We loved our stay here. The hotel is beautiful and has some amenities that are not common in Venice such as the rooftop bar and terrace. Giorgio at the rooftop bar was lovely - she was friendly, helpful and made amazing cocktails. We sat and enjoyed the view with our drinks on both nights of our stay. The location is amazing and walkable to everything you want to see. The waterbus stop is right outside the hotel making it very accessible to get to and you don’t have to lug your bags all over Venice. The staff were all very friendly and went above and beyond with extra touches to make our stay very special. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Amazing stay—perfect location! We had an incredible experience at this hotel! The balcony view was amazing, and the gentleman who greeted us was so kind and helpful. The beds were super comfy, and we were surprised with an afternoon treat of cookies and a fruit plate—such a lovely touch. If you’ve traveled in Europe before, you know AC can be hit or miss, but this hotel had great air conditioning. The best part though? The location. In Venice, where everything is either walking, gondola, or water taxi, having a water taxi station right outside the hotel was unbelievably convenient. We had a super early flight (out before 7am), and all it took was a few steps from the hotel to the boat, and then a few more straight into the airport. Absolute game-changer when you’re hauling luggage like I was! Highly recommend—this hotel made our Venice stay so easy and comfortable.

This is a second time staying at the Palazzo Barocci! Beautiful hotel right on the canal. This trip we had a partial view of the canal and a beautiful balcony. You can see the Rialto Bridge perfectly. Venice itself is a hopping and beautiful place, especially at night! It seemed to be more crowded then 2 years ago. Room was very clean, a bit small but the atmosphere was wonderful, breakfast in the morning is wonderful - plenty of food to choose from so definitely add that to your room! It is more expensive than other places but its right on the canal a private taxi drops you off or you can take the water taxi, its right at your front door. They opened a rooftop terrace this year which was stunning at night. Cocktails were a bite pricey that having them downstairs in the lounge but the views - WOW

We have just returned from a five day’s stay at the Palazzo Barocci hotel in Venice. It is a very special hotel and we loved staying there.|The location is great, right in the historic centre and near to everything you would wish to visit; the Rialto Bridge, San Marco Square, the Bridge of Sighs and the Peggy Guggenheim gallery and many other galleries and museums. One of the biggest benefits is that the San Angelo Vaporetto ferry stop is right outside the hotel. We did not see any other hotel that had this facility.|We were able to visit Murano island and see the famous glass workshops. We visited the Wave glass factory which allowed you into the works to see first hand Murano glass products being made. Amazingly it was free of charge! Burano Island is also worth a visit.|Breakfast is super and made to order in addition to a buffet of fruit, pastries and lots more.|The staff are so very friendly and helpful and a special thanks and recognition needs to go to Christina in the restaurant. The young man who was on duty in the afternoon until 2300 each day (25 March – 29 March 2025) was so very helpful with great tips on where to visit and eat and how to use the Vaporetto. I apologise that I did not get his name but he will know who he is.|The room was excellent. A very comfy bed and linen and the room was cleaned every day to a high standard. Fresh bottles of water were left every day. Overall an excellent quality four star hotel and we recommend it highly.

This is a gem of a hotel and we wished we could have stayed longer than one night here. We stayed overnight on 7th July and we received such a warm welcome from Fabio the General Manager and his team. Alessandro was particularly helpful in giving excellent advice navigating the best bits to see in Venice in 24 hours and where to eat out in the evening although we wished we had eaten at the hotel. Breakfast was excellent and provided a range of produce for all tastes and dietary requirements. I didn't have to ask for separate lactose free milk or gluten free bread as it was already provided as standard. You could either eat breakfast in their sunny dining room or their glorious walled garden. Ease of arrival and departure at the front of the hotel by water taxi was so straightforward with lots of luggage, I wouldn't hesitate in travelling this way again. We were treated to a plate of delights to celebrate our wedding anniversary and it made for a wonderful surprise and a very special stay. We look forward to returning to Venice and revisting your hotel in the future. Thank you for looking after us so well.

2nd time of returning to this hotel, and still great service, rooms are clean and tidy. Location is fantastic as you have st angelos boat stop right outside your hotel and very quiet. About 10-15 minutes walk to st Marcos square. The staff are always friendly and helpful and will help and advise you with information. Was served by mim in the hotel bar who was very friendly and helpful. Can’t say enough about this hotel would return here every time.
