What a beautiful restaurant! I was not expecting to have the best cup of clam chowder in my life in Mexico. I lived in New England for 6 years and have spent plenty of time in San Francisco... but damn... this clam chowder beats them all. This place supposedly served the first sandwich in Mexico. The ingredients were super simple, but the taste was incredible. When you're done with your meal, I recommend going up the spiral stairs to peak inside of the small office. You get a great view of the hotel lobby. Although the food was amazing, expect service to be slow. We were the only ones in the restaurant, so it was odd for that to happen. Like some of the other reviews mention, the young waiters were off to the side gossiping, which was disappointing. Our server was great. I imagine that there were lots of room service orders. I can't think of another reason why service was so slow. Worth the experience, but pack your patience.
