Venue Hotel

I had a friendly welcome at Venue, after a long day travelling. Staff were always friendly, polite and nothing was too much trouble if I needed extra things during my stay. The room was spotless, a good size and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, i.e. mini fridge, a safe, power shower.|I love the East Coast area of Singapore & staying on Joo Chiat road is always great. The area has many beautiful heritage houses, quirky quality shops, lots of Vietnamese restaurants, and it's close to the beach! The buses are plentiful to explore other parts of the country. Thanks to the manager Devin for a warm welcome & a perfect stay at Venue hotel!

There’s a lot of shop near the hotel such as restaurant, convenient store and even walkable to Katong Mall. The lobby area is nice with minimalist decorations. Easy to check in and the good things is no need to put deposit for a stay. The rooms is quite small but the good things is the TV got netflix and youtube 😂. Good for short gateway.

Truly enjoyed my stay in this hotel. Receptionist Joseph was very welcoming and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable, providing all basic amenities. Location was great, sitting in the middle of Joo Chiat Road, with all the good cafes a few mins walk away.

What a charming hotel with wonderful staff members, Puteri and Davin. This was the 2nd hotel I stayed at and what a pleasure. The room was a little small but it served it's purpose. The surrounding area was absolutely stunning with it's historic colourful terrace houses and buildings. The shopping mall and MRT (best way to travel grab a map from the hotel) were walkable and the food hawkers were just across the road. I would surely stay here again. Thank you Venue Hotel.

There is no soundproofing at all. You can clearly hear the TV in the next room. This hotel is not recommended for people who want a quiet sleep. Also, there is a wall in the shower room right in front of the toilet, so you can't sit up straight. Other than that it was a good hotel. There are plenty of amenities such as shampoo, soap, and toothbrushes. There are restaurants and shopping malls nearby, so you won't have any trouble finding a meal.And the staff are very friendly and helpful. The day I stayed was a Hindu holiday, so they gave me a message card and a small gift. I felt very happy.If I ever visit Singapore again, I will consider staying at this hotel.

Room is always very clean and the staff is very friendly espeically davin whom served us today was amazing. Nearby eateries are good too, joo chiat is indeed a wonderful place to visit. Will definitely return to venue hotel. I have visited venue hotel alot of times and one thing really amazes me is the standard of the hotel and the staffs.

Fine for short stay because local live TV channels being provided, but the room is comfortable and equipped with everything my mother & me needed for a relaxing day. Unique wall and ceiling design in premier queen room.

I've stayed with Venue Hotel for few days for work. The hotel is good but the room is small. Miss Puteri and Mr Davin is the staff that needs to be well known for their hard work. ||Thank you for your hospitality when im in sg! I will come back for another stay!

It's cheep, it's somewhat clean. I was here at Oct 10th and the make night staff was verbally abusing a child. Taking photos of him and screaming at him. I wanted to speak up but the staff was being really insensitive towards the child. I went to my room shaking because of how the child was so scared and the adult was yelling at him.

Aside from the location, there isn't positive things to say about the hotel. Even before we arrived, there were no responses to our emails, and when we arrived late after a long journey from KL, we were given a terrible room next to the cleaning closet, where the housekeeping staff congregated from 7 in the morning till midnight.  The room was filthy, so much so that our feet were covered in dirt after walking barefoot ... and what is up with the sad toilet paper dispenser?!? Although we enjoyed staying in a lovely residential area with great restaurant options, I would not stay in this hotel again.

This is my second night here. This is a very cozy hotel. The rooms are much smaller than I anticipated. Very small actually. I am 5'10" and my legs are almost hanging off the bed. The AC works great and the room was cooled down working a few minutes. Maybe it's because it's so small. Lol. The room is very clean and well kept. This hotel seems to be no older than two years hence everything seem to be sparkling new. The staff is very friendly, engaging in conversation and accommodating. They went above and beyond to recommend place to visit during our stay in Singapore. My whole stay here has been pleasant until the night came. There is an issue with the sewage system and the room was filled with a very unpleasant odor. We contacted the front desk and they immediately came to rectified the issue. They first brought in a machine to help remove the odor and then offered to upgrade both our rooms. This has been the most responsive the staff has been at any hotel I have visited. All in all. I would stay here again. I would be sure to book a bigger room.
