We stopped here for a light bite, and the food was fantastic with a great variety on offer. The quality was excellent, and we found ourselves wishing we had come for a full meal to try more dishes! We had the patatas bravas and soy balls in a tomato sauce, served with rice and salad. It was a nice touch that the dish included some salad, and the portion sizes were just right. The food seemed to have a mix of influences, which made it even more interesting and enjoyable. I also had a chilli and ginger juice, which was delicious, but in hindsight, I think I’d opt for water next time to fully appreciate the flavors of the food. The juice was lovely, but it might have been better enjoyed after the meal instead of during. The interior was fun and colorful, with creative wall designs that added to the atmosphere. The staff were very friendly, and the music created a nice, welcoming vibe. I’d definitely visit again if I’m ever in Barcelona. I was just visiting with my partner, and we both really enjoyed the experience!

Thank goodness veggie lovers now have a place like this right at the heart of the city! Excellent quality-price balance, their daily menu is a great deal alltogether. We liked the curries, the noodle options and the appetizers. Fresh made juices are also delicious. Staff were professional and friendly. The space could be more welcoming and cozy, but let's not not be so demanding this time 😅

Veggie Garden delivered on the plant-based front here in Barcelona and provided a wonderful lunch experience. I was drawn to their €13 daily lunch specials which include a soup or salad, main, dessert, and either water or beer. During my visit, I had their gazpacho which was creamy and flavorful, their vegan take on moussaka with some kind of meat substitute, and a chocolate pudding. Each dish came out separately and it felt like a nice timed meal to unwind after exploring the city. Service here was friendly and they checked in on me every now and then while serving me the next dish. At the end, you can head to the counter to pay tour tab. It's a large restaurant so you should have no trouble getting a seat if you're a solo or mid-sized group. Free wi-fi available!

Great restaurant! I loved the colorful interior decoration. The place is spacious and offers tasty vegan dishes. The portions are very generous and the prices seemed fair to me. The staff is friendly and attentive. Overall, I think the quality of service was great. I would love to return to try other dishes. Highly recommended!

Google
This was a fantastic find. The food was incredible, and though I’m only in Barcelona for a few days I’m pretty sure I’ll be coming back here for dinner before I leave. The staff were also very friendly, and the decor is really bright and fun which I love. If you’re a vegan (it is 100% vegan, despite being called “Veggie” Garden) it’s must visit. And if you’re not, it’s well worth coming to as well, as you’ll definitely find something you like. It’s so well priced too. I had a three course meal with cocktail, and left a tip all for under €20.

If you are up for a nice mid-day vegan menu and happen to be close to Veggie Garden: Go there right now! The staff were super friendly, the food was glorious and fully vegan. Great prices and a very heartful atmosphere. I absolutely adore this restaurant.

We really enjoyed the soy chili rice. The tapas plate combo with supposedly 8 options for 4 people felt too little, even just for two of us. The Japanese buckwheat soba salad was ok, but perhaps the vegetables could be cut into slightly smaller pieces. Service is good, the location is convenient near the shopping areas.

Google
So good we went here for lunch twice while in Barcelona! The menu is really big with lots of choice of large and small plates. Our first visit we just had a couple of sandwiches which were really good, including the mint lemonade which was amazing! Our second visit, we both had one of the large salads, mine was the “Japonesa” which was delicious. Definitely highly recommend as a lunch place for any vegans!

Yelp
Vegan restaurant in barcelona, awesome find, we had soup of the day, which was spinach. Veggie wrap, we asked them to make it medium spicy and Nepali thali. Soup and wrap were hit and great tasting, and it was very much needed in the winter weather. Thali came with dal, hummus, salad, 2 sides, hot rice, vegetable dish, and pappad. Service was good, good quantity but when asked to pack, they put everything in one box, that was the sad part. The ambiance was very decent as well. Unfortunately, my phone drained completely, so sorry, no pics !

Yelp
After eating all kinds of food for many days in Barcelona we landed up here for a change. My 5 stars are for : -The choice of fresh fruit drinks/juices -The spread of food - The service It is a spacious and welcoming Vegetarian restaurant in a very convenient location from Metro. I can't really say which specific national cuisine the food maps to but overall it tasted very good. Lots of vegetables in the food. Generous portions. Very refreshing. The fruit juices were very refreshing and excellent in taste. Thanks to the staff.

Yelp
Disappointed! Is the nicest word that I can use. I was geniunely excited to go to this establishment. I genuinely felt like I was bothering them patronizing their establishment! The food was average at best.... I do not recommend the Mousakka, in fact I had to purchase another dish that wasnt horrible. My sister enjoyed her food which is why I gave them 2 stars. The employees need a lesson in customer service, they were dismissive when questioned, inattentive to our needs (we were not superneedy) and overall lacked knowledge of their menu and their flavor profiles. Upon my return to my hotel, I shared with the conceirge our experience and he iterated a very similar experience. My advice.......Do better!! I dont recommend this location. There are so many more. Things that I could put in this review, but I will stop here......

Yelp
Absolutely amazing food here! I visited Barcelona for a few days and ate here maybe once a day the entire time I stayed. There are so many options on the menu for you to choose from and everything is fantastic. Within walking distance of the gothic quarter and many of the hotels and shops in the area. If you're a vegan visiting Barcelona this is definitely a must-try!

Yelp
All vegan menu. Fresh juices are freshly made and great tasting. We had an orange, apple, cherry and a carrot, strawberry, kiwi, lime and ginger. Momos and hummus for starters. Momos were tasty and mildly spicy. Hummus, unfortunately, was quite bland. Tofu burger (with hummus), however, was quite tasty. I'd like to have an opportunity to sample some of the other items on the menu when I return: Samosas Seitan and tofu sausages Vegan cheese sandwich ... and lots more.

Yelp
Not the best vegetarian food but this is just based off of the veggie burger. Portions are large so great for two to share. The place is pretty busy and offers thalis too which may have been a better choice.

Yelp
We ordered a few dishes to-go. The portion of the musaka was good but the side salad a bit sad and very small--I would eat the musaka again. We also ordered popodums and we were pleasantly surprised that they were very crispy when we got home to eat them. The sauces were very good. The somosas were a good size and tasty. The veggie burger however was not as good as the other dishes. The bun was crumbly and patty was not firm. I am a fan as the ingredients tasted fresh and the service was very good.

Yelp
Loved the juices! Everyone recommended the Seitan burger..it was pretty good. Also got the Daily Menu...good deal...good food. Dry brown bread.

Yelp
We would totally come back here. Food was really good and the staff were friendly. If you don't have tattoos on your face you may feel a little out of place at times. However don't let that keep you away. We got a fixed price meal that was way more than we could eat for only 8.5 Euros, including one drink. The soup was amazing. The rice dish we had with Indian curry was good. I had cake for desert, which was a bit dry but it was still good. Every who worked they were friendly and took time to talk with us. If you are looking for a vegetarian place this is a great option. We will be back here someday.

Yelp
Amazing vegan find... I loved the eclectic offerings. However, it did make it extremely hard to decide. Went with the momos as an appetizer (a ton of Indian and Nepali items on this tapas menu) and the seitan burger for the main course. While in my opinion the momos could have steamed a tad bit longer the filling was savory and spot on. And the curry-style sauce that comes with them was outrageous. I'd bottle that and put it on everything. The burger was impressive as well. Very filling in and of itself. The seitan was solid. They only have one beer on draft and if you ask me it's all they need--one of the best draft beers I've ever had. This place sits right across from the University of Barcelona and easy to find but even if it's out of your way it is well worth making the jaunt over for some off the wall fantastic comida vegana. Oh, and speaking of walls--theirs are beautiful. The murals set off the kind of aesthetic one would hope to encounter in a Catalonian tapas bar.

Yelp
This place is so delicious has something for everyone! 100% vegan, prices range between €6-€15 and it has great variety of choices from all over the world. I'm vegan and my partner prefers meat, so we sometimes struggle agreeing on places to eat. But even he was super satisfied with the huge veggie biriyani portion and orange kiwi juice! I ordered their guacamole pesto spinach salad and was STUFFED by the end. We even got a guac tapas with Indian nachos because we loved the guac so much. Will be coming back again :)

Yelp
Awesome vegan foods. We had dinners here 3 days out of 4 days vacation here. Both lunches and dinners were all delicious. We'll definitely come back here again when we vacate here next time. Ann Pham, USA.

Yelp
Been here few times. Food is really tasty. Not very hot-spicy. Just right. Huge portions. Staff is very friendly and talkative always smiling. Drinks were strong (not good for some). I tried thali but could not finish. Nan bread was really good.

Yelp
I got the special which was 9,95€ included an appetizer (hummus), entree(Indian Thal), dessert & choice of water or wine, then a side of samosas and lime/ginger drink. All fantastic! Nice atmosphere with music and very colorful.

Yelp
I ordered a 3-course menu and the overall experience was far below my expectations, even taken the low price into account. The pre-course consisted of tasteless humus served with stale bread. Main course consisted of different Indian dishes, also tasteless. For desert, an un-eatable chocolate mousse was served. I cannot recommend this place at all.

Yelp
Excellent vegan restaurant with a variety of choice from all over the world. Quality and freshness. Very nice team. Price range 6 to 15€

Yelp
Wouldn't it be strange if I didn't give five stars to this place?? I mean, I wouldn't had checked in here so many times if I didn't really like Veggie Garden. The Japanese salad is one of my favs and the thali plate is amazing, too. Never reviewed it before because I just felt too lazy but I cannot leave from this place again without reviewing! I love love love everything, the local, the staff and specially the food. Seriously, don't even hesitate to get inside and eat anything, and plus, everything is made with healthy ingredients... What else do you need to hear to be totally convinced about this restaurant? Are you vegan? Maybe vegetarian? Neither vegan nor vegetarian and just want to eat delicious food? This is the right place. The price, you ask? Super affordable! You can leave full and satisfied for only 10€ (or even less depending on what you order...). And no, I do neither work here nor receive any money for saying all these things. This is just what happen when a place deserves the 5 stars.

Yelp
Just ate here. Not good. I thought the food would be better because there are multiple Veggie Gardens throughout Barcelona which seem to have good reviews. We tried the vegan nachos, which were a little stale even though they said it was fresh. The bread was very dry. None of the food seemed fresh. Not satisfied. We left half of our food.

Yelp
Fair prices, patient waiter and really good food! Also very colorful interior design!

Yelp
There is nothing better to say than great food and a lovely atmosphere. The guys speak English and the chef is a genius. I can only recommend that place. It is a 100% vegan place so you can choose whatever you want without asking yourself if it is "clean".

Yelp
Not going back there ever. Food is just alright and price is great but at a cost. Service is plain horrible

Yelp
Veggie Garden was a fun and colorful restaurant with an uplifting decor. They have a long menu of great dishes, so there are plenty of tasty options for everyone. We ordered almost 10 dishes, including dumplings, seitan and tofu wraps with avocado, Nepalese Thalis, delicious vegan milk shakes (all of them are good!), and a great vegan banana cake dessert. The service was really fast, and the food was fresh and full of flavor. The waiter was very nice as well. Definitely our favorite vegan/vegetarian restaurant in Barcelona, and we have been to almost all of them!

Jay H.

Yelp
Excellent vegan food, Nepali style. Plenty of gluten free options. I'll definitely come back here next time I'm in Barcelona.

Yelp
Great place for a fast, healthy, and affordable meal. The service isn't always with a smile but I've found myself here for many post workout meals and despite this fact is one of my favorite places in Barcelona. Good student atmosphere because close to the Universitat

Yelp
Very bad food and service! We had the seitan burger and the bread was at least 2 days old. Not to be recommended!

Rag P.

Yelp
Ordered daily special, veggie burger and roasted vegetables salad. Taste and textures were above expectations. Drinks menu takes 5 min to read. Decor is playful. Servo good.

Erik M.

Yelp
Fantastic eating place for vegans and vegetarians! Everything is animal-derived-free. No need to worry if your dosh contains animal derived ingredients. Will be back here when back in Barcelona!

Yelp
Correct vegan resto. Seems brand new at this location, though there's another Veggie Garden on Carrer dels Angels. The pros: spacious, attractive, clean & new. Cheap 2-course menu with bread, drink & dessert for 8,50€ included a variety of typical vegan options. Starters: carrot/orange soup, cold beet soup, hummus, mixed salad. Entrees: seitan goulash, polenta with black bean sauce, thali, & a veggie pizza-like option with vegan cheese. I ordered mixed salad & goulash. Salad was fresh & nice-sized, simple greens with carrots, onions, a little guacamole-looking mixture in the middle. Fine. Goulash was of ample size but lacked flavor, could have used actual hungarian spices instead if just a bland, tomato-y sauce. Basket of whole-grain bread served with meal was unpardonably dry; seemed day-old. Service was polite but slow. I left before dessert. Overall, a good value for its prices, cleanliness & convenient hours, but if you're looking for inventiveness or surprising tastes, this ain't it.
