Veranda Grand Baie Hotel & Spa

The first minute I step into the hotel everything was good, all staff was smiling and welcoming, which was nice because I was on my own. I do lots of activities, people who said that theirs no sports and activities, maybe they had to look further. I’ve played lot of table tennis with the team, nice thing which I do with Stephane the aqua yoga, relaxed and so nice. The food is amazing, nice food , nice discovery and good service at the restaurant and the bar. Big thanks to Ajay coco, he is really helpful when it comes to help the guests. Even the guys at the boathouse was so nice to me. I do recommend the hotel and the location as well good for those who likes to discover local area and food. Too many things to say about this hotel, I had a very nice experience.

We had a great experience. The staff were very friendly and would seek us out for activities, without being pushy. They were great with my two small kiddos. Rooms are small, but cozy and aesthetically pleasing. A la cart on the beach was very tasty. My only complaint would be the late dinner service, which doesn’t start until 7pm. I simply prefer feeding my kids earlier. Aside from that, it has been a very positive stay. You also receive a complimentary massage (10 mins), that leaves you wanting more. Spa staff were also very lovely. Would recommend!

Superb in every way. The warmest of Mauritian hospitality from moment of arrival and throughtout. Porter Suresh is a longstanding and proud ambassador of the hotel. Location simply stunning. All inclusive includes quality drinks and excellent meals. Fish is the star but the menu is wide and varied and important for me locally plus sustainable sourced. Full credit to Chef Sudhir. Our 4th stay! A hotel revamp since our last has made incredible rooms even better. A wide activity programme and sunset chill music makes the Veranda the perfect place to relax and recharge. Entertainment manager Stephen checks in regularly to makes sure everyone is happy. We will be back.

February 2025 We came back 6 years later to the Mauritius 1st time to Veranda Grand Baie, we are happy to be back and we are so amazed how the staff are so helpful and kind. We are glad to experience such hospitality, my wife got injured and you people take good care of us and we are grateful for that. The ambiance is great, chilling vibes and thanks to the staff. A recommendation, maybe before closing the bar asked the guest if they want to take another drink.

We have been very satisfied with our stay at Veranda Grand Baie. We spent 8 days here and they were amazing. We celebrated our honeymoon here and we got very warmly welcomed by the staff. Thorough the whole vacation the personal was very kind, helpful and polite. The rooms are big and very nicely decorated. The food was amazing, every night there is Live music. They provide a lot of free activities that you should definitely try out, like scuba diving, rum tasting, glassbottom boat drive and sports. We would totally recommend it!

This bay hotel is delightful- friendly and charming staff , beautiful (idyllic) location. Can’t come back soon enough! Staff at Beach Hut were brilliant with my partner when she was seasick after a boat trip. Could not have been more caring. Quite exceptional.

We came back for a third time, mainly for comfort, and we were satisfied the Previous time and the fact that we already know the hotel and the facilities. ||Especially the location, which is nice.||The food to the service was over our expectation. We are happy guest and we already know that you had sea activities which is offered to guest ,which is a good thing.||The staff here seems to like what they do and this is a goos thing.

Just an amazing place to stay. The hotel is a smaller resort style hotel but it is so personal as a result. It’s really is a beautiful hotel. The staff are truly brilliant; so friendly and approachable. Little touches they did for our honeymoon were great. Also a great location for beaches and a very short walk into Grand Baie. Highly recommended
