What It's Like to Stay at Disneyland's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa

"A Ritz-Carlton–style club-level lounge located on the sixth floor that provides all-day food and beverage service (roughly 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.) including alcoholic drinks for eligible reservations, with indoor-outdoor seating and access granted to all guests on the booking up to the room’s maximum occupancy; it’s positioned as a cost-saving, convenience perk—useful for family meals, snacks, and even a VIP fireworks view—and can add several hundred dollars per night to a room rate (with the option to request access at check-in subject to availability)." - Nina Ruggiero Nina Ruggiero Travel + Leisure Senior Editorial Director Nina Ruggiero oversees T+L's award-winning travel content across digital platforms. Went to the speakeasy tonight the waitress set me at a table, several spots open at the bar as well as open tables, the rest of my party was up stairs the hostest asked the waitress to ask me to leave and give up my table as I did not go thru her but went in a side door I guess. Never been asked to leave a bar with open tables. I guess they are doing OK since they can ask patrons to leave. Happy to spend $ for cocktails at a bar that appreciates my patronage.

I love historical buildings with speakeasies in the basement. The musician was not decorated to. Actually he was about a two or three but the quaint little bar when you walk in on your left was cool and the little room on your ride where the singer saying while you waited to get into the big easy was very quaint

I visited your establishment last night with a friend of mine. When I first got there I waited while 3 if your bartenders passed me several times and never asked if I needed help. I finally asked them for help. Then we went to the Speak Easy and I must say I was very disappointed in the lack of diversity in the place. Your pictures are from the 1920’s but the only pictures on the wall are white people. Also there is no diversity in your selection of music.

I love the patio! Staff is super friendly. The crowd is always a more mature group compared to the rest of downtown and I can always count on having an interesting conversation with Mark. The bar is has a small local feel that I love! They also put on great plays throughout the year as well.

Trinity, Julian, and Makaster - they are the best bartenders!!! We had so much fun with the speak easy! We had amazing customer survive and the drinks were tailored to what we were seeking!

I loved this place. Awesome location on main drag in St Cloud. Great selection of beer and cocktails. The staff were all super nice. Nice little area for live music, opens up to the street for a ton of great action. Thanks again for hosting the show!

Yelp
Contrary to what Yelp currently says, the Veranda isn't closed. And its rail pours are top shelf booze. Seriously.

Yelp
I got here tonight a little after 8, and started with drinks in the Veranda. My friend requested something with mezcal and Abby came up with a delicious cocktail that even I liked (and I hate mezcal)!!! We headed down to the Blue Goose and were treated to some of the best craft cocktails in town. Julian recommended and served me a raspberry cold foam topped espresso martini which is hands down the best drink I've ever had. We didn't try their food but the menu sounded amazing. Prices weren't too bad especially when you're getting this quality of service!! We also came on a night where the Fabulous Armadillos happened to be playing in their theater which was a fantastic atmosphere! I came here about a week ago and Elise made my friend and I some tasty non-alcoholic drinks!

Yelp
Love having a drink at the Veranda Lounge while catching a show at Pioneer Place. This venue is the perfect size to see a play or catch a band.

Yelp
best craft cocktails around, service is as any craft cocktail bar would be which is fantastic and the jazz music on Thursdays is perfect. i have been many times and the bourbon selection just keeps growing. definitely coming back

Yelp
First of all. The Veranda is my summer hot spot and is NOT closed! Silly yelp! I could spend hours sitting outside and watching the drunk college students wander by to their trashy downtown bars as I sit, sipping my glass of cabernet and basking in the sunshine. The Veranda has half price bottles of wine daily from 4-6pm, which is a reasonable happy hour after an 8 hour day! I wouldn't necessarily recommend the food, but I guess you can't really mess up a cheese platter!?

Yelp
Finally went there for the first time a few weeks ago. It was a happy hour thing with some coworkers. Our waiter was adorable, the half priced wine special is to die for, and the appetizers quite good. Loved sitting out on the eponymous Veranda, watching St. Cloud's nightlife stream by. The live music was welcome, not overwhelmingly loud. Very cute decor.

Yelp
My favorite place in town! It's small, it features live entertainment, it has a great selection of wines, liquors, and beers. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. I wouldn't go here for food, not for dinner anyway, but the snacks are good enough. But my most favorite part is the outdoor seating area. If you're from out of town, you'll want to stop here.

Yelp
The Veranda Lounge is not a place you go for the food. It's a fantastic little live music venue that serves typical drinks and wine and offers limited hors d'oeuvres of Apperts quality. I choose NOT to like it as an foodie destination, but choose TO like it as an entertainment venue.

Yelp
The flat bread pizza was cold, soggy, expensive and super disappointing. Go here for drinks only.

Yelp
Chase our bartender wowed us all night with his incredible knowledge of spirits. Not being a big spirits fan, he explained the complexities of each item we ordered and made the experience absolutely awesome. Five stars!

Yelp
Though the service was good, they didn't have much of a selection that was available off of the long list. I'd happily go back and give it a nice try. They do have a ridiculous scotch list to choose from, so I know my man would love this place. It's small and quaint. Very relaxing.

Yelp
I go there for two reasons the entertainment and the booze. My god they have some wonderful wine and the mixologists make a mean drink. A great place to talk with friends and the regulars are friendly. I do recommend the pizza as they do have their own private recipe. I also recommend it as a destination for well produced plays and musical acts as the stage is very intimate and showcases the best of regional talent. Not all the good actors are gobbled up by the Guthry. I suggest jazz night on Monday's as all the musician are locals who tour or teach music at SCSU. When you grow up you go to the Veranda for fun and music.

Yelp
The Veranda is very simply the best place in St Cloud. Great staff, great owners and great live music in a unique venue that allows you to sit near the music or across the hall in the bar or even outside on the veranda if it is nice. This place DOES have good food!! Homemade pizza. It is really good pizza. They also have some excellent apps including a few that are made next door at Nick's, a gourmet-style restaurant. Plus they always have lots of yummy beers on tap!
