Veliki Cafe Restaurant

This restaurant is simply great. All main dishes, as well as deserts were exactly on point. Wines and coctails are also very good. Our waiter was 10/10. Super friendly, and very knowledgeable. He wasn’t taking too much (and that is good), but only enough to slip some fun facts about food to us. Although the price range is on a higher end for the local, it is totally worth it!

I’ve been traveling around the world for 2 months now. I’ve been to 10 countries on 3 continents. The pork collar was probably the best meal I’ve had my entire trip. The tomato salad was simple and yet somehow as good as any salad I had in Greece. I’m now a lover of beef tongue. And I don’t even like sweets but the cake was refreshing, light, and I didn’t leave a single bite on my plate. This restaurant is a must-try in Novi Sad 🤤🤌🏾👌🏾

I've been staying in this beautiful cafe/restaurant for the past few days as a tourist. I am really impressed with the service, the people and the offer they provide. Food, coffee, staff... everything perfect! A sincere recommendation for anyone who will come and visit this part of Novi Sad

Restaurant Veliki is a fantastic spot for traditional Vojvodina cuisine with big portions. The menu shows rich regional flavors. Also friendly staff, and delicious desserts make a great dining choice.

From food to service experience is 10 stars! Highly recommend Breadcrumbed roasted peppers- I hate the usual way of doing it- here they are making magic with walnuts and delicate cheese... Slovak sausage is for real gourmet, just spicy and bedded on puree made from sour cabbage- delicious!

The kitchen here is amazing. I've been here twice - for breakfast and lunch, and I liked everything. Goulash soup is excellent, the buffet breakfast is even better. For 590 dinars you get a full breakfast meal, tea, and a dessert on top of that. And I should mention that desserts are very well done here, cheesecake in particular stood out for me. Worth a visit if you're looking for a decent breakfast to start your day.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The breakfast was delicious, the service was top-notch, and we enjoyed a delightful conversation with the staff who even recommended some fantastic places to visit in Serbia. Don't miss out on trying the galuška dessert; it was absolutely amazing!

We tried the local beer and poppy seed dessert. The food, beer and handmade bread were very good and tasty. We were also pleased with the service. Only the dessert seemed a little dull.
