They have some cool brands. Inventory is slim. The staff is rude, unhelpful, and indifferent—though I have seen them carefully attend to those they perceive as big spenders (the owner is nice, others not at all). The slim value they add is the ability to try things on and see the fabrics in person. Worth a look, but fails at execution and customer service. After my most recent experience, I'm just going to buy online and directly from the brands they carry that I like (e.g, mfpen, Our Legacy, Auralee).
My advice to the business is to either hire better people or train the people you have, because the products you're curating are solid. Moreover, as channel distribution opens up for some of your key brands (e.g., Our Legacy NYC store), you will lose your value if you don't make improvements. If the only competitive advantage you have is that you're the only one carrying trendy brands, you'll be out of business in 5 years or fewer when the rest of the market catches up.
