Vera Nidhra Bed & Breakfast

This was a charming lovely little B&B, the staff were really friendly and helpful and cared very much about the place. Really well looked after and felt like a hidden gem of a place for the price. We stayed 3 nights whilst there and if we ever visit again would consider it again.||The room was a decent size and clean. The bed was quite hard but so comfortable, we slept so well here. The place was really quiet, didn't really hear anyone come or go, very respectful owners and guests. They were really helpful, gave us a map and some ideas of what to do, see and where to eat as well as transport options. And then also arranged a taxi back to the airport for us. We had breakfast there one morning and it was really tasty, fresh fruit and a choice of cooked food options.||Location wise it was pretty good, we ate out nearby one night with lots of selection maybe 10 mins walk away. And loads of massage shops as well again 10 mins away. There is a train station about 5 mins walk away but we didn't use this as it did seem to take a while to get into the centre according to G maps, but you have to remember this is a very big capital city and it would be the same staying outside of London for example. To get into the main centre to see the big tourist sites we walked about 15 mins to get to the ferry instead and paid 40thb for a touristy ticket up the river which was a much better way of getting around and also very easy. If you don't want to walk you can get the train 1 stop down the line so would be a very easy option too. ||Overall I would definitely recommend this place, it was one of the cheapest options I found (other than hostels) and really loved it but it didn't feel particularly budget. Great local feel to the area and quiet area too away from the hustle and bustle if that is what you are looking for. You won't regret staying here!

We always stay at Vera Nidhra when arriving on an international flight into Bangkok. The B&B is located in a quiet location in Bangkok and ensures I get a good night's sleep! The host and staff are so friendly and welcoming. We pay for the Thai breakfast and it is delicious. The room is always clean and comfortable. If you want to be close to the city attractions, but want a quiet location - this is the place to stay.

Vera Nidhara is excellent in every way! I really can't say enough good things. For the past five years, I have been come to Bangkok often for work and leisure, and each time I stay at Vera Nidhara. The bed and breakfast occupies a former shophouse, and the owner has renovated it to create a cozy, inviting homelike feeling, while still ensuring absolute guest privacy. The rooms are spacious and bright, each with large en suite. The beds, pillows, and linens are very comfortable and are of a high standard. Housekeeping in the rooms and cleanliness around the common areas are impeccable - always spotless and perfect. Vera Nidhara is located less than 5 minutes walking distance from BTS Krung Thonburi. The location is great, because you get the feeling of a local neighborhood, whilst being accessible to the riverside and other parts of the city, like Siam, Chinatown, Sukhumvit, etc. The neighborhood is local, friendly, and safe, with many restaurants and food carts nearby. Icon Siam is also walkable or you can take a motorcycle taxi or BTS. Even though the guesthouse is in the city, it is calm and peaceful. It is situated at the end of a small residential alley, and there is no outside noise. I have stayed in many luxury hotels, but I keep coming back here because of the wonderful friendly service, the comfortable spaces, and the excellent value. - I really can't say enough good things! Vera Nidhara is perfect.

A group of friends and I stayed here for 5 nights while vacationing in Thailand! This was just a cute safe and well responsive hotel! Rooms are clean and comfortable with air, own bathroom, tv and plenty of space. Owner is attentive and very quick to respond with questions. This is a great location in Bangkok as well. It was easy to grab a taxi or grab vehicle! Breakfast was fantastic! We felt safe and comfortable! I would highly recommend! You will not be disappointed.

We loved our stay at Vera Nidhra! The place is so cute and thoughtfully designed. Comfortable and quiet neighborhood. The hosts are very friendly and knowledgeable- they gave great recommendations. Walking distance to ICON Siam and BTS train. Would definitely stay again!

I enjoyed my stay at this Airbnb. One thing to note is if you want breakfast you need to request it the day before. A lot of the reviews state it’s a great location, I found it a bit inconvenient. You’ll have to take transportation to every activity you do, nothing is nearby. The train and boat stations are near but I would have preferred to stay closer to areas with a fun nightlife and night market. Just something to note. The owners are great, the accommodations were nice. I found the bed to be comfortable and the bathroom was great.

Loved our stay over here. The hosts were very welcoming, and kind. They helped us with everything, and the rooms were spaciously accomodating. I joined my group later, and the hosts welcomed me like their family. Loved the aesthetic of this Airbnb, and how neatly they've organised everything to fit in the frame. 10/10 recommended.

Stayed at their airbnb for 4 days and it was a really pleasant stay. The b&b is very homely and nicely decorated, makes you feel right at home. They have certain rules to keep things in discipline and to keep the premise clean which I quite liked. The host is very warm and they provided with a sheet of recommended places for food, tours, massages etc. She is very kind with other requests too.
