Venue Hotel

Kinda disappointed even though I knew it’s a cost effective hotel.|1. Very loud at nights: you can hear everything going on next to you. Affects sleep tremendously.|2. The shower is leaking too much. Each shower - your floor towel is soaking wet. |3. The housekeeping is not cleaning the sink and shower cabin even though I asked at the reception. We are staying for 11 days!!!|4. We asked to change the water mugs and they said to wash them by ourselves. Ok, we did, with a shampoo. Not pleasant. |5. I’ve booked a room with a bathtub, but they said it’s unavailable and gave us a smaller room. Again, I’d close my eyes on that if I was staying for 1-3 nights. |6. Mold in the shower. |7. No hand towels or hair towels. Only 1 big towel per person. Considering SG weather, when you take 2-3 showers per day, it’s very uncomfortable to use 1 wet towel the whole day.

The staff were excellent. Very friendly and extremely helpful. Hoa was attending to the rooms and was very pleasant and was prepared to do whatever to help. The reception staff provided helpful assistance with venues etc, and obtaining a late checkout was super easy. The facility itself is in a good location. The rooms however are not that big but are suitable for one person. The pictures on the web page are not quite like the rooms? The ensuite facility was quite small with the toilet so close to the wall it was impossible to get your legs around the toilet. There was filtered water available which was a bonus

It’s been a while since my last international travel, so I chose a simple hotel since we were mostly outside and not staying in much. The room was small but had all the essentials, and I appreciated having a refrigerator. The location was very convenient, close to convenience stores, food places, and malls. The staff were very polite, which made the stay pleasant.

Carole and Hao are very good. They made our stay in the hotel comfortable, fun and hassle-free. I would recommend this Hotel to my friends. Aside from friendly staff, the location is very accessible to the heritage site and affordable food. The price is also excellent!

We are from Vietnam and stayed at Venue Hotel Singapore for 4 days and 3 nights, and everything was just perfect! The location is very convenient, making it easy to travel around Singapore and explore different attractions. The staff provided excellent and fast service throughout our stay. We met several different front desk staff members, and all of them were professional, friendly, and always ready to help. They solved any problem quickly and made us feel very welcome. Our room (210) was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a pleasant stay. We truly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend Venue Hotel to anyone visiting Singapore!

My friend and I really loved our stay. Our room was clean and regularly tidied up. We also loved the charming neighborhood which was accessible both to buses and the MRT station. Although the latter is around a 10-minute walk— that's near to us already and we don't mind since it's such a walkable neighborhood. What made our stay even better though was the customer service. Thank you so much, Joseph and Davin, for being so accommodating. We appreciated all your help and assistance. 💞 We're definitely coming back and we're missing SG already. :)

The hotel is very convenient for local food and commuting. Reasonable price. Can’t complain. The best part of the hotel experience is being greeted cheerfully each morning by Davin at the reception. He is helpful and gives good recommendations too.

Sir Elvis from the hotel’s lobby/reception was very accommodating and professional. The unit itself was clean and neat. Good wifi connection. Very near the Pernakan houses. Joo chiat neighborhood is so nice and aesthetic!

It's cheep, it's somewhat clean. I was here at Oct 10th and the make night staff was verbally abusing a child. Taking photos of him and screaming at him. I wanted to speak up but the staff was being really insensitive towards the child. I went to my room shaking because of how the child was so scared and the adult was yelling at him.

Aside from the location, there isn't positive things to say about the hotel. Even before we arrived, there were no responses to our emails, and when we arrived late after a long journey from KL, we were given a terrible room next to the cleaning closet, where the housekeeping staff congregated from 7 in the morning till midnight.  The room was filthy, so much so that our feet were covered in dirt after walking barefoot ... and what is up with the sad toilet paper dispenser?!? Although we enjoyed staying in a lovely residential area with great restaurant options, I would not stay in this hotel again.

This is my second night here. This is a very cozy hotel. The rooms are much smaller than I anticipated. Very small actually. I am 5'10" and my legs are almost hanging off the bed. The AC works great and the room was cooled down working a few minutes. Maybe it's because it's so small. Lol. The room is very clean and well kept. This hotel seems to be no older than two years hence everything seem to be sparkling new. The staff is very friendly, engaging in conversation and accommodating. They went above and beyond to recommend place to visit during our stay in Singapore. My whole stay here has been pleasant until the night came. There is an issue with the sewage system and the room was filled with a very unpleasant odor. We contacted the front desk and they immediately came to rectified the issue. They first brought in a machine to help remove the odor and then offered to upgrade both our rooms. This has been the most responsive the staff has been at any hotel I have visited. All in all. I would stay here again. I would be sure to book a bigger room.
