Venue Hotel

The staff were excellent. Very friendly and extremely helpful. Hoa was attending to the rooms and was very pleasant and was prepared to do whatever to help. The reception staff provided helpful assistance with venues etc, and obtaining a late checkout was super easy. The facility itself is in a good location. The rooms however are not that big but are suitable for one person. The pictures on the web page are not quite like the rooms? The ensuite facility was quite small with the toilet so close to the wall it was impossible to get your legs around the toilet. There was filtered water available which was a bonus

We are from Vietnam and stayed at Venue Hotel Singapore for 4 days and 3 nights, and everything was just perfect! The location is very convenient, making it easy to travel around Singapore and explore different attractions. The staff provided excellent and fast service throughout our stay. We met several different front desk staff members, and all of them were professional, friendly, and always ready to help. They solved any problem quickly and made us feel very welcome. Our room (210) was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a pleasant stay. We truly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend Venue Hotel to anyone visiting Singapore!

Comfy bed, small room but ideal basic amenities with a safe and mini fridge. The room was clean except there was some dust at the table, with a bed side table, hot water shower with a glass wall separating within the toilet, air-conditioning controllable, 24 hours desk, Davin at reception is friendly and a good conversationalist providing good service. Only the rooms do not sound proof, late night or overnight noisy guests with loud conversations or tv sounds or corridors conversations disturbing to have sound sleeping. Walking distance to food, shops, super market, drinks establishments, not to far a mall and a 24 hr small 7-eleven. Overall stay is good.

My friend and I really loved our stay. Our room was clean and regularly tidied up. We also loved the charming neighborhood which was accessible both to buses and the MRT station. Although the latter is around a 10-minute walk— that's near to us already and we don't mind since it's such a walkable neighborhood. What made our stay even better though was the customer service. Thank you so much, Joseph and Davin, for being so accommodating. We appreciated all your help and assistance. 💞 We're definitely coming back and we're missing SG already. :)

The hotel is very convenient for local food and commuting. Reasonable price. Can’t complain. The best part of the hotel experience is being greeted cheerfully each morning by Davin at the reception. He is helpful and gives good recommendations too.

The soundproofing is very poor — you can constantly hear karaoke and people outside. The bathroom is supposed to be separated for wet and dry areas, but it’s almost like it isn’t; water leaks out from below. However, the front desk staff are friendly and polite.

I enjoyed my stay at The Venue Hotel, primarily because of the very good service from the staff who were always helpful and friendly. They allowed me to check-in early after my longhaul flight, I can't describe how good that shower was. They were always accommodating, securely storing my luggage for my last day in Singapore as my flight was at 10:50pm. The room was clean and had the basic amenities. The bed was comfortable and the cleaning was always of a high standard. The location was good, Joo Chiat is quite a hip area so has good coffee shops, some artsy type boutique shops but also there's a laundromat and a supermarket a few minutes walk away. It's not very close to a metro station but there are a couple of bus lines nearby and, as you know, Singapore transport is efficient. The only downside to the stay is a common one in Singapore, while the floor and the walls seem to be well sound-proofed the walls are less so, I could here someone come in late one night and take a shower😕 Overall I would recommend The Venue and would stay there again.

I stayed at the Venue Hotel on 2nd and 7th October during transfer flights. It’s an ideal option for travelers seeking a better rest during a layover compared to sleeping on the airport floor. While airport lounges or hotels charge several times more, this hotel offers a cost-effective alternative. Taking an Uber/Grab from the airport to the hotel costs around 15+ SGD. Though it’s farther from the nearest MRT station (a 15-minute walk), the lower price makes this a reasonable trade-off for budget-conscious travelers. There are also buses available nearby for those who prefer public transport. ||The room is clean and tidy, with a strong shower pressure that effectively rinses hair. ||Despite being located on a lively street with KTVs and bars, the hotel remains surprisingly quiet at night. ||The reception staff are friendly and helpful.

It's cheep, it's somewhat clean. I was here at Oct 10th and the make night staff was verbally abusing a child. Taking photos of him and screaming at him. I wanted to speak up but the staff was being really insensitive towards the child. I went to my room shaking because of how the child was so scared and the adult was yelling at him.

Aside from the location, there isn't positive things to say about the hotel. Even before we arrived, there were no responses to our emails, and when we arrived late after a long journey from KL, we were given a terrible room next to the cleaning closet, where the housekeeping staff congregated from 7 in the morning till midnight.  The room was filthy, so much so that our feet were covered in dirt after walking barefoot ... and what is up with the sad toilet paper dispenser?!? Although we enjoyed staying in a lovely residential area with great restaurant options, I would not stay in this hotel again.

This is my second night here. This is a very cozy hotel. The rooms are much smaller than I anticipated. Very small actually. I am 5'10" and my legs are almost hanging off the bed. The AC works great and the room was cooled down working a few minutes. Maybe it's because it's so small. Lol. The room is very clean and well kept. This hotel seems to be no older than two years hence everything seem to be sparkling new. The staff is very friendly, engaging in conversation and accommodating. They went above and beyond to recommend place to visit during our stay in Singapore. My whole stay here has been pleasant until the night came. There is an issue with the sewage system and the room was filled with a very unpleasant odor. We contacted the front desk and they immediately came to rectified the issue. They first brought in a machine to help remove the odor and then offered to upgrade both our rooms. This has been the most responsive the staff has been at any hotel I have visited. All in all. I would stay here again. I would be sure to book a bigger room.
