Thursday at Ventura's down the shore is a must!!❤️ We stopped in after finishing work at the Coastal Chateau in OCNJ for dinner and were seriously impressed—everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly done! The vibe was lively, the service was friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious (plus you get a front row view of LUCY the massive elephant structure)! Highly recommend if you're in Margate or anywhere down the shore and looking for a fun, tasty night out. Our fajitas were to die for and the buffalo chicken cauliflower pizza is a MUST! We'll definitely be back!! GOOD VIBES ONLY!

We came for mother’s day this year and had a phenomenal time. The drinks were good and they had great options for draft beers. I absolutely loved our server - I didn’t get her name though. The food came out quickly even though it was packed inside. We’ll be back to check out the upstairs!

We go upstairs- on the inside- to our favorite spot!!! The roasted garlic- with olive oil and longhots- is amazing and the bruschetta is equally phenomenal! The service is top shelf- Victoria is our favorite and she is precious! Nicole runs the show up there and no one is better!!! I typically stick with the regular menu but last night I got a special- Pork-chop Parmigiana and needless to say I couldn't be happier! If you haven't tried this spot you are missing out!!!

Went for lunch. Sat right away. Waitress was polite and attentive. Seemed busy as no other place seemed to be open. Got the pizza cheesesteak... very greasy and bland. Pricey for lunch... but your at the beach. Will try the pizza or stromboli if stop in again.

Very expensive signature drinks. Cosmo and a tequila drink on the rocks $41.00 not including the tip. Caesar salad up charged was delicious, but had to ask for fresh cracked black pepper. My dinner, scampi risotto looked beautiful, but was very bland. Tiramisu for dessert was excellent.

We love it here! Been our "go to" for years! the bar is friendly and has the best pizza on the island among other things. Upstairs dining room is unbeatable from Italian dishes to steaks to seafood and everything in between!

Normally we have a nice time there. Yes they are on the pricey side. Tonight was different. We went there close to 5pm on October 15, 2025. We had a $50 gift card. We each ordered 2 drinks from a waitress that was going off duty soon. That was okay. Paid cash bill was $38.00. Gave her a $5 tip. Then we ordered a large pizza. My hubby bought me $ 50.00 gift card for my birthday on September 30th. He paid cash. He received the card..we both have one more drink until the pizza arrives. Give the waitress the gift card to pay the bill. She says the computer doesn't except it. We tell her it's legit. She goes upstairs where they tell her it's good. Next she tells us we have to pay the bill and they will give us a new gift card. Of course being my Italian self, flip out. To make a long story short, I am a generous tipper. I won't be going back to the GH any time soon. Nor will I be buying anyone a gift card from them. I have NEVER BEEN SO INSULTED IN MY LIFE! THE Watrisses on duty tonight that waited on my husband and my self were rude and obnoxious, not to mention incompetent.

I have to say that Nicole, Andrew and Phil are the bomb. They made our experience spectacular. Such a great team! The food was fantastic and the drinks were right on point 💥
