Even after our third Veld and Sea coastal foraging immersion, we learnt tons of new and exciting stuff about our amazing coastal tidal zones with all the culinary delights it has to offer! Besides being highly educational, the taste explosions and gourmet presentation of the highly imaginative dishes once again blew us away! Thanks for keeping the personal spirit and love of nature and people so deeply embedded in your holistic enterprise yet staying uncompromisingly professional and efficient to create a very well rounded and complete experience!

I had the most incredible day with Veld & Sea, Roushanna is a wealth of knowledge and I loved every sweet second of the Coastal Foraging I attended in Jbay. To think that for 39 years of living in Jbay, and suddenly a whole new chest of treasures has been opened and I’ve learnt so much about our coastline, but I also love the beautiful care that has been taken to educate people to be mindful of nature, sustainable and to take care of the ocean and land we get to enjoy. The flavours of lunch were unreal, you can’t even begin to imagine how absolutely flavoursome the food was, but also, a feast for the eyes and the soul! It’s a day I will not only treasure, but relive over and over as it exceeded all my expectations. It’s an absolute must for anyone! I can’t wait for the next one!!!! The venue is magnificent and caters for all forms of occasions and celebrations: the locally grown garden including edible weeds and indigenous plants and fynbos are the heart of the menu - not to mention the coastal foraging excursions which deliver exceptional edible seaweeds! I recently joined the wild earth alchemy experience, which was an exquisite seven day immersive learning adventure. We learnt the art of fermentation, told stories, journaled, coastal foraged, and connected with the soil, on the beautiful veld farm. The Veld and Sea team are incredibly welcoming - and hold such a depth of knowledge, that it was a joy just to be in their presence. The experience was more than learning - wild earth alchemy requires inner work: in short it was transformative. For those curious, and inquisitive lovers of the natural world, this space is for you.

I went to the Summer Coastal Forage and it was amazing! Absolutely loved it! The foraging experience is educational and great fun! I loved eating fresh wrack by the ocean! The location of Veld&Sea is absolutely awesome, the presentation and decor absolutely stunning in its beautiful natural simplicity! It felt like stepping into a magikal restaurant managed by gentle mermaids... Very unique experience that will stay with me forever! And thank you for all the care and attention that went into it! Much much appreciated :-)

A wonderful place to learn more about the beautiful nature of Cape Town and its herbs. We had a wonderful evening in that location with awesome, delicious food.
