Velero Sunset Grill restaurant

Currently my number one choice in Cabarete for dinner, always amazing views, attentive staff, some great dishes at a very reasonable price. I love the grilled chicken (800 pesos, $13.50 USD inc tax). Wine is 300 pesos, $5 for a big glass of red. Happy days:)

The food was good. The service was so so. Our servers were friendly but didn't come around enough, I finished my drink and no one asked if I wanted another. The view was awesome.

I have gone to this restaurant a few times. It’s a great restaurant for its view. It’s on the beach which always a plus but parking here is quite hectic as there really isn’t any parking. The food is ok and the service is good. Breakfast menu is actually good and quite reasonable along with their lunch menu

Best place found locally for Breakfast with free coffee and juice bar! Great, friendly, helpful staff. Good size portiond. Chips and Avacado dip is a freshly made, wonderful choice for snack or lunch. Love it here! View is Awesome too!

Outdoor dining protected from sun, wind & rain. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Happy hour from 4 pm until 6 pm offer drinks for 150 RD Peso. We ate breakfast daily and had three dinners.

Great experience. Food was delicious and well prepared, service was excellent. Four of us went for dinner and to watch the sunset. Can recommend the lobster thermidor and the tuna steak. Prices were reasonable for the setting. Good prices on some of the drinks. We made reservations, but went early to have a drink, and they seated us right away.

Hands down this restaurant can compete for the best in Caberete

Come for the view. One of my least favorite meals in the DR. Pasta was soggy. The tuna tartare was amazing, as was the tuna as a main course. The calamari was rubbery. Though we ordered a bottle of wine when we ordered our dinner, we were half way through our dinner before the waiter could open and serve our wine.
