carrot, orange, and ginger. If you're in the mood for a treat the Canella Vanilla smoothie has pear, walnuts, cinnamon, vanilla... it's delicious but rich. The best value is the menu de dia, which includes a starter (usually a soup, salad, hummus, or momos, Nepalese dumplings) a main course (a Thali with 3 vegan curries, stuffed eggplant, polenta, for example), bread, water or wine, and a dessert for 8,25 EUR. My one complaint would be that the bread is usually on the stale side but the food is plentiful and the price is the best I've seen in Barcelona. Enjoy!

Yelp
In my favorite quarter of Barcelona, the RAVAL, lies a jewel! The Veggie Garden was buzzing yesterday (Sunday) at 3.30pm, we snatched one last table on the 1st floor! It looks so small from the outside, but there is some more seating upstairs. People are hippy and hip, they are international and relaxed! And yeah!!! A menu just for us veggies!!!!! I was in crisis.....so much to choose from, so little time... ok, veggie burger for me, different sauces available, Thali for my partner. We also ordered an ecological beer and a Smoothie. Both tasted just fine :) Oh, how I enjoyed sitting there, caught up in the lazy Sunday-bohemian mood.... Food came quickly and we happily digged in. Ask the staff for their favorites, when you are undetermined, they are glad to advise. Best part of it all: the bill! 14,00€ for 2 people. Crazy stuff! Everybody: come in and support this cute, local business!
google avatar

Trish M.

Yelp
This was a nice, fresh place in the gothic quarter. A large juice and smoothy selection. If you have a burger, do the platter - their bun is just too big and dry for a burger
google avatar

Rachel A.

Yelp
Great samosa. Great dumplings. Seitan burger is solid. Skip the bread, kinda dry, get extra sauce. Thali was delicious. Great feel to the place.
google avatar

Chiemi N.

Yelp
My friend got a plate of potatoes, which cracked me up! But I ended up getting a delicious juice containing strawberries and a plate of salad. It was really good!

Derek B.

Yelp
Read about this place on Yelp! Very good food and great service! I was pretty hungry when I came in. The server suggested #5 Nepali Luxury Thali. Included two vegetables, one dal, chutney, achar, pakora, pickles salad, taps of chef, papadam, and rice. Very good and filling. Great recommendation! I will be back while in BCN.

Yelp
This place was amazing. I came twice when I was in Barcelona just to have their toasted bread with sundried tomato spread and arugula one more time because it was sooooo delicious!! and also to try their fresh squeezed juices which i had not done the first time. And oh man, I couldnt have made better juice myself. It was so fresh and delicious, and there is basically every combination you can imagine, the section for juices on the menu is endless! and you can also create your own. i like juice but its not something i would brag about, unless it was this amazing. and i cannot stress how delicious the appetizer is (toasted bread with sundried tomato paste and arugula - its a must have!) the first time i went i had an organic beer though, and a veggie burger. The beer was whatever, you can find it at any store that sells organic beer (its bottled), its definitely way more worth your money to get a juice. and the veggie burger was really good but its one of those really sloppy meals because they bread it made out of i dont know what natural product and comes apart easily. I didnt try anything else but the menu had a lot of options and i saw a lot of people ordering the indian dish, it seemed to be extremely popular. but i was not in the mood for indian food. the place also has wifi for those of you who travel with no service and only have connection through wifi! cheers!

Yelp
Nicely decorated bar with many options to eat and drink (whether you are vegan, vegetarian or just want to have something healthy). The staff is really kind, if you have any question or doubt just ask them and they will help you. Plus, during the time I stayed inside, they played almost the entire Beyoncé's discography which made me enjoy my meal even more (but I guess this is just irrelevant for those who are not so big fan of her...).

R M.

Yelp
I had heard such great things about their Thalis, so I went for it (the menu was so vast, I'm glad I had an idea of what I wanted before I came in, or else I could not have made a choice)! They have different size Thalis, and I think I got the smallest option. The food was exceptional, and I also got a mango lassi to sip on. Go here if you find yourself in Barcelona. You will not be disappointed by the awesome selection, fantastic quality, and good vibes at Veggie Garden!
google avatar

Tiffani H.

Yelp
Daily menu is amazing! Appetizer, main course, dessert and water or vino for only 8.50€ Service was great and everything is vegan. I got the hummus, polenta with beans and tried the thali plate all amazing! Also has really cool artwork inside
google avatar

Yelp
Recently went on my last night in Barcelona. I wasn't feeling great and wanted small meals, so this was the perfect place to go with so many vegan tapa options.
google avatar

Gülnihal Ö.

Yelp
I am not a fan of Asian cuisine. But this vegan place is heaven!!! I had the veggie burger and potato plate; it was HUGE! And SO GOOD! They have daily menus that include side dishes and juices too alongside the main dishes; for a very good price! I will definitely visit this place again when I'm in Bcn.

Yelp
I really enjoyed this restaurant- great if you want a difference in flavor in Spain. The restaurant serves vegan Indian food and fresh juices and drinks. Super light, healthy, and flavorful. Service was great. Our waiter spoke English to us and was very patient and knowledgeable, answering all of our questions. The exterior and interior of the restaurant are covered in bright colored paint and fun murals. There is a juice bar with all sorts of fresh fruits too. I ordered the Thali, which was rice and three different types of thali (basically veggie dishes in a sort of sauce form with beans and other veggies) and chautney. It was delicious. It tasted super fresh and flavorful and was a good amount of food for only €6.95. They also offer a menu del dia for €9.95 with an appetizer (my friend got the vegetable soup and said it was ok but not great), thali (same portion as my individual dish), dessert (she got the chocolate mouse which she said was great), and a glass of wine. They also offered a huge selection of fresh juices and vegan shakes that looks incredible. This place was great and would highly recommend!

Yelp
Veggie Garden is an affordable place with tasty food for vegetarian and gluten free diners. Their daily special was well prepared with fresh vegetables and the service is friendly and prompt.
google avatar

Thomas S.

Yelp
Simple and fresh, just what I was expecting for my diner! I took the pea soup, a thali and ended with a delicious smoothie : delicious! I'll be coming back with my girlfriend to try out the juices!
google avatar

S H.

Yelp
Hmmmm... Still a great place but looking a little tatty on the outside now (graffiti all over the shopfront). Also, I had the seitan burger and the bread was almost inedible. It was so dry and difficult to swallow that I needed to take the burger out and eat it without the bun. A shame as my non-Vegan friend had ordered the same and wasn't impressed. The other dishes and drinks were great though and it's still excellent value for money.
google avatar

Justine A.

Yelp
A vegan paradise in Barcelona! (you can only eat so many patatas bravas) The food we ordered was super flavorful and delicious. We split the sampler plate between me and my boyfriend. It was filling and a good price. Totally recommend it. The reason this restaurant is only getting 3 stars from me is because they completely forgot our drink order and then, after waiting about 15 minutes after finishing our food to get the bill and went in to pay, they tired to charge us for them and argued with my boyfriend claiming they indeed brought them out. The service was just all around pretty terrible. Perhaps it was a bad day, I'd still like to try it again when I'm back in town.
google avatar

Seema A.

Yelp
Great lunch specials and large portions. The indian Thali's are very good and the juices are amazing. I have not tried one bad dish there. Service is good, but a little slow. You have to go up to the counter and pay.
google avatar

Lily C.

Yelp
Our first 2 days in Barcelona we ate at this place 3 times for lunch and dinner. It was that good! All vegan, easy to access from the metro and very affordable. We love the daily menu which comes with bread, an appetizer, an entree, dessert and your choice of water or wine for 8.50 euros. We always opt for the daily menu. Great staff and atmosphere as well. Highly recommend to all! If only they opened one up in California.
google avatar

Har D.

Yelp
An eclectic atmosphere that try's real hard to make good food. A mix of india Korean Nepal and Thai thrown in. Great prices. Thali was good but daal could have been more savory. The mix veg is good and the amount will fill you up Love the small tapas but they Re filling. Tofu with peanut sauce is good but dos not enjoy soba noodles as much as they were dry The moma ( Nepali dumplings ) were superb

David T.

Yelp
We had a great time the 3 times we had dinner in Veggie Garden near the Universitat. Food was good and since I'm vegan I had the peace of mind to order whatever in the menu without thinking if they going to use dairy or other products in my food. My wife is not a vegan and still enjoyed this place very much. Atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, and is not expensive at all. We went to have dinner at Flax and Kale one night and food wasn't that good, portions was scarce and price 3 times more expensive than Veggie Garden.
google avatar

Matthew W.

Yelp
I'm pretty serious about my vegetarian restaurants, and I've been to quite a few in Barcelona. Veggie Garden is, by far, the best value of any veggie restaurant in the city! For less than 9€ you can get a huge amount of quality, delicious food! The restaurant doesn't have the most charming of facilities, and no: this won't be the best meal you'll ever have. Still, the food at Veggie Garden is tasty, adventerous, and fresh. A pretty sweet find, especially if you're looking for a casual, laid-back, quick, and easy lunch! Awesome! My one hope is that they repaint the walls of the interior (it looks a bit dirty/grungy now...).
google avatar

Neha L.

Yelp
Got a thali, soup, and milkshake of the day. I actually really liked it. It was a refresher from all the tapas ive been having..it's a nice spot and good atmosphere. The thali is super good and it's a good deal.

Juliette K.

Yelp
I love this place !!! Cheap vegan and tasty !! I recommed the thali but they also have great wraps, sandwiches and salads And their drinks are also great, I had the best vegan milkshake
google avatar

Sharon E.

Yelp
The menu of the day - available on Saturday, too - was only 8.25Euros. That's a "win" in my book. If the weather permits, and seating is available, grab a table on the patio - as the neighborhood of Raval is definitely something to soak up and enjoy. Yet not to worry - if you don't get outdoor seating, the interior's riot of brightly painted murals echoes the energy of the barrio. As for the food... I had a cold cucumber soup as a starter - flavorful and refreshing. My entree was a vegan zucchini burger served with black rice and hummus on the side. It was definitely filling. The apple crumble for dessert was kinda 'meh'... but i never count on the desserts being all that spectacular at vegan joints. My friend had the Thali for her entree - which I should have had - as I love cumin, and I could smell it from across the table. totally jealous. I'm not the biggest fan of vegan food. But they did a good job here. In a city known for its jamon y queso, this place was a very welcome veggie oasis.
google avatar

Scarlett F.

Yelp
I was nervous about straying from Gopal (which I am familiar with and love) in order to try out another restaurant that may disappoint me. Fortunately, I really liked my dinner at Veggie Garden. I read the daily menu was a bargain, but I was still surprised by just how much food I got for the price. Everything we had was good, with the exception of dessert. I liked my cake, but the chocolate mousse was just... weird. It tasted fruity and not at all like chocolate. I would still definitely go back for the good value, satisfying food, and friendly service.
google avatar

Blaire B.

Yelp
As a vegan from Los Angeles and Austin, where vegan food is widely available, I can say that the Seitan burger was amazing especially for the price. We're talking a $7 burger in LA and $6 in Austin. But for only €4.50, it was awesome. Got it with hummus. So delicious. The patty was the thickest I've ever seen. Definitely delicious band for you buck.
google avatar

Jenny S.

Yelp
One of the best vegan/vegetarian restaurants in the city! A great value for your money too! I would highly reccomend ordering off the menu del dia!
google avatar

Steven T.

Yelp
Of you want a cheap vegan meal, go here. Good portions. But you get a feeling they want you out as soon as possible. Food isn't that great. No fresh bread, sour gaspacho, sloppy vegetable tart. And don't take a look into the kitchen before eating, it's filthy. There are more vegetarian restaurants near by. Maybe a little bit more expensive but with beter food. The only upside is that this is the only one with tables outside.
google avatar

Nicole C.

Yelp
Had the gazpacho and Thali lunch menu and everything tasted fresh and delicious. We also tried the kiwi-orange-apple-mango juice and it was perfection! Would definitely go back.
google avatar

Jen F.

Yelp
What a find! My traveling companion spotted this whilst we were traipsing around the tiny sidestreets of El Raval; and perhaps more impressively, was able to find it again without the help of a GPS. This place has three major things going for it: ALL vegan, cheap, and very good portion sizes. Everything we had was quite tasty as well. They have a wide range of vegan tapas, salads, and some menu del dia type options too. Ecologique (organic) wine and beer too. If I weren't so full I would have gone for a zumo del dia (juice of the day) which are freshly made and looked so good. Definitely a good option for lunch or dinner!
google avatar

Dayna S.

Yelp
This place has a good combo of things - big menu, very relaxed setting, good prices. My friend and I both kept it simple with a huge salad - hers with hummus and mine with avocado. It's nice to have another vegan option that you can rely on.
google avatar

Christina S.

Yelp
I lived in Barcelona for 6 months and went to this place at least once a week! They use fresh and organic food for everything and you can definitely taste the difference. I am not a vegan or vegetarian and neither are most my friends and everyone still loved this place as much as me. Not only is the food amazing, but the staff is so friendly and happy all the time and can put anyone in a good mood. I recommend this place to everyone.
google avatar

Nicole W.

Yelp
Several friends recommended Veggie Garden as the MUST visit Vegan restaurant in town. I wasn't super wowed, but wouldn't say my meal was bad either. With so many other places that wowed me during our 4 days. I wouldn't rush back as there were still several places to try, but I would give this place another go.
google avatar

Marisa O.

Yelp
Riding by the bus, saw this giant VEGAN sign outside. I was famished so hubs and I got off the next exit and hustled back to the restaurant. Great and quick service. Wonderful food!

Gaurav G.

Yelp
DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. We went for dinner yesterday and took our friends for Belgium for an Indian inspired vegan experience. Let's start with the drinks...Coffee was ok. We got a mint lemonade. So tart..Almost undrinkable. Don't think u can make anything that tart without adding something artificial. Samosa... We had to return it... The potatoes were old and smelled bad. Me and my girlfriend got the burgers.. the bread felt stale. The waiter said... It was vegan hence no butter..But bread doesn't need butter to be soft. I first thought it was crumbly because it was gluten free but then they said...It had gluten. The patties were chewy and cold. My friends got the Thalia which they said was ok. The pickled onions had a bad smell. Desserts were ok. The worst part... When we told the people about our issues...They just gathered and laughed. So bottom line... Don't waste your money on this. A veggie salad in Raval is way better than this. Very disappointed
