A nice scenic drive up to the cave. Small parking lot outside. And there is a track path too. As mentioned by everyone else it’s 4€ entrance tix. We didn’t bring any cash and they don’t accept card. But there isn’t anything much to a see anyway. One picture by the entrance that’s it

€2 per person to enter. To get to this cave you drive up a narrow winding road and enjoy the views as to the town below as you go through terraced olive fields. Once you reach the cave there's parking for maybe 4 cars. It's interesting to visit and imagine what it may have been like for the people who lived here 10,000 B.C.

the road up to the cave was narrow but there was a decent sized parking lot by the cave. The entrance is 15kuna for adults and students get to enter for free. The cave isn’t very big but there are a lot of interesting posters you can read about the findings in the cave. There is also a nice view from the outside. Would recommend to see this place.

Above the harbour Town of Vela Luka. Beautiful town with lots of cafes and restaurants. Many hotels to choose from. The cave accessible by car or well made zig zag trail. The cave dates back to 25000 years. Excavation still going on with findings of bones and tools. 2 Euro per person to visit. Once there, a link to a website is available to listen about the history and ongoing excavations.

Very informative with a lot of thought put into it. Nice shadow during hot summer days if you get there from the walkway with information tables of trees seen there (worth the walk imho). Staff is amazing, the guy working there during our visit (early afternoon Friday July 12th) was very kind & went above and beyond to help us in all regards needed :) If you go there with bike there's a tire inflator & repair tool kit by the entry. Very pleasant experience, definitely recommended.

Quite a fascinating place where there's evidence that people lived there 20,000 years ago! Archaeologists are still excavating the area and finding new things between all the layers of rocks! We came around sunset and the light was perfect through the holes in the caves. Drive a little further and you can also get great sunset shots. There is a very small entrance fee.

The cave is a historical and archaeological landmark. Not a cave to necessarily “explore,” which is what we were hoping for. It takes 10-15 minutes to read the informative signs and look around. The view of Vela Luka from outside of the cave is stunning! We drove up from the city (5 mins). If hiking, the views may be worth the trek, but not necessarily the cave itself.

The cave itself is nice as a form of nature, but is also a little disappointment, because the inner “exhibition” is only some information boards on the wall. However the way up is nice, can be demanding in hot weather on foot, and the view is unbeatable.
