We had a wonderful wedding (10th floor) and reception (9th floor) last night. About 160 people and perfectly sized for this size group. Great space - modern and elegant. Food and service were top notch. Blessings to Sean/Chantal and thank you again for a wonderful evening! VictorB

I'm a corporate event planner and mainly work in hotels, so I was a little nervous to book Venue Six10 on behalf of a client for a corporate meeting and networking event. I needn't have been worried because they blew me away. The venue itself is a beautiful blank slate - with so much built in AV as added value. The on-site staff was some of the best I've ever worked with, responsive and accommodating to the many requests that come in on event days. My client was thrilled and so was I. Definitely recommend.

Wow, what an amazingly unique and beautiful venue right in downtown Chicago! I couldn't imagine a more dream-like venue for our Bengali wedding to come to life. All of our guests were awestruck by the venue and it created an energy that resonated throughout our entire evening. It's also very convenient to major hotels like The Hilton and Marriott Blackstone, which was very convenient for guests. Jessica, Anna, Shiela and team were are all really nice and great to work with! They accommodated us as much as possible while also setting firm boundaries. I do wish there were a few more catering options to choose from, but we absolutely loved our caterer regardless!

Google
This venue is one of the best in Chicago. Feinberg Theater is a top-notch facility equipped with all the amenities. Spertus Institute offers a wide array of smart classrooms when not in session. The 9th and 10th floors offer an open canvas for all types of events, and includes a terrace overlooking the lake. If you're looking for a state of the arts facility in downtown, look no further than Venue Six10.

I had the pleasure of hosting my corporate event at Venue Six10. I cannot express how beautiful and elegant this venue is! I fell in love with this venue the minute I saw it. The staff was very helpful and wonderful to work with from start to finish. I would definitely host an event here again!

Yelp
Had my Daughter's wedding at the Venue, and it was very nice and excellent service from the minute you walk in to the reception hall upstairs with a view that's a Kodak moment. The quality and presentation of the food and beverage was amazing. The place was very secure and safe with every precaution necessary for any event that took place. Overall, a unique and well designed facility with the best service and quality for my daughter's wedding

Yelp
Great space for conferences ... attended one today in the health care sector was very impressed with the up keep of the space and polite staff. Will certainly try to host something here and I believe our food was catered by blue plate, pretty good!

Yelp
I recently attended a Chicago Humanities Festival (CHF) lecture at Venue SIX10. I have frequented CHF events around the city so have seen the good, bad, and occasionally ugly in terms of event locales! Venue SIX10 is an awesome location for this type of event--lecture with q and a, followed by a book signing. The theater room/lecture hall is well appointed and comfortable. I didn't realize there was an upper level, and opted to sit on the main floor, but still had a great view of the stage and could hear the speakers very well. I am hopeful that CHF holds more events at this location. Not only is the building striking, with its glass façade providing spectacular city views, but it also offers thoughtful amenities (plenty of seating, wi-fi access, snack bar, etc.) which make for a pleasant event-going experience. I arrived early and was able to see the art exhibit "From Here to There" on the ground level arts lab of the Spertus Institute for Jewish Learning and Leadership. The exhibition was immersive and included paintings, drawings, sculpture, and even video inspired by the natural world. After touring the exhibition, I am inspired to learn more about the other upcoming exhibitions, which are free and open to the public. Now that I know there is such a wealth of cultural and artistic programming here, I look forward to coming back.

Yelp
The venue was elegant with attention to detail and service. Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. celebrated 100 years at Northwestern University. This was the perfect venue for such a historic event. The staff were professional and courteous. The multilevel venue is located at the upper floors at the same address as Spertus Institute for Jewish Learning & Leadership. The building's modern ten-story, multi-faceted teal glass facade stands out among the red brick, granite and steel of Michigan Avenue. There was no valet parking, so parking was a challenge, because of the Michigan Avenue location. However, dropping off and picking up my guests in front of the building was easy, even though I had to walk to Wabash Avenue for parking. As an alternative to driving to the venue, shuttle bus services to and from the Hilton Orrington Hotel in Evanston,IL was available.

Yelp
I recently attended a one day conference at Venue SIX10 and left with a higher bar set for events. Here's why: 1) The venue is central downtown Chicago near the water, Miracle Mile, and public transportation. If you Uber/Lyft from O'Hare, it's a straight shot (Factor in an hour with traffic). The building is modern, open, and great lighting. They have studios you can use. A theater and the best view of the city from a balcony on the 9th floor. 2) The food is some of the best and most creative I've had. During the event happy hour, different booths were set up. One had custom gourmet grilled cheese. Another a build your own bao. Another had a variety of sliders. So good! 3) The staff were friendly and attentive. Each remembered me and greeted me as I walked through the entrance. If you're looking for an event space in Chicago, Venue SIX10 is a GREAT option!

Yelp
Nice venue for events. The theater room was not only beautiful, but comfortable. The theater's dust pink velvet chairs were a beautiful touch. It was a large space that easily sat 400 people. Post-conference, I sauntered the premises to find more beautiful venues for meetings, private luncheons/dinners, and parties/weddings. Certainly a spacious venue to consider for a variety of events.

Yelp
Venue SIX10 was the home of our wedding ceremony and reception in August, 2013. I cannot say enough fantastic things about the venue and catering company (Wolfgang Puck). My (now) husband and I were originally was deciding between two venues and the customer service by Venue SIX10 completely won us over thanks to Leslie (Wolfgang) and Cori Ann (Venue SIX10). I would HIGHLY recommend this unique space for your event!!! Our wedding was absolutely perfect. The teams at SIX10 went out of their way to make sure we were able to select every detail for the big day, while offering expert advice. We were even able to try a few things (table arrangements/room layout/napkin folds/gelato cart/late night Lou Malnati's) that hadn't been done before in the space and the teams were accepting and open to them. Wolfgang Puck catering was amazing. My husband and I were a lil picky on the food, so we were able to set up a second tasting to make sure everything was just perfect. And, it was better than perfect! We heard from several guests "Best chicken I've ever had at a wedding!" We went with a southern theme which also consisted of maple-bourbon sweet potatoes and smoked onion collard greens. Our guests had such a blast and couldn't believe that we had two floors of space, a terrace overlooking Michigan Avenue AND fireworks to watch at Navy Pier. If you're looking for a great wedding/event space, look no further than Venue SIX10!

Yelp
Lovely and versatile event space with great photo spots over Grant Park & the lakefront. The 9th and 10th floors were perfect for my friends' wedding this weekend, and the large space / dividers allowed 142 guests to transition seamlessly from 5pm ceremony to cocktail hour (while the family held a private tea ceremony) to dinner and dancing. The venue staff was helpful in setting up a sweet bridal changing room lined with mirrors and stocked with coffee. They also guarded the open bar's hours fiercely and helped out with some minor medical emergencies. Lots of hotel options within a few blocks (we chose Essex Inn).

Yelp
Both our 2018 events at Venue SIX10 for almost 300 people were outstanding largely due to the venue layout/amenities and expert staff. From the initial inquiry, contract logistics and detailed planning all the way through the execution of our events and post-event follow up... working with this team is the best experience. Most importantly, Venue SIX10 allowed us to bring our people together in a meaningful way and you could feel the energy throughout the space. We've received such positive feedback from our employees and we thank Venue SIX10 for making us look so good and allowing us to have so much fun! Thank you to the entire team for making these events so smooth and effortless!

Yelp
Absolutely beautiful location both inside and out! This would be a beautiful location for a wedding! All the staff was extremely nice and helpful with anything we needed. The view from this location is breathtaking and the modern design inside is gorgeous!

Yelp
This venue would work well for smaller events. But for IBM Automation 2019, it has been less than stellar. The coffee tastes like water. There is hardly any room to move in the vendor / exhibitor area. The main theatre did not have enough seats. Staff are very friendly. Again, this venue would work for small events.

Yelp
I attended an event here recently. The space is modern, large and flows nicely. I thought the two levels worked great for a cocktail hour and sit down dinner. Location was beautiful. However, the Wolfgang Puck catering staff was terrible, rude and aggressive. The person in charge, who was running around with headphones like he was on the secret service, set a hostile tone and I got the impression his staff was terrified of him. I understand when serving 200 + people at once, you must stay organized, but there are also common courtesy or even delivery techniques to make the people you are servicing feel at ease. Belittling, arguing and outright refusing service is not the way. Someone paid a lot of money to show their guests a wonderful time. I do not see how my deciding to say hello to a friend, while you are handing out coffee (with fresh new glasses) is an huge problem. The server tells me I cannot have said coffee because I do not sit at that END of the table, and I get an eye roll. This is just one of many incidents that happen through out the night. Apparently I can only speak to my designated server or the man with the headphones will come done and tell you how you're screwing up his service and how amazing he is at his job. Wrong buddy, every patron I spoke to said how terrible the service was, so no not doing a good job. Their complaints were not about getting things with military precision, but the lack of friendliness and even the smallest amount of flexibility. Again, the location was beautiful, the apps yummy, not sure about dinner, I was so anxious someone around me was going to get scolded I couldn't really enjoy it.

Yelp
An amazing event space! Attended my friends wedding here last night and it was absolutely gorgeous. Floor to ceiling windows with two levels and a large balcony facing the park. Very modern and white, but can be done up however you want with your outside event decorator.

Yelp
When we were planning our July 2017 wedding in Chicago, we wanted to make sure that we incorporated this amazing city into our day. Venue SIX10 gave us exactly that: You can't miss the amazing views over the lake from the floor-to-ceiling windows. We also got to see the fireworks at Navy Pier! Besides the views, the entire process of working with Whitney and Sheila was easy and wonderful. They were so responsive, organized, and eager to help. I hope I'll have another excuse (read: fun party) to go back to Venue SIX10 again!

Yelp
Venue SIX10 was everything we imagined and more for our wedding on July 25, 2015. When we originally met with Cori Ann to view the space, it was an easy decision for us. Aside from the gorgeous space with floor to ceiling windows and breathtaking views of the city, Cori Ann was absolutely amazing! She was so responsive through our many emails, changes, questions, and concerns and really put us at ease. She let us come in quite a few times to show off the space to our parents and never seemed bothered by the many opinions and questions that were shared. She really listened to what was important to us and offered suggestions when necessary. We also used Wolfgang Puck catering and Cori Ann & Leslie worked flawlessly together - it was as if they were one company all rolled into one. Everything went smoothly and we still get compliments on how professional and accommodating they were to us and our guests. Venue SIX10 was the perfect space for our wedding and we felt honored to share it with our family and friends.

Yelp
I came for a luncheon. The food was fine, but the service absolutely stinks. Before the luncheon began, I asked for an iced tea, which is usually a pretty simple request at these catered functions. It never came. They treated me like I was from a foreign planet. At first they said they were going to make it, but they obviously never did. Very disappointing.

Yelp
Great venue and super organized - the catering staff was excellent and super accomodating - Sylvia and Fiander (sp?) were exceptional and made us feel very welcome. FromDayOne event chose the right spot for sure!

Yelp
Who knew that this place existed? It is in a great location immediately across from Millennium Park and the space is gorgeous. The event I attended was the Jean Beanchet awards and they took a shot at Yelp, but who cares as it benefited the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. I got to see four different levels of this venue and it would be perfect for anything from a conference to a wedding. The top floor is outstanding with a great view of Millennium Park that is breathtaking at night time. I am not sure as to the cost, but from an attendee perspective it is great.

Yelp
We found Venue Six10 after months of searching for the perfect ceremony/reception space. We were looking for a place that could hold 200+ guests; offer us a unique space; and be within a walkable location to hotels. We got that, and so much more. Everyone at Venue Six10 (including the exclusive catering company Wolfgang Puck) were so welcoming and attentive to all our wants and needs, working with us on everything from budget to seating arrangements. They were always so excited to see us (at least they put on a good face) despite our constant barrage of requests and changes. I can't say enough about how special they made us feel! We held our ceremony and cocktail hour in Gallery 10 and moved our reception down a floor to Crown Hall. Both floors offered amazing views of the lake, Navy Pier, and Soldier Field. It was amazing to share our beautiful city with our guests and have such a great backdrop to our celebration. It was truly unforgettable and we got SO MANY compliments on our choice. As I said, Wolfgang Puck is the exclusive catering company at Venue Six10. The name alone holds a lot of clout but they delivered above and beyond our expectations. We decided to do food stations instead of a sit down dinner - we wanted to keep an informal feel to the party but offer something more substantial to our guests than just appetizers. Wolfgang worked with us for months to get the perfect menu and we were blown away at the tasting. Most people will tell you a tasting is the best your food will taste - taking into consideration the food is prepared just for you rather than for the masses, etc. But I'm still getting compliments from our guests, two months later! All in all I HIGHLY recommend Venue Six10 for any wedding or celebratory occasion. You won't regret it!

Yelp
I had booked Venue SIX10 for a business event on a Sunday evening in October. We were in town for a trade show and were looking for something to WOW our clients and show our appreciation. Planning the event was seamless and our guests were amazed at the location and the view. We were in the Landmark room which is the top floor and features an outdoor balcony. Our reps were raving about the location and we still receive compliments to this day! For what you get pricing was reasonable but the atmosphere and service were really what set this apart!

Ana-Liza Q.

Yelp
We hosted a corporate meeting at this venue and the majority of clients were local to Chicago and had never been to this venue -- were all very impressed by the view from the 9th floor. The event staff is detail-oriented, organized, and behaved as an extension of my team. The on-site event manager and A/V tech were responsive, alert, and diligent. The space is a blank slate that is flexible to many configurations. I would highly recommend this venue for corporate functions.

Stephanie G.

Yelp
Venue was nice if you like the contemporary feel, not intimate, not warm. The food service was most disappointing. The servers weren't used appropriately, serving one table at a time using all servers. People were hungry. They all need service about the same time. Our table, last served, received raw beef, perhaps only seared. Steaks had to be returned, others merely not eaten. Late night snacks were room temperature, not even warm and should've been hot. Left the event very hungry. Very disappointing that the parents of the bride paid enormously for the event -- not worth it. Truly a disappointing event.

John P.

Yelp
It's truly a spectacular venue. It's modern, beautiful and unique space and gives you so much room for creativity. The views of Buckingham Fountain, Grant Park, Navy Pier and Lake Michigan are some of the best in the city. We had our wedding on a Saturday night and had a perfect view of the Navy Pier fireworks, which all of our guests loved. The staff at Venue Six10 was great and easy to work with throughout the entire process. They answered all of our questions and were great accommodating any special needs we had. Would highly recommend this venue for your wedding!

Janet D.

Yelp
My son and his wife had their wedding reception at Venue SIX10 this past Saturday (10/26/19). My husband and I were so impressed. For us, it started a couple hours before the reception when we had to meet the audio-visual guy (Peter A) to test a slideshow. He was so professional and the state-of-the-art equipment made the homemade video look amazing. The sound system alone! For the reception itself, the staff was so nice, so attentive and they "worked the room" beautifully. We started on the 10th floor with hors d'oeuvres (all good!) and cocktails. The bar areas were well placed on either side so lines were never long. Then dinner was announced so the party was moved down a floor. The food was delicious (thanks to Jewel Catering). Unfortunately, the weather was bad, so the lake and Grant Park were hardly visible. Even so, the city lights in the rain had a dramatic effect... really pretty! And lastly, the dance floor was more than large enough for our group (about 250). The only complaint I heard was that the elevator guy was unfriendly, but we can handle that.

Yelp
Leslie and Cori Ann are absolutely the best to work with...I've told Leslie this, but during our tasting, if really felt like we were eating with a friend and not just our caterer. They were so accommodating, helpful, and offered little pieces of advice here and there. The night of the wedding, 07/26/14, the staff was courtesy and attentive. My sister warned me before the wedding, "Don't spend a lot, it's, just one day, the food is always mediocre and no one remembers it." When she walked into the Landing Room, i distinctly remember her going "Oh, wow". Our guests told us numerous times that the food was great and the venue looked beautiful, we HIGHLY, recommend VenueSIX10!

Yelp
I got married here last month, and everything was really great. Throughout the whole planning process, as well as day of, Jeff was very accommodating and helpful. At the wedding, the timing went just right, and everything was set up as discussed. In some cases, he and his team went above and beyond with the presentation. The space itself is really beautiful, with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the whole lakefront -- including Navy Pier fireworks! There's even a little terrace off the 10th floor with some great views. Plus, they have a parking validation deal with the Essex Inn down the street, so my guests didn't get completely gouged on parking. The venue space is housed within a Jewish facility, so until somewhat recently, they couldn't hold events Friday evenings and Saturdays. I get the impression that because they're relatively new at this, they're still relatively unknown (as a wedding venue at least), which I assume is the only reason I was able to book it for Labor Day weekend on less than 8 months notice. I would recommend this venue to anyone getting married in the Chicago area!

Kelli S.

Yelp
Venue SIX10 was perfect for our October wedding. From start to finish, the staff there could not have been more accommodating and easy to work with. I changed my mind on several things multiple times and they just went with it and it was perfect and beautiful and our guests had an amazing time. We got so many compliments on the space, it really is a gem for anyone looking for a special event venue. It was so easy to have our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception all in the same place since most of our guests were from out of town.

Faith H.

Yelp
My technology company hosted a client event here in March. The space is fantastic and the view of Chicago/ Michigan Avenue on the 10th floor is amazing!! The staff was the bestest!!! They went above and beyond to assist and ensure our event was a success. Cori Ann and Sheila were fabulous. They even were honest about their capabilities and suggested another vendor to handle certain parts of our event. If you want a great venue space and receive first class customer service then host your event at VenueSix10.
