Veneziano Coffee Richmond

A great find in Richmond Melbourne on river street. The place is cool like a brewery but roasting coffee. The coffee shop is cool and has nice ambience good coffee and things to munch.

One of the best places which makes you great coffee ☕️. Friend found this place and we went here. The coffee is strong 💪🏼 and delicious with high caffeine.

Not the best vibes. When I think brunch I think happy smiling staff and a hustling bustling atmosphere. This wasnt it - wish I read the more recent reviews before we came in. Service wasn’t great. The place was half empty on a weekend. Many staff around who conveniently ignored us standing at the please wait to be seated sign. Finally managed to flag down a staff member and she told us to feel free to pick a table anywhere ourselves. At our table, same story, kept waiting for staff to come take our order. The guy who gave us menus seemed so annoyed. Same story with another staff when we ordered desserts and when we went to pay our bill. Overall we found service was very slow, inattentive and unwelcoming. Food was decent but portions are a bit small for the prices.

I really enjoyed this spacious café with an on-site roaster—it’s a clear sign the coffee is top-notch, and it definitely lived up to expectations! We visited for brunch on the weekend and tried both the white and black coffee, which were excellent. The food was also delicious. I’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend this place.

Not to be dramatic (but fair warning, I am about to be dramatic): Veneziano is hands down the best café in Melbourne. I've been a regular for years, and their coffee consistently exceeds expectations—it's nothing short of spectacular. The food is equally impressive. And the staff are super attentive and delightful. They make every visit a pleasure.

The coffee was $5.20 and the smallest in Melbourne. Not only is the cup super small but the liquid started about a cm down from the rim of the cup. It was a flat white but the amount of froth made it like a cappuccino. $5.20. I can get a larger flat white for a dollar less from Provence bakery Hawthorn across the bridge where the pastries are also better.

Loving my Smoked Salmon Egg Benedict, and coffee was very well made! My partner ordered the pasta, it was delicious as well. Interiors looked amazing with the hugh bird of paradise and other plants, will be back to try more dishes.

Lovely cafe to work from. Beautiful big windows with lots of light. Awesome coffee. Friendly staff. Cheap and easy eating options. Music wasn’t too loud. Lots of seating. Will definitely return! 😍
