We booked a surf lesson and rented surf boards and wet suits from these guys and it was an amazing experience! Our instructor, Wagner, was the best teacher ever! He’s super passionate about what he does and it shows in his work. They were easy to communicate with and even let us drop off our wet suits and surfboards with them while we took a break and go some lunch. Would definitely recommend these guys!!

Best surf lessons in Venice. Amazing customer service. Wagner, the owner, is fantastic and does everything to make sure your experience is great. My instructor, AJ, was also really good. He’s an experienced surfer and a great instructor.

Wagner was helpful and professional. Angel, our instructor was wonderful. We had two kids age 10, and women ages 17, 26 and 42. No one had surged before. He helped everyone and everyone got up.

We had a GREAT experience with “Venice Surf Shack” We had 2 first time surfers get instruction, and were out surfing in no time at all, zero experience!!! Very fun, simple, and cool experience! Thanks, Us !

Please choose the surf shop if you don't care about No-show and late refund. He sent a message to move down start time a hour later 10 mins before the 1:1 lesson, and I agreed even though I already arrived at venice beach throughout 1 hour driving, however, he canceled in 30 mins with excuses. I think he forgot our class in the morning. And, he did refund after multiple request calls and texts from me. At the first time, he said he requested refund to card company, but it was a lie because he asked my order number when I requested a refund receipt. It taked 2 weeks until receiving a refund receipt, just receipt!! In Venice beach, you can find good sulf shops in person and be able to try sulf right away so don't book in advance.
