Authentic Poncha, situated in the old part of town. Good spot to sit outside and people watch.

Really not impressed. €3.50 for the smallest glass of poncha ever and was quite weak compared to others we’d had in Madeira. Staff not very helpful and were playing awful music really loud. Wouldn’t recommend

Poncha was pretty good, quite pricey compared to other places. Staff were very rude and not welcoming, clearly did not like tourists

Probably the best poncha in Funchal. There really isn't much more to say than that. It's a hole in the wall for sure and it doesn't really catch your eye but this is the one place that all the locals recommended to me for poncha. It's definitely not the ONLY place but every poncha I tried here was fresh and delicious, and it's properly sized for the price (which you can't say for some of the more touristy spots).

Relaxed bar, there are cats that live next to the pub which is a win a my eyes!

The service is very bad for the gentleman who makes the ponchas, has no idea how to treat tourists, had many expectations for the comments of trivago, but it is not really worth it, there are much better places with better attention. DO NOT RECOMMEND THE SERVICE TO THE CUSTOMER IS FUNDAMENTAL IN A SITE THAT IS TOURIST.

Good place to taste a wide variety of Poncha. The place is typical and the service is relaxed. The ponchas could be bigger. Very small glasses

Good service, the atmosphere was amazing and lively, the drinks are really delicious, and the location is excellent in the old town of Funchal, Locals and tourists flock here, and it gets so busy that everyone spills onto the surrounding streets, a great place to visit in Funchal.

Of the bars in Funchal, this place seemed to be bumping every night. They have different flavors of poncha. You can see the bartenders make the poncha at the bar. Not my favorite poncha in the area, but still does the trick. It attracts a younger crowd (college-ish)? With every order, they give you a cup of peanuts and sometimes chickpeas.
