This is our first meal in the Philippines and it was not bad. Pictured is pork sisig and veggie express, it was enough to feed 2 adults after a day of diving. Garlic rice was not that flavourful. Staff are on island time, so just enjoy and relax whilst you wait.

Lovely local restaurant serving Filipino food. Recommend the grilled squid , Kare Kare was one if the best we have had and Lumpia..lovely dinner with nice open atmosphere

One of the best local places in Moalboal. Delicious vegetarian and meat options: with the eggplant and pork dishes a particular standout. Bicol express is a dish for those with an adventurous taste - coconut milk and chillies blended into an addictive mix. Would definitely eat here every day.

Google
Lots of vegetarian options that are based on traditional Filipino dishes. Filipino food is quite meat-heavy so it was nice to find a place where I could try alternative versions of these dishes without the meat. I ate here multiple times during my stay and especially loved the egg caldo.

Google
An absolute joy for the foodie soul especially if you’re looking for authentic Filipino food along the Panagsama strip in Moalboal. Nothing beats local curries and soups that are made fresh everyday in this location. Finish your dining experience with Mango Float - it’s awesome!

The place looks really nice, but the waiting time was a bit long. The staff was kind. The food was not that great. The desserts was good, would recommend a mango float.

Yelp
Great environment, and pretty good food! We wanted some authentic Filipino food while in town. The reviews are correct when they say the pork sisig is fantastic. We also got a chorizo pancit dish that was a special which I could take or leave. The way the sausage was cooked was with a sweeter sauce that I didn't prefer and then the pancit itself was just fine.

Yelp
What an amazing find and the only gem of a restaurant in Malboal! Venz's kitchen felt very Bohemian and cool. The space is in an Al fresco setting made of of mostly bamboo and local wood. The lines for dinner are long, but certainly worth the wait. Menu is extensive and have some of the best food I experienced in all of the Phillipines (spend 20 days so tri r a bunch of places). Loved the chicken Sisig and our entire party enjoyed the dishes! Pork, chicken, seafood - all delicious and flavorful. Great staff and service. Highly recommended!

Yelp
Ven'z is the most popular restaurant in the area for a reason! They have a ton of selection, mostly of the traditional Filipino fare, and their food is quite flavorful with a multitude of ingredients, especially as it applies to a province standard. Their portions are also a bit larger than normal and for the price it is a steal! They even offer vegan dishes which is unheard of in the Philippines. Honestly though, after seeing the poor living conditions of most Filipinos -- and knowing that most would starve with the mandatory lock down that was soon to come with the pandemic -- I don't ever want to be vegan. Alas, I digress... You could tell that they place freshness in high regard as all of their seafood items must be placed well in advanced. I was sad I could not order their kinilaw in that light, but their *Chicken Afritada* (P200) did provide a superior level of comfort! They use real chicken breast, which might have been a tad over done and therefore dry, but it did not matter since the tomato-based stew was rich and well-developed. I thought it was SUPER cute how they shaped the rice into a heart. The *Mango Float* came highly recommended and the fact that most people around us were ordering it gave us high prospects. They do pre-make these and freeze them as it would be difficult to craft the mango slices into what appeared to be a rose! Super crafty and the custard on the bottom was to die for! Ven'z certainly provides a finer dining experience which isn't always the case of most restaurants and eateries in the province. They are an anomaly, but they have figured out a formula that has allowed themselves to be successful and thereby enable them to afford and source the multitude of ingredients needed to cook such tasty meals.

Yelp
Everything was delicious! Especially, the Sizzling Pork Sisig (my family of nine ordered 2 more after 1 was not enough). We got a 2nd serving of Pakbet Ilokano as well. They don't sell bottled water but they have a filtered water dispenser you must pay with coin pesos to use. All good, I got cold bottled water at a store just a few feet away. That just made more sense for my big family visiting for the first time from America. We were all dripping with sweat from the heat and humidity.

Yelp
For dinner, a group of six of us decided to check out Ven'z Kitchen for some authentic Filipino food. They were also recommended by one of my good friends who was recently in Moalboal. We dropped in on a late Monday evening (around 8:45pm) and it was busy. The service is friendly and food comes out in a reasonable time frame. The menu is consists of vegetarian, vegan, meatytarian, under the sea and beverages. For some reason, you need to call and book a day in advance for any of their seafood dishes. Cray. - Red horse (60 PHP) - Filipino beer that's a bit darker. I guess you can't complain too much; it's cheap beer. - Lumpiang Shanghai (75 PHP) - you get 5 pieces of chicken or pork springrolls. Small, standard, greasy fare. Skip these. - Pork kilawin (180 PHP) - deep fried minced pork with cucumber, onion, and ginger. - Mix vegetable yellow curry (170 PHP) - local vegetables cooked with Filipino yellow curry. Good flavour to the curry. Basically, a light version of a Thai yellow curry. - Chicken adobo (180 PHP) - cooked with soy sauce, garlic, ginger, pepper, vinegar and onion. The meat was tender and tasty but a tad on the sweet side. - Bicol express (180 PHP) - hey, vegetables! Good variety and nice to find a place that actually does vegetables properly. - Sizzling pork sisig (200 PHP) - their most popular dish. It comes with an egg that you mix up while the plate is hot and sizzling. Tasty, hot and flavourful. - Pork kare kare (200 PHP) - vegetables, peanut sauce based and mixed with shrimp. Had this dish the second time I came here with a different group. It came with a side of sambal that you could mix in to give it a bit of heat. Another tasty dish. - Ginataang talong (150 PHP) - eggplant cooked in a rich, creamy coconut sauce. Bought this to eat the next day. Decent. This is the best spot to get Filipino food in Moalboal.

Yelp
I went here based on reviews from Trip Advisor. The waitress was sweet and very prompt. I ordered the chicken lumpia and the sizzling pork sisig. She served the meal very fast and it was DELICIOUS. So far the best thing I've had in Cebu. I am here for a couple more days and I will be back to try something else before I leave. :-)

Yelp
Panagsama beach is crowded with lots of touristy eating places - but Venz was a true find! A down to earth place that serves an extensive menu of local dishes, with lots of vegetarian options, and at very reasonable prices. The food is delicious and tastes authentically Filipino! The staff are super friendly too. It does get busy though, so be prepared to wait.

Yelp
Lovely place, the best food we had in the Moalboal area so far. Very crowded and they don't take reservations so arrive early. Also if you want seafood, you need to ask in advance. Genuine Filipino and South East Asian food. We had bicol express, pork humba (local specialty) and the vegetables cooked in coconut milk. Everything was delicious.

Yelp
Ven'z Kitchen is a great spot in Panagsama beach to eat some good Filipino food. Nice selection to choose from and the price is very reasonable. Very friendly and easy going. Not a big place so get in when you can or sit at the bar.
